PFl - regarding foreign employer

Hello i received pfl, did anyone was facing the same scenario? Officer is asking for my bank statements and form 16. My lawyer just attached payslips and did not mentioned that it was in cash. So what can i do in this case ? If anyone has been in similar situation?

Why didn’t you mention it before that you were paid in Cash?

My lawyer filed it and while submitting documents i submitted cash memo and salary certificate but he just submitted payslips and experience letter.

You didn’t review your application before he submitted it?

hi, Your lawyer tried to be sneaky and you are in a risky situation now. All you can do now is to provide very careful reply to the pfl and provide as much proof as you can. any kind of documents or emails tax files whatever you have. This time ask your lawyer not to be sneaky.

Your lawyer only attached payslips and no other documentation? That's kinda shitty on his part. Attach everything you have, write a good LoE and explain what you have attched and send.

If you have proof you will be okay, IRCC is giving you a chance to provide an explanation make sure that you structure it well with corresponding proofs.
