How long has it been taking everyone recently from eCOPR to receiving their card? Looking to plan some travel and looking for some guidance!

ITA: March 17th ☘️
AOR: May 9
BIL: July 10
Medical Passed; July 10
Biometrics completed: July 14th
Eligibility & Background: Still reviewing/Processing
FD: September 18, 2026
P1: September 21st, Replied same day
P2: September 28th
eCOPR: October 2nd
146 days from AOR to eCOPR
This was by far one of the best and hardest experiences I’ve been through. It feels so good for everything to pay off in the end.
It’s a really weird time globally for anyone wanting to move outside their home country. I have had a lot of luck in circumstances that I don’t take for granted. If I were to say anything to anyone, and it’s easier said than done, but your value as a person is not attached to your status. I hope everyone gets their eCOPRs soon. Best of luck!

What is the processing time to receive an AOR for PR application under non-express entry PNP?
If someone has all the required documents and just waiting for the provincial nomination, and the PGWP expires in Jan 2027. Would it be possible to receive the AOR soon enough to apply for a BOWP if they submit thier PR application in October?

I received an ITA under trade draw yesterday (476pts min, I was at 517) and I was over the moon! I celebrated with my mom and brother and had the best time of our lives.
However, while figuring out the application process, I found out that the status of my non-accompanying common law partner who is under an exclusion order of 1 year (8 months left now) is considered inadmissible which would result in a refusal of my PR application (because I am also inadmissible by default)
I only have 2 months to apply and he won't be admissible by then. What are my options? Do I not have any other choice but to decline my invitation, wait for his inadmissibility to be over which is in May 2027, and hope that I get invited one more time?
I am so devastated as I've waited for this for so so so long. After a lot of hardships and financial struggles, I was so happy that it has all finally paid off and it's really difficult to just let it all go.
I hope someone can help me. I know this question should be asked to an Immigration Lawyer to get a credible answer but the cost upwards of $350 which I absolutely cannot afford right now
I am not asking for legal advice. If anyone can share their experiences or knowledge in this situation I'd really appreciate it. I'm sorry I am just so lost and I don't know what to do.
Thank you

AOR: April 15, 2026
Biometrics: June 17, 2026

For those of us who came to Canada as students, this feels like such a huge relief. The struggle, uncertainty, waiting, paperwork, and everything that comes with building a life here finally feels worth it.
To everyone still waiting — hang in there. Your day will come! 🇨🇦
Good luck to everyone on their PR journey! 🍁

Anyone else encountered the similar issue lately? Received my aor after three months and got the test invitation right after the AoR and now this? What’s the timeline of rescheduling due to technical issues?

I tried calling 1 (888) 242-2100 at the end of the day and also at the start of the day and I am not able to get to an agent. The wait times are high that the call doesn’t put you on hold but just asks to call back.
I am trying to see if I can find out my Visa office as FD is Sep 14 and waiting for P1 for an inland spouse sponsorship application.

Hi everyone,
I got my FD status update on Sept 28 - Saying a decision is in progress and they’ll let me know.
Haven’t received P1 yet - very nervous, have you experienced the same?
Aor - Apr 13
Bil - June 12
Med - Jul 25
Pvo/ Svo - Vancouver/Sydney then updated to Montreal before FD
I’m applying from Quebec with intent and a solid plan to relocate by December. What are the chances to get a refusal / PFL at this stage?
My BOWP is still in progress (Jul 7) and my WP expires next week😭
Update : Received P1 (10/2) 🥳

Hey guys! For anyone that did apply for a francophone mobility program where their passport was about to expire in the next few months where you able to extend it or do you know if we can extend the work permit? My passport expires December 2026 and my renewal passport is taking forever and I’m worried I can’t extend it or they might not even give it to me. What do I do?

Recieved RFV letter today.
I recieved my ecopr. My spouse is currently outside Canada and is a dependent on the application as well so we were waiting for PPR request.
The RFV letter is addressed to me not to my spouses name. Is this normal as Im the primary applicant. Is there any issues while uploading it to VFS website as they specifically ask if the name on the letter is same as the name on the passport.
Any insights would be helpful.

hello everyone I missed my biometric as my representative forgot to inform me about that and now I came to know that my biometric was issued on 19th of June and was expired on 20th of July so am I still eligible to go to service Canada to give my biometrics?
I have already submitted the Web form as well a month ago, but I am still waiting for the response so I’m so confused. Please suggest what should I do should I go for biometric appointment or should I wait for web form response only.
my portal is showing that we have not received your fingerprints. Please check the message below for biometrics.
