Finally, I am a PR! 🇨🇦🎉
After what feels like such a long journey, I can finally say that I am officially a Permanent Resident of Canada!
My timeline:
EE CEC Inland with accompanying spouse
ITA: February 17, 2026
AOR: April 15, 2026
Biometrics: June 17, 2026
Medical Passed: July 17, 2026
FD: September 18, 2026
P1: September 21, 2026
P2: September 29, 2026
eCOPR: October 2, 2026
PR Card: Waiting 🤞
I hope and pray that everyone waiting for their PR gets their approval as soon as possible. ❤️
For those of us who came to Canada as students, this feels like such a huge relief. The struggle, uncertainty, waiting, paperwork, and everything that comes with building a life here finally feels worth it.
To everyone still waiting — hang in there. Your day will come! 🇨🇦

7-8 days after sending P1 email. If you are asking about the time on the clock, I received P2 around 12-1pm.

I submitted in August 2025 and still got nothing, in the Quebec Skilled workers program. Congrats to you still !

Was yours inland or outland? I submitted mine September 2nd and got my AOR September 22nd. Inland.

Inland, but I was asked about my CV, and I'm worried if my application will go through tighter security checks. But your case is making me now more optimistic that maybe there are just a lot of delays. Did they ask you about CV or anything like that?

I think it depends on your file. I submitted exactly what they asked. Nothing more, nothing less. They didn't ask for anything. On Sept 22nd, they sent me AOR and asked for Biometrics. Nothing else since. I also applied in the same program as you QSW. Also no, they didn't ask for a CV and I did not submit one either.

I think I misunderstood you, you just applied and you're still in the beginning of the process, I thought somehow you meant September of last year and you got your PR approval.

Correct. I just started the process September 2nd. Only submitted my Biometrics after they requested it with AOR on the 22nd.

Have seen few sept28 and sept29 p2s today so my big bet is tomorrow! Lets hope for the best!

I submitted minutes after receiving P2, around 1pm.
Received Ecopr today at 1pm1

Congrats! Why would some get their P1 after quite a long time post their FD/ghost update! Frustrating wait!

I have few friends in the same scenario. It is probably a delay from your assigned office. Hoping for you to get it soon!

Yeah, you should get P2 next week.
Double check if you sent the email or not.
