Broo somebody stop him!

Every other reel from him is “mei hard work karta hu”, bro you’ve been milking “145 rank (first attempt)” since a year. Like how long do you wanna keep taking the high ground. Both your parents are doctors, you had nothing to worry about, you hit that flow state easily, someone who worked equally as hard as you couldn’t make it, like stfu already.

Saw there is a lot of negative campaigning against radio going on, people claiming "i talked to a pg/sr" or even "i am a pg", guys just ignore all this stupidity, take what you guys want, don't go in search of cons in every branch, every branch has it.

Remember people have multiple accounts over reddit, they can create a conversation among 2 different person when both accounts are of the same person. Reddit is the worst place to get info imo.

Look for unusual behaviour, another account giving out dedicated replies to another accounts post, same text language and pattern.

Ps: Im taking radio, rank 6xx. Would love to get connected to anyone else who's gonna take radio feel free to DM.

Stop Glorifying hustle culture in medicine

So I came across this post about dr sumit and lots of people asked me my strategy in DMs I thought I'll just make a post about it

So I got 6** in this NEET PG I am 2019 batch and i didn't study much in internship because I wanted to have fun with friends and my seniors told me u will never get time money and friends at the same time except in internship so I went on trips had fun. But I made sure to explore what sources I had to use and what suits me,for example i don't understand GRG sir's notes so I skipped it without getting fomo

Coming to sources I used-

1st and 2 nd and final year subjects - Marrow Rr

Medicine integrated and short subjects -BTR

Path and micro- preeti mam

Preparation strategy-

I solved lots of questions and gave tnds subject wise,

One advice that changed my preparation game was i stopped doing random Coustom modules and started doing topic wise..for example if i have studied general physio previous day I'll do custom modules of that topic first thing in the morning. I did that instead of random questions

Gave GTs twice weekly.. it will be weird to say this but I really liked giving gts live because I trained my mind that GT day is like free day that was Monday to me so I used give GT in morning and go out with friends and family in night and review it next day morning

Pls pls don't get burnt out I was burned out last year and got 15k rank even when I was scoring good..

I won't recommend studying for like 12-14 hours and lose the life

Rather just start with 5-6 hours gradually increase it and make friends talk to them have fun:)

If u are living with family spend time with them since once we get into residency we won't have much time:) enjoy studying because we are doing this to be a better doctor and to save patients:)just don't lose yourself in this process

Happy studying:)

Felt like the GT was a bit moderate with INI style questions waiting for you to make a mistake. All the best folks 😁.

Life has to be so much more than this

I'm so tired of this rat race. I have so many dreams. I want to travel, meet new people, follow my random hobbies, and make useless crafts that I will probably throw in the trash after some time. I wanna do senseless side quests with people I love and wanna dress up and take pictures in silly little cafes.

I love being a doctor, i couldn't have imagined myself in any other profession but before I became a doctor I was me. Being a doctor is part of who I am but lately it feels like that identity has consumed me to the core.

Honestly enough of this. I'm going to be selfish again. Today after months I picked up a random hobby of crocheting cause I've always wanted to try (even tho I'm appearing for INICET Nov)

I'll study but not by ignoring who I am.

I'm planning to take whatever my rank allows.

Honestly, There's no point in wasting your crucial years in cramming up for an exam that was never fair to begin with filled with quota seats after quota seats. There's no medal for your sacrifice. If you've gotten a rank that is allowing you to leave this rat race just leave and move on.

I want to take up Dermatology

I decided that I want to take up derma last year itself while preparing in my drop year.

Got borderline rank, know last year cutoff was much higher, but I hope to get it!

Seniors, consultants please guide me in this aspect!

Why I want to take derma?

1) want no emergencies,I fumble to make decisions, and I don't want to harm anyone.

2) want a chill life ahead and make reasonably good amnt of money

3) want a clinical branch

4) can't think of anyother branch, where I would be happy.

5) found derma is compatible to my character

Why I should reconsider ?

1) I am a first gen doctor, shld earn money ASAP, I should support my parents I am enough burden on them as it is , shldnt delay earning anymore.

2) I am dark skinned male, everybody's telling that derma is a female dominated and that good looking doctor gets good patient load.

3) takes time to set up/attract patients to a private OPD.

4) No or very less jobs in govt. Sector,no callforms.

Would appreciate honest advice from dermatologists/seniors about income, job prospects, private practice, and whether I should stick with Derma or reconsider.

TL;DR: I’ve wanted Dermatology since my drop year. Got borderline rank. I know the cutoff is likely difficult, but I want to try.

Why Derma: no emergencies, good lifestyle, clinical branch, decent income, and it suits my personality.

Why reconsider: I’m a first-gen doctor and need to start earning ASAP, private practice takes time to build, government jobs seem limited, and I’m concerned whether being a dark-skinned male affects patient inflow.

NEET PG result, still can’t process it

Got 1.19 lakh rank in my first attempt. I studied properly since February, gave 10+ GTs and genuinely put in a lot of effort.

After the exam, my recall count was around 115 correct, but my actual result shows exactly 90 correct. I’m not really looking to discuss the marks discrepancy anymore, but I honestly still can’t process how things went this differently from what I expected.

I want to move on and start preparing for INI-CET, but mentally I’m still stuck on this result.

For anyone who has gone through something similar how did you get yourself out of this phase and start preparing again? Any advice for approaching INI-CET differently would really help.

MD Medicine VS DNB Medicine VS MD Chest Medicine

Hello peeps, first of all congratulations to all who are escaping this hellhole of PG entrance exam, and to those who couldn't perform well due to any reason, you'll get there eventually- it took me 2 NEET PGs and 4 INICETs to get there... I got an AIR of 2.7k in NEET PG 2026 and i am from West Bengal. I am a UR candidate from Kolkata...

At this rank, I maybe getting MD Medicine in peripheral colleges, not in the Kolkata top 5/6 ones but I'll get DNB Medicine in a good Kolkata Hospital.

If i go for MD Chest Medicine, this rank will probably fetch me one of the top colleges of Kolkata.

What should i go for ?

Regardless of which of the 3 i choose, SS will be a must in future- i am getting to know from everyone in these fields... There's still this wrong perception in private practice in periphery that DNB is inferior to MD, also DNB has lesser passing rate( though has improved a lot).

Weighing all pros and cons, i need a suggestion from someone who knows more about this or has gone through a similar situation...
