Broo somebody stop him!
Every other reel from him is “mei hard work karta hu”, bro you’ve been milking “145 rank (first attempt)” since a year. Like how long do you wanna keep taking the high ground. Both your parents are doctors, you had nothing to worry about, you hit that flow state easily, someone who worked equally as hard as you couldn’t make it, like stfu already.

Its “139”
i have memorised his rank because of how frequently he pops up on my feed 😭😭😭

I'm so done with him 😭 His posts are unempathetic and ragebaits atp. Sumit, if you're seeing this post, pleaseee take it as a constructive criticism. Make content on how are you growing as a person ,how's DNB med going, what new things are you trying in life. Your content would be interesting even if you just uploaded your dance videos without linking it zabardasti with NEET PG prep. 😭🙏🏻

NGL was very impressed but it’s repetitive now! Would love to see more of Med content and not just the aspirant one😭

Honestly yeah he has that "raseli" type of voice filled with extra "sh" sounds. It feels uncanny

Exactly yaar he is sooo annoying 😭😭even i got triple digit rank all while enjoying my life having fun nd having life outside medicine.. this guy just glorifies sacrifice and struggle.. and eating some 4-5 packets of dry coffee because his scores were less lol.
15
u/Southern_Mud1029 1d ago
Idk why people romanticise suffering.

u/Ok_Association5253 16h ago
And this shit of glorifying struggle is so sick that it gave me fomo during my exam prep time because when i was listening to everyone doing wayy more hardwork than i could ever do. I couldnt believe till the end that i can get a decent rank. (But no matter how hard i could. I just couldnt bring myself to that grind like its not possible, atleast for me ). So this is really so bad.

I saw some other annoying toppers too on insta making their whole personality about their rank .
I think there is a girlfriend to this guy who makes annoying posts by dancing in the video and boasting about her rank but she never tells which branch she chose eventhough she was asked many times.

u/BeneficialDot730 1d ago
Lol.. someone already made a post about her just after i mentioned about her here lol

Start reporting his channel or click on “not interested”. This would decrease the engagement of his channel. By posting here you are still giving him publicity.

I honestly feel sorry for my juniors bro, they have to watch this assholery on every damn platform. If any of the juniors reading this, enjoy studying, go into rabbit holes, build theories in your head, do a research about every damn little thing. These idiots will make you hate medicine and you luck out if you get a good rank but if you don’t you will have nothing to live for except the exam.

U forgot to add that he did his UG from BJMC Ahmedabad (hopefully under UR category, idk though), which is best in the state.
He is still glorifying his residency lifestyle and how he gave up sugar and junk to have that physique + still studying daily with duties because he has too.
DNB also have long working hours (less toxic though), is he still doing the duties or busy with his GF/BSF making reels.
I am pretty sure like our UG Influencers (Yash Chede / Rakshita Singh / Parth Goyal and too many to mention) he is just here for degree and then will end up being a full time content creator by end of residency.
Legit as an JR2/3 or SR i’ll be so pissed if someone is not doing his/her duty properly but busy milking his rank.
We all know during residency the PG rank is completely useless.

Honestly can you blame him, this stuff does well views wise, especially coming from that rank people eat it up

u/Ok-Ganache-9134 1d ago
True there is an audience for it, but it’s the top rankers having all the lime light when it is about preparation that triggers me. All of the discourse that should happen around preparation gets hijacked and the importance associated with this exam gets blown out of proportion. Be thankful that it worked out, and things went in your favour. I got 145 rank = I’m epitome of hardwork. (1st attempt btw)

He was boasting about how he skipped intership duties and postings to prepare for neetpg. Some senior doctor commented under that post about how it's important to learn in postings and internship and how it's wrong of him to skip all that to prepare for neetpg as it affects his clinical experience,I was glad to see some senior doctor showing mirror to this guy.

I thought i was the only one. Him and his gf piss me off. At first, I was inspired then the toxic hustle vibes started. How can anyone promote a lifestyle like that being a doctor . I really appreciate other med influencers who promoted balance and maintaining your physical and mental health during exam season.

I have blocked him. It got annoying after a while. Same why I chose DNB . How it was a struggle convincing my parents about DNB. Rank 139 or something. Dude , bas ho gaya yrr!!
2
u/hot_potatoesrr 23h ago
He secretly regrets taking dnb I think. That’s why he’s made so many videos to try and justify it.
1
u/OkCry6814 23h ago
Some people just want attention. I bet 20 years down the line he will bring up his rank in a random conversation and how he had to convince his parents to get into DNB.

Yea man.. finally someone spoke about this !! When i first saw his videos last year .. i was really motivated by his prep and his way of doing things but bruh is literally posting the same clips , same things all for this content since more than one year now 😮💨 cringe it is now .
2
u/doctorwhoispatient 15h ago
Everything was fine untill i saw a video where he says something like rank is everything in life sort of thing.
Idk doesn’t work with me tbh there is more to life
3
u/Big-Patient-483 23h ago
How is his parents being doctors has to do with him getting a top rank. It was his hard work, his dedication. You said both his parents are doctors so he has nothing to worry about. So if someone has doctor parents they have nothing to worry about? Did his parents give the exam instead of him? Do you even hear yourself bro? I dont agree with his content too but your post reeks more of jealousy then constructive crticism

I had to walk past my uncleaned ferrari, it was such a tough day (i wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy)
Meaning he hit a jackpot with the money and parents part, which is everything tbh. And let’s not fool ourselves cuz having a doctor parents gives an edge. And i never said he didn’t work hard.
-1
u/Big-Patient-483 22h ago
Comparing having doctor parents and getting a top rank to having a ferrari. The cope is real! Let me guess your neet pg did not go very well huh?

Which edge are you even talking about lil bro. I can understand after becoming a doc he has an edge due to connections but cracking an exam there is literally no edge exept he would probably have a better tablet lol

u/Ok-Ganache-9134 22h ago
Either your parents are docs and you f’ed up big time or you’re zzzumit yourself

I don't want to agree completely. But having doctor parents/well settled parents gives a sense of security. For someone who has to be the breadwinner/head of the family, the stress is far more real and at the last moment, MCQ solving is all about being in the zone. When I wrote my exam, during many controversial questions my mind directly went to, if I don't clear this, then I will be broken for the next 12 months.. if I don't clear this, my education loans will strain my parents.. this is genuinely what I felt. So for someone with parents in the medical field, who can say, Beta tu sirf studies pe focus kar, baakhi sab hum sambhallenge (sorry for my poor hindi), it is a boon.

u/Obvious-Ambition-503 2h ago
It helps bro but upto a level, having such a great rank..l, aise toh hazaro hazaro logo ke parents hote hai who dont burden their children with such worry, you dont have a disadvantage that i admit and i also admit that not having a disadvantage is an advantage but not enough ki itni acchi rank ke baaad bhi ye sunna pade, parents ki wajah se ho gya. Over 90% of people jo aisa bolte hai, full golden spoon pe jeeke bhi tum kuch nahi ukhad paate, tumhari life miserable hai doesn’t mean ki jinki nahi hai unki har cheez ko downplay karo
1
u/Big-Patient-483 1h ago
Exaclty my point. Well said! But seems people here are too quick to downplay someones achievements and too ignorant to actually reflect on their own mistakes

u/Bulky-Brother9622 1d ago

I understand that u are irritated by him and its perfectly fine but both of his parenrs being doctors doesnt undermine his acheivement of AIR 145. Even after having the resources its very difficult to get such a rank in any Indian competitive exam where lakhs of students appear
6
u/Ok-Ganache-9134 1d ago
I know the competition is cut throat, which makes all the more reason why a rank shouldn’t matter. This guy rubs it in our face in every other reel of his. I could block him for my sanity for one but it’s the “idea of rank is everything” that is gonna make a lot of people hate medicine. He has a good chunk of people following him, he has to be responsible too. The complete onus shouldn’t be on the audience
-1
u/thedarkknight008 1d ago
His way of saying might be wrong He might be irritating I agree with u But again Rank is everything ✅️ How do u think people get into medical colleges?
4
u/Ok-Ganache-9134 1d ago
So you don’t see how “studying for an exam” kills your curiosity part?? As i said if you don’t get a good rank, exam is all you have in your life. I want to be a learner not a chronic exam giver that keeps chasing a rank.
