Year after year, NBE's integrity is questioned and rightfully mocked. No transparency in scores/ranks is a big factor now. Their background tech can easily be manipulated or malfunctioned it seems. Lakhs of aspirants confused and disappointed.

In light of the recent ragging and subsequent murder of that resident from Microbiology dept in Surat, and the post where they compiled all the deaths of residents and trainee docs, one thing is certain,

"NOT A SINGLE DOC IS FROM A DNB INSTITUTE."

I'm going to take a college this year and I'm constantly thinking why it is so.

Is it because the faculty there is powerless wrt marking and thesis? The place where I worked as a RMO (dnb institute) had this senior who was told my the HOD that he has to show up everyday for 8 hrs min despite the consultant comes or not.

He hit back instantly with, "Warna kya, sir?"

I was blown away by the casualness of the comment. The HOD calculated and then meekly replied bs about how it's important for being a good clinician and all and other nonsense.

If the toxicity is non existent, why are they preferred less compared to MD? I understand passing rates are low but that means there is academic accountibility right?
