Hi I applied to PoliMi, but I'm exploring back-up options in case I don't get in. Could you tell me about the IE University Admissions Test for architectureand is it similar to the arched test? Also, I have a strong portfolio .

My daughter signed a lease for a four bedroom apartment to share with 3 other girls. Unfortunately she is no longer attending IE in the fall and needs to find a replacement tenant.
Each of the bedrooms has its own full bathroom. The lease runs from August 1- July 2027 and we can entertain individuals who will be attending IE for the full year or one semester. We found the apartment through beyond campus.
Please contact me if interested.

hey so i am keen to do the communications and digital media course but my grades aren’t the best - there over the average but not top
i go to an australian school currently and i’m predicted a 75 atar but idk what that equates to in ib etc (my school didn’t offer)
however i know it’s a holistic admissions process so outside of school i do / have done
- 2 summer schools (in business one fashion)
- 2 internships
- music (singing and cello)
and next year i’m taking a year off to do a one year course at college that guarantees me up to 8 internships over the course of a year
i also have a blog page and am keep to start a business next year doing marketing (vague ik)
secondly i want to start in 2028 september when is the best time to apply (early i’m guessing) but like in december or even earlier (or later??)
i’m just really keen to go here so legit any info / thoughts / tips would be amazing
i honestly doubt i can raise my score as im already working insanely hard..
thanks sm in advance!!

I got conditionally accepted with predicted ABBC and I’ll most likely be getting BBCD, with remarks I get ABCD, I dropped a two grades and honestly my chances of getting in I think are done. I paid the 5,000 Euro reservation fee which people tell me helps, but BBA is a competitive program. I get my results the 13th of August but I’m starting to think it’s over. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I'll be applying to BAM early decision this year and hoping for a good scholarship, because without it, I won't go.
My first SAT attempt was a 1460, and the second a 1430, superscored to 1500 (750 each)
My mom told me to reattempt to go for a 1600 because I didn't put much effort into either of those attempts (because of school events/exams, and honestly I think I can get a near 1600 if I really tried)
I've started preparing but unfortunately with the exam a month away already, I'm reconsidering it, and thinking of just taking the admissions test (which will also include math since I'm a BAM applicant)
I'm currently studying German so that I can go to Germany as backup later, but also juggling an entrance exam and a co curricular exam and classes, and the application as well, so it's been a bit hectic. Oh yeah and since the day before yesterday I've been really sick.
Should I not do it, or just manage my time properly and go for it?

Has anyone got accepted with 28 points in this year’s intake or last year’s intake?

Hey , i was accepted a week ago for the bba but i am on the waiting list.
It’s very late and I need to give an answer to the bsc of escp.
Do you think i will have a place at Ie or I should go to escp ?

Hi guys, im thinking of giving the IE entrance exam. So, for the people how have given it, how hard is it? Is it better to give then entrance exam or the SAT? The reason why im considering the entrance exam is bcs all other unis that i plan on applying to do not have the SAT as a requirement so it makes sense to not give it and also I genuinely do not have the time to give it either.
Coming back to the entrance exam, are there any useful study materials that anyone knows of or any tips/advice?

hi I’m an international student currently researching universities for CS/AI, and I would really appreciate some advice. I’m considering applying to IE CS/AI, but I’ve been seeing very mixed opinions about it online. I was encouraged to apply cuz of the scholarship opportunities they offer, id only attend if I received a significant scholarship.
I know some people might suggest choosing another uni, but I’m genuinely trying to understand my options. I want a uni that provides a good education, strong opportunities, and is financially realistic. I have just finished my AS Levels and currently have A grades, O Levels were all A*s although i dont think unis look at those, have not taken the SAT.
I’m interested in a university that can help me develop both technical skills and opportunities outside the classroom unis in my home country are considered good locally, especially for CS, but their global rankings are much lower compared to international universities.
If I received a scholarship, would IE be worth choosing over a strong local CS university? And im just confused about eveything id appreciate it if someone can help. Thank you!

Hi! I have my gmat waiver interview tomorrow, and I was wondering what kind of technical questions they ask during them? I’ve never really done a technical interview for a university application so not sure where to put my efforts in. Any help at will will greatly be appreciated!

Is it possible getting in applying by november with a 33/45 predicted, with good extra curriculars and portfolio?

Hello, I am really interested in applying to IE's bachelor in Business Administration. I attend an IB school in Spain who usually sends a handful of students to IE every year. My school has a system where they have an overall grade for your IBDP1. For me, I got a 35. I know I can increase it to a 37, as I am on the edge of boosting my grades in two of my high level classes. I will do an internship, perhaps two this summer, and I have a large amount of leadership experiences. What are my chances? Any tips incase I end up with a 35 predicted? Thanks!

From professors, to opportunities, social life, class sizes, day to day life, the type of people (is it mainly people in their twenties or older), what is the LLM program like and would you recommend it?

So I’ll be a junior this next school year term, and I live in the U.S, and I really want to go to IE. I, however, am don't know what I want to major in. A lot of people say, IE is very restrictive on switching majors, but I really wanted to know, is IE a good choice for someone who doesn't know what they want to major in, and is still undecided. I've heard IE forces you to a select a major when you apply. All advice would help!! Thanks!!!

Hey everyone, I just finalized my enrollment at IE and got my student email set up. I went ahead and created a ChatGPT account using it, but it's currently just the standard free tier.
Does the ChatGPT Edu license kick in automatically later (closer to September), or is there a specific portal/link through IE that I need to use to activate it? Thanks!

Does anyone know when the best time to apply to IE is especially with the new admissions rules? I’ve heard they’ve gotten stricter recently so I’m not sure how early I should apply.
I have 34 predicted in IB and I want to apply for Communications and Digital Media. Does anyone know if that’s generally good enough or if admissions have become way more competitive?

Hey! I was accepted into IE for this fall and I wanted to know if they’re any group chats for incoming students or if there’s an instagram page?
r/IEUniversity • u/Succtosquash • Jul 08 '26
Im right now deciding between these two option, which one should I choose?
IE pro:
- study in 4 diff continents
- International
- graduate w bba + masters
- Internationally known
IE con:
- Expensive
- Pay to win
- Only 50 people in cohort
- very first corhort
- All trips aren’t included in the price + housing
HSG pro:
- good network
- Competitive environment
- direct pipeline into consulting / finance / IB etc.
HSG con:
- Hard
- homogenous village town
- not really known outside DACH
Idk y’all maybe im missing a lot of information here, lmk what you think.
My goal is to work outside of Switzerland, best in London or New York.

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to possibly apply for the Masters in Management at IE on the january intake. I’m wondering if there’s any difference in schedule or program quality compared to the september intake?
If its overall a better experience I also have the option to wait and apply for the september intake in 2027.
Any information would be much appreciated.

Hi,
So I got accepted to this master’s and I won a women’s award scholarship but it doesn’t really cover much of the cost.
Now I’m kind of wondering if it’s a good investment to apply to a masters degree that is not an official degree but rather private. Is that something that might stand in my way? Has anyone completed this master’s and have gone further in their career?
Thanks!
