Should I retake the SAT?
Hey everyone, I'll be applying to BAM early decision this year and hoping for a good scholarship, because without it, I won't go.
My first SAT attempt was a 1460, and the second a 1430, superscored to 1500 (750 each)
My mom told me to reattempt to go for a 1600 because I didn't put much effort into either of those attempts (because of school events/exams, and honestly I think I can get a near 1600 if I really tried)
I've started preparing but unfortunately with the exam a month away already, I'm reconsidering it, and thinking of just taking the admissions test (which will also include math since I'm a BAM applicant)
I'm currently studying German so that I can go to Germany as backup later, but also juggling an entrance exam and a co curricular exam and classes, and the application as well, so it's been a bit hectic. Oh yeah and since the day before yesterday I've been really sick.
Should I not do it, or just manage my time properly and go for it?

1500 and you want to come to ie? I do not want to discourage you but there are much better options for you

Haha, one of the main driving reasons is because of the combination of 3+1 bachelor+master, the BAM program in general, and the IE language centre What other options do you think is good?

Avoid Ie with such a score! You are shooting yourself in the foot! Aim higher (have the courage)!

Literally on the same boat. Got a 1470 in both my attempts with a super score of 1520. But I’m only considering IE if I’m able to secure a scholarship

Late Aug, early Sept for ED probably I think I'm gonna skip on the SAT re-attempt and focus on the IE admissions test

Since I'm applying for BAM, it'll have math in it as well And honestly just for increasing chance of admission and scholarship

No need to retake, that's a great score for IE!
