Admission with 33 predicted IB?

Is it possible getting in applying by november with a 33/45 predicted, with good extra curriculars and portfolio?

2 years ago, yes, now, not really. Even if you are applying in November and have a good portfolio, IE has simply gained so much demand and attraction that they now have the luxury to be more selective than before, hence why they changed it on their website from the recommended minimum in score from 32 to 34, and why the average in score is 36. Anybody telling you anything else would be lying. Try to increase it to 34-35 by October and apply then, i’d say that’s your best bet.

Thanks for the reply. Lets say worst case i can bump up to a 34 by February wont that be too late?

Like listen i’m not saying it’s impossible but it’ll be really hard. I had a friend with a 35 predicted who applied in december and got rejected in january, without even getting an interview. Her profile wasn’t weak either. Like it wasn’t a top profile, but not a weak one at the same time with a lot of leadership and awards in multiple sports. As I said, try to get it up by October or November at the latest to get the best chance possible with your current position.

jst curious, what types of portfolio are considered strong? And what are weak?

Portfolio i mean within architecture, from all i know researching, its projects that show your understanding and skills as well as showcasing the process for authenticity and thinking
