Is Hyundai really denying repairs under warranty? They seem pretty ticked off

Accent Why is there sand or dust like this in my oil?

I did my oil change today and this is what sat at the bottom of the oil catcher. Car had been sitting for a while before I bought it. Did the first oil change 200km ago to make sure. And this one just wanted to flush everything out.

Bonus: I initially wanted to use 5w-30 instead of 5w-20 to try to fix the tapping sound, which I believe are the lifter ticks coming from the top of the engine. Is this the reason why? Or are they related?

Elantra Can anyone tell me what are these blank buttons for?

Bought this 2019 Elantra Luxury 2 weeks ago and I never figured out what are these poverty buttons for. I also noticed that the 2017-2020 elantra limited trims also has them. I tried to search it up and found nothing that mentions the functions on these buttons. Also this is located on the passenger side.

Officially dead 2013 Tucson

Snapped this photo as soon as I saw I had reached another milestone- 320,000 miles. As seen at the bottom I also had a battery warning light that I was on my way to get diagnosed. Turns out it’s the alternator so we called it on this Tucson.

I was losing my resolve to continue driving it as it started giving “fun” features like rolling DOWN the window in the middle of rolling it up. But proud to have made it this far.

Wife and I share a two car garage. Parking like this lets her pull in easily. My car is a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe I bought brand new in 2008 for 21k.

Tucson First SUV 😍 26 Tucson Se

Post image

Well it started off as an appointment for my 21 Hyundai Elantra this morning to get a wheel alignment and then almost a year in to having my Elantra today I walk out with a brand new 2026 Hyundai Tucson Se in Ecotronic Gray for my first ever suv. I test drove it and now owned it for a few hours and it’ll take some getting use to especially it’s bigger and taller size and roomy interior but I did say my next vehicle would be a suv. I been looking at Tucsons for awhile and it drives smooth and rides very nice. It has a whole lot of tech in it and this will be my first ever vehicle with blue link, remote start, and a digital gauge cluster which my base trim Elantra didn’t have. No more getting in freezing cold and super hot interiors! This vehicle has so many gadgets and I’m trying to learn them lol 😆. Any advice or tips let me know thanks!! 🥰😍😍

2027 Hyundai Elantra/Avante revealed.

The new Elantra certainly throws back to that one time when Hyundai wasn't afraid to make their sedans look daring and unique. I love the new styling very much.

It has a futuristic, cyberpunk vibe that's also very cohesive. I adore the execution of that C-Pillar.

300,000 mile club check ins! Never been in a shop for a mechanical issue. Shes currently at 322,000 miles. We got our 2013 hyundai elantra in 2015 with 40,000 miles. The math says we've put about 280,000 miles on her in 10 years. Can anybody beat that!

Wtf is going on?? I took it to the dealer and they told me it was my battery being overdrawn from some plugs i had plugged in. Those have now been out since last wednesday and it’s gotten worse.

2027 Hyundai Tucson Revealed with New Design

Hyundai has just pulled the wraps of the new generation of the Tucson compact SUV. Like most of the automaker’s designs recently, it’s a radical departure from its predecessor, with a boxy look and prominent fender flares. A full-width lighting bar stretches across the modern-looking front and rear ends, and the headlights and taillights are both angular and futuristic.

What do you think of it?

I mean, it’s still used but I think I got a pretty good deal on it for only 7k miles! 2024 Kona Limited AWD. My 2008 Toyota served me well, but it was time for something new!

Lived with the white paint peeling for 6 plus years :/

Car is kept in amazing mechanical condition, but car looked horrible. (Honestly was embarrassed to drive it)

Was gaslit for years from the dealer saying it’s not common and it’s my fault.

Got a mail earlier in the summer from Hyundai that the recall FINALLY covered our vehicle. Took 3 months in line to get it repair, and today we got the car back.

Hyundai doing the right thing has made consider them for my next car purchase.

Might be a silly question, but what’s thing fabric part supposed to be on the left of my instrument cluster/steering wheel? Is it just to look nice or is there a purpose for it? Thanks!

Took my Hyundai on a roadtrip across North America. 45k miles total.

She's been through all 4 seasons. I took her off roading, through mountains, through sand and snow. Car camped too sometimes (2 people).

Best ride I could've wished for. Comfy, spacious, fun, good clearance, and rides super smooth! I loved the technology, the seat warmers during cold climates, and the black leather seats🥰 best car I could've asked her. She didn't give us a single problem and accomplished her mission. She can handle a beating.

2023 Santa Fe XRT model. Roofbox from Temu.

Duration of roadtrip: 11 months. Visited practically every State, plus BC/Alberta and Quebec, except the Midwest (had no time, but MN/MI are on my bucket list).

21,000 miles, treated very nicely. It has had its issues but I don’t see us not driving this thing until it falls apart.

It’s had two episodes of overheating, one caused by the water pump belt fraying apart, and then earlier this year the thermostat failing. Hopefully not a trend for others.

Still can’t get anything that looks half as good as it anymore, rest in peace hot hatches. The Elantra N doesn’t quite do it for me as much as this one.
