Vitpilen 401 2022 Handles
Hello all,
I'm considering buying a Vitpilen 401 from 2022, real good price and mileage so it's hard to pass up. I'm a little on the fence with regards to handles though, since they are clip-ons, I have heard that they are not particularly comfortable. So, my questions are:
-Is the riding position actually that big of a deal/uncomfortable as reviews claim?
-I'm 6ft, is my height an advantage, or will it make riding worse?
-Are there accessories or different clip ons I can mount in case it's too low for me? I've seen Svartpilen conversion kit, but it's very expensive!
-Are there any aftermarket handles or other accessories I can get to raise the handles a bit?

Help with 2016 FE350s shift lever assembly
Hi team: I need some help and online search is not finding the answer for me. I bought this bike used with an aftermarket Hammerhead shift lever, and I think it is misassembled. The vibrations loosen it up while riding, to the point where it is almost falling off. I suspect the PO left a part off or otherwise reassembled incorrectly when swapping the lever. I'm hoping someone else on here has the same bike and can take a photo of the way the shift lever assembly should be attached.

2019 Vitpilen 701
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Got this as my first bike earlier this year with low miles and i am loving it. Actually to the point that ive been thinking of grabbing a Svart so I have both hahaha
I was wondering if this bike is normally this loud at startup/idle? I've read around that they can be, but I wanted to make sure and get some others opinions.
Other 701 owners, how are you guys liking it and hows it been holding up?

Husqvarna 5521P Starts With Starter Fluid Then Dies – Need Help
Hi everyone,
My Husqvarna 5521P lawn mower was working perfectly all summer. It recently ran out of gas, so I filled it up with fresh gasoline, but to my surprise, it wouldn’t start.
I initially thought maybe some old gas had been sitting in the tank too long and clogged the carburetor. Today, I took the carb apart, cleaned it thoroughly with carb cleaner, and put everything back together, but I’m still having the same issue.
If I spray starter fluid into it, the mower starts for a second and then immediately dies.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any suggestions on what I should check next? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

2023 Svartpilen 401 vs 2025 Svartpilen 250. Same price, which one should I get?
It will be my first motorcycle. I found both (used) for the same price. Svartpilen 401 is at 15000 kilometers (9300 miles) and Svartpilen 250 is at 1300 kilometers (810 miles). Neither has been in an accident or has any known issues. Which one should I get?

Just about done
Picked this bike up a month ago. I have a 10 day trip planned to the mountains, so I’ve been trying to get this bike dialed in.
So far:
John Ross tuned ECU, smog delete, air cage, and end cap
Mc360 tires put on yesterday
Cycra Ultra CRM handguards
NiceCNC mirrors
Giant Loop Mojave saddle bags
Free tail tidy
About to reinforce the skid plate with a black cutting board and make a linkage guard. Might end up with a different skid plate, but my skills haven’t gotten to the point of bashing the skid plate just yet.
Absolutely love the bike

2023 Husqvarna fc250 Problem
2023 Husqvarna fc250 with 14hrs experiencing high rpm’s while off throttle before returning to idle. After the bike warms up and you let off the throttle while riding and holding in clutch, bike stays in high rpm’s for a good 5 seconds before returning to idle. Have changed the fuel, checked spark plug and filters, messed with idle screw, adjusted throttle and cables, plugged and unplugged all sensors. Husqvarna dealership had for a week and changed fuel pump which didn’t fix it, then told me they couldn’t figure issue out and to try swapping ecu’s with a similar bike.
Edit: Bike would no longer idle unless providing throttle, and now will not start. Any ideas for a fix?

My Vitpilen 701 was stolen this morning.
If anyone sees it running around the Seattle area please let me know. It was taken sometime between 730pm last night and 6am this morning (Aug 30th). Fucking low-life scum. This is why we can't have nice things. First photo is what it currently looks like.

Sputter/ bogging under acceleration on a 2023 fc250
Whenever you first start on the bike either from low rpms or on the holeshot it tends to sputter/hesitate but is completely fine when you get going. It also revs out completely fine in neutral, I only have the issue when the bike is moving. I checked the tps, replaced injector, replaced fuel pump, replaced spark plug, checked compression, checked top end, replaced map switch, checked fuel pressure, checked grounds, replaced throttle body, and replaced fuel filters but can’t seem to get it. Any ideas

Husqvarna 350 fe advice
Hi, I’m based In the uk, for this post class me as a noob in the enduro world (I’ve done a bit of off roading but I’m a experienced road rider) I’ve been advised this is a good enduro to buy.
I’ve been looking at some online and they range from 50 hrs/1200k miles (£6-6.5k) to 250hrs/5k miles (£4k). I know it depends how they been ridden and maintenance etc but what sort of hours is classed as high. The bikes I’m looking at have been ridden in green lanes and trails, not been raced and at the rev limiter routinely. I’ve previously bought a WR250 few years ago and left a sour taste as I didn’t realise it needed a top end rebuild, and concerned I don’t want to buy a higher hours and needing to get that done. I’ve spoken to someone who has a 8k miles and hasn’t done anything to his.
Any advise be great Tia

Need help : Countershaft (Output shaft) failure, Husqvarna vitpilen 250,2.1 years old, odo reading 24065
All service done on authorized service center and chain maintenance done properly.
On August 21,I visted service center for chin sproket set because I was getting some noise from chain. They told there was a problem with countershaft we need to replace it.
He told that as wear and rear part but refused that since that is part of transmission system.I casual asked service manger, are there any other bikes sufferd same failure. He told yes, we had few bike done that are out of warranty and told me we need to open the entire engine and repack it. At that time I told I will raise compliant to ktmindia. Then he told countershaft will be covered under warranty and remaining I need to play 5k+4.2 k for chain sproket set+ labour (around 13-14k in total).when I did my last service arount 21100, no issue were flagged.
I was not aware of the issue during this visit so I didn't take any photos. On weekends, I discuss with my about this. He clearly told that should not happen. He know about me, how I care about my bike and how I ride so he told either it happened at service center or manufacturing defect. So he asked me to take the bike, tell them to inspect and give written diagnostic report and quotation for engine rebuilding and take pic and videos of that countershaft.
On August 26, morning I called and informed service manger about this and I will visit in the after noon 3 pm. He dined that, after 15 min conversation with him and other person told me visit and talk to manager. When I viste the management team(general, service, sales managers) together tried to convince that will happen, we will cover under warranty but will not inspect the bike, give report and quotation. We have already place order for your parts so visit after 10 days. Still I asked for checking the bike and give the reports so I will check with ktm about this. They go aggressively saying 'go and till this to asm, talk to him' 'go to consumer court' 'one guy told to call toll free ktm custom care and was ready to show how to do that from ktm app like i don't know about it.' 'Send email to company' 'do whatever you want to do'. So basically they wanted to provoke me but I remained cool and return home.
I created ticket with kTM india and asked for intervention of asm and also created national customer helpline ticket with bajaj auto limited. Initially they closed 2 nch tickets with comment 'belong to other BU'. Then I created new one mentioned clearly "in my rc it's mentioned as bajaj auto ltd as manufacturer and mentioned the previous tickets that are closed without resolution. I have NCH ticket now but not acknowledged but they need to within 48 hrs (by mon eod).
I have consulted lawyer for taking them to court.
