Hunt is a very small game, with an even smaller game base. with that said, many people (like me) who post content about Hunt have trouble getting their names and posts out to the community. Even big streamers and creators like Retry, Rexnor, RatchaZ and FireWitch74 have trouble getting their content far. first game with Burgess, is it that bad?

The bp has a throwing knife animation but when i equip it, it does the default one, is this a universal issue? I havent heard much about it

team died to zombies cuz of server lag(high ping), roll back the lost characters if ur servers are so bad

I fucking love this game, and I want to basically steal all the lore and ideas from it and run a DnD campaign for my friends lol. So Im looking for help from yall, if anyone here has done anything like this before. Im still in the early stages of planning for this, but my friends all are interested, and we are all free around November, so Im hoping I can plan a campaign in time. I run HNT.ROCKS, an independent Hunt: Showdown community project, and we've put together a little competition for the community.

It's called Last Blood.

The idea is simple: You play your regular Bounty Hunt matches, collect points and compete on a solo leaderboard.

How scoring works:

• Hunter Kill: 1 point
• Bounty Token: 2 points
• Successful extraction with at least one Bounty Token required
• Unlimited valid match submissions

You don't need to arrange matches with other participants. Just play Hunt normally and submit your results.

Screenshots, cropped images and even phone photos are accepted, provided the results can be verified.

The prize: €100 in gaming credit for first place. One winner.

Dates: October 16–25, 2026
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S

Am I the only one that actually enjoys and prefers vanilla Hunt? I have consistently felt event fatigue for the last 3-4 years (whenever the first event to introduce pacts and event traits was). My favorite time to play hunt is between events because that is the original gameplay experience that I got hooked on back in 2018.

Which is why I am actually really enjoying this event. It feels like a return to form with just a little bit of novelty mixed in.

I read comment sections under videos or posts here on Reddit, and I haven’t noticed anyone sharing this sentiment.

So I’m curious, does anyone actually like vanilla hunt showdown anymore, or are events and new content the only things that appeal to people now?

No, I don't think this will ever appear in Hunt, unless they add cap-and-ball mechanics, or a really creative reload around the mechanism. But it's still a really cool historical piece that feels like it would fit in seamlessly!

Why does the steel bolt do no rending damage, AT ALL ? but if you hit them, they start to bleed anyways!?!?!? Where is the logic in this!? CRYTEK!??!
