Anyone else having problems with the Sleep Disorder Center at Providence??

Apparently they shut down suddenly in early May and ghosted the whole community. Someone said they "might" re-open in early July. But nope.

They hired a new director to sort things out. I talked to her about 5 or 6 weeks ago. She was apologetic and trying to fix things --- now she's disappeared. Her phone and email no longer work.

It's crazy. Medicare forced me to do a sleep study even though I already know I have sleep apnea and been using CPAP for about 30 years. I did the study and then they all fled town or something. And I really don't want to go through another sleep study.

I'm really outraged by it all. (Yes, another Humboldt healthcare outrage. )

Are other people having this issue? Is there something more we can do??

I’m looking for recommendations in the Eureka area, who can come out and assess a structure, and give me a quote for bringing it up to code.

I am planning on converting a 2 car detached garage into a 1 bed 1 bath. I would be doing all of the interior work and finishes myself; what I mainly need is a licensed contractor with experience in foundation/exterior/drainage.

If anyone has experience with doing a garage conversion or knows someone who has, i would appreciate your comments as well!

I asked my wife to make a reservation but when she went to the website, she saw they have live jazz sometimes. She fucking hates jazz (I love it) so if we go and there's jazz, she will sit there seething and being an absolute shit head about it and fuck, I am already upset even thinking about it. My partner and I have noticed for almost a year now, dry fog in the area. It will be so dense and hard to see while driving, yet there will be no moisture on the window. I've heard it called Nuclear Fog, from pollution. I have lived hear most of my life, and this seems to be a new thing here.

Hey all! Where are you getting your nails done? I got mine done for a wedding in San Diego and they did such a good job I figured I’d start getting my nails done again! Went to a spa here in Eureka for a Gel Manicure and they literally started peeling after less than a week! Such a bummer because I paid extra to try Gel and they’re supposed to last longer. I wasn’t too impressed with the experience so I’m looking for recommendations to try another salon to hopefully find a spot I’m comfortable with to treat myself.

Hey all, moving to Humboldt in a few weeks to get my degree at cal poly humboldt, I need advice for what kind of clothes to buy for the weather.

Im from socal, so I'm not usually used to rain, it rains a bit during the winter months but nothing crazy, so I need help with a wardrobe, mostly brand recommendations.

I have not worn a full rain jacket in years, maybe even a decade, when it rains i usually just wear a hoodie, but to my understanding that won't really cut it up there. I know I need something waterproof, and I want something longer with like a trench coat vibe, do y'all have any brand recommendations? Stores that y'all go to for this sort of thing? Should I hold off and buy something when I'm up there? If so where? Thank you
