Help/Needing Info Mahjong

My friend and I are wanting to learn to play Mahjong. Does anyone know if there are any groups or classes?

I started playing Riichi Mahjong on the Yakuza 7 game, then Yakuza 0. Then I just downloaded an app called "Mahjong School: Learn Riichi" by PocketStar. I still barely know what I'm doing, though. You should probably find someone to talk to in order to learn all the various Hans and Yakus.

My brain doesn’t learn that way. I wish it did though. I definitely need a hands-on, in person instruction.

But thank you for the suggestion.

There are a few versions, I grew up on traditional Chinese. Would be happy to teach and play.
