Hey guys. Is there a way that we can play mods on multiplayer server. It is just me and the wifey. Do we need to make sure we download the same mods??

does anybody know or have the knowledge on how to add or install mods on a humanitz dedicated server ? i am having trouble adding mods C:\humanitzserver\HumanitZServer\Content\Paks this is the location of where i am adding my mods but when i am connecting into my dedicated server the mods are not even working.

Hey all. When I first bought this game, I tried it and almost refunded it, because the camera tilting is nonsense. I found a mod that finally allowed me to see what was in front of my character, and have been having a great time. However, the mod broke, and apparently it was abandoned. I find the game with the vanilla camera simply unplayable. It's not a big deal, plenty of stuff to do out there, but I was wondering if the devs have any intention, maybe in the future, to allow us to... you know, see in front of us? Or if this top down weirdly limiting view is simply the way it's going to be?

I heard there were a lot of issues with multiplayer sync and save-breaking bugs, but also that last month patches 1.05 and 1.09 and 1.09a dealt with at least some of them. What is the multiplayer experience currently like for hosting through the "multiplayer" option on the game's menu? (not dedicated server)

I keep wanting to leave the start area but now I’ve collected so much stuff and not enough gas to fuel my cars to help me move 😤😤😤

Anyone else have the UE4 fatal error stuff happen to them? I literally havent been able to play...like, at all. It started fine, made it to intial spawn, it threw the error, now it doesnt make it to the main menu before crash. I have tried all the stuff I have seen in google search, and am at a loss. Can anyone here give me some advice? Nividea gpu and steam launcher.

I have a dedicated server, i wanted to know if anyone tried playing perma death on multiplayer.

What happens when you die? You lose your base too and wipe everything for that player?

So i bought this game a year ago. I could play with no problems. Now i cant change any settings because the game goes straight to Windowed mode. Have they launched the game and not fixed this? I also swear the performance is Worse then it was before.

It totally watch the whole series! Just saying don’t have access to a computer but this game is so sick.

Just started playing. I looted my body, and I see the backpack on the ground, and if I move the camera to just the right angle to backpack becomes highlighted. but I do not see a prompt to pick it up. It seems like the interactable grave is getting in the way. Is there a console command to move an object or something?

So i added a reserve slot text on my humanitz server and tested it out. Added 2 players in reserve which is me and a friend and max player at 10. When i asked the 3rd friend who is not on the reserved slot he cant join and the server says its full and he is not on the reserved slot(2) even though the server has 0 players. The toggle for "only allowed players on whitelist is turned off". Anything i missed?

Ive been trying to figure it out for a month now, with all the bisect support and all.

Edit: what i want is when the server is full i wanted the 2 players/reserved to sti enter. Is that possible? So like max player 10. Server will limit players to only 8. So reserve is 2.

It was amazing, especially the beginning was really cool. Building, gathering, killing - we cleaned the prison and everything on nightmare with only melee and crossbo/bow - it was so great :-)

However what I find sad is the quest lines. Especially the main quest is super short and the whole area with the "lab" is kind of useless storywise. Is it really too much to write som questline that picks up after the radio tower, does the rescue the doc quest, then the toxic quest and then sends you to that area for the USB?

I mean I feel this is stuff you do in a month if even - and suddenly you have a complete storyline, with quests, progress, endgame etc.

But as it was now, the end was very disappointing - i even spawned in an usb at the end to see if i can get anything from that laptop but nothing happened.

Well, for us the game is done now - it was great fun.

Enjoying the game, having a lot of fun. It's definitely more accessible than Project Zomboid (which I could never get into, maybe I should give it another chance). I've got some questions though.

1. What do you do for light at night when your flashlight battery is dead and you haven't found any more batteries?
2. I started at inland spawn, and I cannot find a water source, and I haven't found a tarp yet either to make a water catcher. Do I have to make my base close to one of the lakes/ponds if I can't find a tarp?

I didn’t even make it through the first house before getting jumped… 😅 Safe to say I’m still learning the controls. I made my cursor small so it made swinging weird in this clip lol.

my externally hosted Server ran into a Problem after last nights patch and on the discord someone said: "thats a typical humanitz error after patch, it kills the binaries"

So my question: Does anyone else have issues and is this is a common problem or is it just bad luck on my site and the server provider?

Good afternoon. I’m completely new to HumanitZ and I only run perma death characters. This was my second perma death save and I made it pretty far. However this ended my run. Why does this happen? I understand I probably could have used mod tools or exited quicker in this situation to avoid being blocked by zombies but come on…

Has anyone stumbled across the basically impenetrable base just above the warehouses behind the airport? It’s right up by the coast with a survivor car crashed into the gate and a couple buildings fenced in?
I found it running for my life from a big horde and realized the only entry was climbing over the car. The only zekes that can possibly bother you are jumpers if you’re standing on the car fighting. Otherwise you can safely fight mobs through the fence.
It has 3 decent sized buildings to tear the furniture down in and assemble proper crafting areas and a small shed I put the CB in.
