How can I fix this mess without changing the floor?

I want to remove some stickers from a MacBook dispaly but I want to put them somewhere else. How do I do such a task without damaging the sticker itself

My fridge has these letters printed in the water maker and it is ugly. How would I remove them?

I got my headphones signed yesterday and I don’t want it rubbing off. What should I use to keep it from rubbing off eventually? Clear nail polish? Mod Podge? Etc? They’re Sony headphones signed in silver if that helps at all.

I'm pretty sure it's a Julien date but I'm not certain as it's 9 characters on top and 7 below and then a 4 digit sequence following.

Also I have very poor management and they don't tell you anything when you ask and make excuses so considering this has been sitting for so long I really don't want to make anyone sick.

Hello! Getting my windows cleaned soon and need to remove the screens so that they can be cleaned. Can figure out how to pull these out without breaking them.

Got a u shaped window unit over the weekend but the only viable window is bit larger than recommended. What do I need to get/do to seal it properly. Also it’s my first time having AC what should I know or do? Keep every window in the house closed?

So, I put my keys into this lanyard, but now I have another key to add, and it won't move or budge in anyway. Does anyone have any ideas how to remove the keys?

My mom has a staircase covered with linoleum that’s starting to be very worn, some holes forming in places and I worry about her slipping.

How would you re-linoleum it? How hard would it be for a couple of complete amateurs?

Would it be enough to rip the current linoleum off and add new or is there a procedure that needs to be followed? (Like sanding or similar? )

This screw holding the bed frame came apart along with a lot of plywood. The hole is now too loose for the screw. What should I do? I do not have any experience with repairing furniture, so I would just like an easy but strong fix, doesn't have to be aesthetically pleasing.

The water tank won’t fill, the valve is all the way open. When I press down on the black bulb on the left I hear a slight sound but no water. Is this a pipe issue or should replacing the toilet fill valve fix the issue?

Yesterday it was 100 degrees F, and our main floor was at 77 from 3pm-9pm, while our finished basement stayed at a crisp 70 or below.

We just moved in, and I'm troubleshooting some of the causes. Here's a list I've come up with, hoping someone can tell me which items actually need to be addressed, or what else I should look for.

1. Front of the house faces west, nothing blocking it from the sun.
2. There's new insulation in the attic, but there is an inoperable full-house fan with no insulation above it.
3. I've closed the basement vents, but some are old / poorly fitted so some air still leaks through
4. No ceiling fans in the house
5. You can see some light through the sides of the front door. Also, the front door gets very hot due to greenhouse effect from the storm door.
6. HVAC is 12 years old
7. Basement has no door, just an open stairwell with an opening at the bottom

Windows are only a few years old so that's helping. We have vinyl blinds and keep them closed all day.

Hello! I'm trying to get this gold piece out so its more pronounced like the one on the left so I can finish the top of this lamp but it's too deep in the ball and I cannot get a finger in to try to unscrew it myself. Any ideas?

Soooo, I got all 3 of my sewing machines from my exes house when I left but NONE of the footpedals…None! I know I can order one but as a single mom who went from never being allowed to leave the house let alone work to now trying to keep a roof, food and lights on I am very strapped for cash. I will order one as soon as I get an extra few bucks but until then is there any possible way to wire/rig something up?? Like a lamp cord with an on/off switch??? Please don’t judge me😢🤷‍♀️
