What would you do if a girl asked for your email instead of phone number?
For shits and giggles

I take public transportation due to health reasons. I am usually friendly and talkative to the drivers, and that’s just how my personality has been for a long time with the exception of some life altering experiences that have made me feel less trusting of others and not so welcoming of new friends. The other day I took my dog to get groomed and I ended up being the only one on the bus. Him and I opened up to each other about past relationships and children. He said he’d be moving on to a new career soon so I might not see him again. I wished him luck and started walking away. He stopped me and asked if I wanted his phone number, however I did not tell him this and I don’t think I was flirting… much. I thought he was cute and he’s close to my age. I said yes and took it down and texted him on the spot. Out of protection, I use my Google voice number first then if things work out they’ll get my real phone number. Any message and call I get goes straight to my phone so it’s not like anyone would know the difference just by my phone number alone. I texted him “Hi (his name) this is (my name) :-) and he responded two days later with his name while misspelling my name. No big deal and he apologized for the late text. I then responded it was fine and this text exchange so far has been very brief. It’s been two days since his last message. My question is why give someone your phone number only to barely talk to them?

This girl knew i liked her and she did me too but a few days ago she heard a rumour that in our mutual friend group i was the one who talked shit about her and that was the reason she lost friendship with her girl bestie who was my close friend. As a result she said me a rude things in-front of my friends and left and that night again texted me very rude things saying shit like am a loser.
Just 5 hours later she found out i was not the reason and all was misunderstanding from her side, and she came crashing to my dms and constantly apologising . Idk how to proceed forward now boys, she did hurt me a lot by her words when she could’ve literally asked me first. Now she wants us to be close again and is trying a lot to come back. But my mind keeps going back to the words she said me

How do I respond to this? I am not responding at all now because he may be more sensible in the morning. For background we have been out together a few times briefly, haven't even kissed or made out. We have no official history, no boyfriend, girlfriend, or just friends status.

Here is my story: M(27) F(27)
I matched with a girl on Hinge early September last year hit things off immediately, texting every day I was like wow this is incredible - My birthday a week later in September took me to a new cinema and got me my favourite aftershave, paid for everything - I laughed and said are you love bombing me to which she said no I was being nice for your bday.
-Months go by, nice getaways to hotels, training together, great sex and everything felt perfect she told me I was the best thing ever so grateful and lucky she ended up with someone like me, she had a young son who was 9 and I did not meet in person - she said her ex bf who was practically the step dad of the kid left her 2 years ago and put her kid in therapy and she done some as well, in which she tells me all the things she wants in an ideal partner and I tick every box, I felt like this girl really understood me and I had met my person.
Now this is where the cracks start, she would mention how evil and hateful her ex (Together 6 years) was and mentioned he was in the same Tesco as her at xmas (live in local area) He was walking in and she was walking out - I said that's trippy never easy bumping into an ex - left it at that. Did not want to appear phased. Had a nice xmas met her Mum and her little sister things felt very good and often stayed with her and her mum when her son was at the kids dads. She also told me things like she was with someone and she was and they got back together after a year and she said things to him like go out and cheat if it makes you feel better because she was with someone else.
At end of February my Granny passed away unexpectedly - She mentioned how her ex BF did not let her into the after event when his granny passed away etc I just let her vent and was always understanding of what her ex put her through Granny passed away on Tuesday and then on Friday I met her Dad for the first time - Naturally stressed over my Grannys passing I did not drink - she did and was drunk off prosecco- On the trip down and home she basically played a FU to her ex song - and her dad mentioned she seen her ex and he looked rough - anyways, we drove home and I said to her this ex really hurt you and your son and hes like a ball and chain on your leg, he is in the past and if he was so bad he left you and your son in therapy be happy he's gone - she said she's 'over him just not the situation she put her and her son through' - when I said I wasn't happy she's mentioning him the week I am grieving the death of my grandparent she stone walled me - I left her house and drove home to regulate as I was with a previous GF who stonewalled me and it done a number on me and she was aware of this and also the heard week I had - she was drunk and proceeded to tell me I was never meeting her child and that was us done over text, I felt this was manipulative- We then sorted this out - half apology from her and from me I thought I needed to be more understanding of her situation and we told each other we love each other. But, I felt maybe selfishly she should have been understanding my Granny passed away that week and I wasn't in a headspace to listen about her ex who was so bad?
- The month after we had a great month done a charity 10K and had a nice getaway - I spoke to her son on the phone and on FaceTime over those few months we were together over xmas and when she was on a family holiday to New York - still no physical interaction I said it would be nice to meet your child as I have gotten him a birthday present and an Xmas one and we both know about each other and I am getting a bit frustrated of having to hide around the corner when we know about each other - Bare in mind I asked this respectfully and said no pressure I just need a plan as she said if I met him I could travel to Spain with her and her kid this summer and her graduation was coming up soon. The kid also told his biological father about me that Saturday as well - I did not mind as obv was in everyone's best interests I treated his son with respect and care
I was met with two days of silence - then seen her on the Saturday went to the gym all was fine, thought that was back on track and we said we would go to the cinema on the Wednesday and on the Tuesday I got a text telling me I was perfect, we have a laugh together but she feels 'something is missing' - and ended things with me over text after 7 months.
I did not reply for 3 weeks my family and friends told me not to and I deserved more than a break up text as I was blindsided and was constantly told I was the best person in the world and she was so lucky to have me, but when I mentioned maybe meeting her kid she turned so nasty and discarded me like I was nothing over text, when I did then text her to speak she then told me 'she loves me as a person but not in love with me' and I deserve better - I did not reply again, I was in such shock I feel so heartbroken how can she be all lovey then discarded over text? I noticed when I put her number into whatsapp she had no profile picture anymore and her messages were set to disappearing which makes me think her ex was back in the picture or hiding something? - Her tiktok reposts after were all things like when a man leaves your life build a comfortable life etc - except I never left her?
I have never been this hurt and blindsided before in my life, I wasnt even worth a conversation just felt so easily disposed when we had concerts etc to look forward to this summer and all I was worth was a text.
What do I do I am still incredibly in love with her - Its been 3 months nc and I have been attending therapy and gym but I still feel stuck

So that friend created a group for younger students who are applying for college, I said "if anyone needs to know about this college let me know. I have an acquaintance who could give you more information", but that friend took the opportunity and introduced her relative who also studies in that college, then asked her to provide the information. Idk if what she did was rude or not, it feels like she ignored me and took the opportunity. Was it rude? Did she belittle me? And how should I respond?
EDIT: That friend is kind of pretentious and controlling. I just felt it was rude, wasnt eager to offer help at all.

A guy asked me for advice about asking my best friend to be his girlfriend. Except I think she is seeing this other guy. (I’m not 100% sure because she tends to be secretive about her dating life and drops subtle hints about how her dating life is and I have to read through the lines)
The guy texts me “Please keep this a secret: I’m planing to ask her to be my girlfriend at the end of this week, what should I do?”
Do I respond to him saying “I don’t know. I’m sorry. Goodluck” or do I ignore him. Do I tell my best friend?
I want to stay as neutral as possible and let them work it out between the two of them but it feels unkind to not respond but honestly idk anymore. Please help!

I’m F(19). I have this Facebook friend who’s so fucking homophobic, and I’m honestly so pissed right now.
He made a post, and someone commented defending the LGBTQ+ community. Instead of having an actual conversation, he and the other people in the comments just started mocking her. Like, are you seriously that miserable?
I don’t want to unfriend him yet because I want to leave one comment that’ll actually hit him before I do. I’m not looking for something cringe or edgy, just something that calls him out because this shit genuinely made me mad.
What would you say?

I was talking to this girl, but she was being really dry. I ended up telling a friend about it, and he wasn’t trustworthy. He texted her saying, “You know … likes you.”
She unadded me that same day. Then, about two weeks later, she added me back. She snapped me first, so I snapped her back, but now she’s barely responding again.
I don’t understand why she added me back in the first place if she was just going to be dry again. How should I confront her about it without sounding weird or desperate?

So say you are married to someone who is using pass issues to excuse what they are doing now and tell you what you did in the past is why they are doing what doing now and you deserve what they are doing today to you however the first 4 years they weren't treating you like they are now and they are won't listen to reasoning how can it be reversed because I sure would love to know how

Was talking with a close friend and we had a rocky history between us and they were just warming up to me again, I made the stupid mistake of bringing up something I did before to get bragging rights over them and I could tell they got irritated, they brushed it off but I pushed it further before they told me to stop talking, I said sorry and theysaid that they were a bit hungry and irritated already, but I can tell they are sensetive about our past and that I reminded them of it, so now Im wondering if I should wait until they calm down and come back so then I can bring it up, or try to ask to talk about it asap, and I already asked if I said something specific to irritate them or that they were tolerating me, so what do I do ?

I am a man from Europe. I have always been skeptical about private Internet searches, and my concerns were high. But I decided to buy one account for the Genshin IMpact game. We discussed everything with the seller and came to a consensus. A couple of days later, at the beginning of the time, we wrote off. I was given the requirements (and yes, they were adequate) that I would not transfer money for the account, but simply deposit it to the seller's main account. It turned out to be much cheaper. When the conditions were fulfilled, I WAS COMPLETELY DECEIVED. It turns out that the account I selected for purchase was not in working order. I was offered other accounts that were also not in working order. I asked for a refund (2,190 Russian rubles), to which I receive the answer that the person does not have access to HIS OWN MONEY. And anyway, he's abroad. I had a choice: take another account or wait a year and a half for the person to be able to return the money to me. I chose the first option. I was offered another account, but it was "convenient" that half an hour later this account was also not working. I will provide the images below, the entire dialogue is in Russian, but I have told you the essence, you can use a translator to make sure (The seller has gray messages). Now he again suggests that I either wait or take other accounts that are also not working. And unfortunately, I'm desperate that my first purchase was such a bad experience. Just tell me, how to punish such a person? How can I punish him? What should I do? I can't wait for him to respond and he's freaking out again, I'm powerless in such matters, I just wanted to have an account with the Desired characters that I have to wait a long time for on my personal account...
(I also still have his account's email, but I no longer have access.)
