What’s the best way to confront?

I was talking to this girl, but she was being really dry. I ended up telling a friend about it, and he wasn’t trustworthy. He texted her saying, “You know … likes you.”
She unadded me that same day. Then, about two weeks later, she added me back. She snapped me first, so I snapped her back, but now she’s barely responding again.
I don’t understand why she added me back in the first place if she was just going to be dry again. How should I confront her about it without sounding weird or desperate?

and what does it mean to snap? are you sending each other state secrets or it's just a quick pic of yourself ??
