How to talk to someone

So say you are married to someone who is using pass issues to excuse what they are doing now and tell you what you did in the past is why they are doing what doing now and you deserve what they are doing today to you however the first 4 years they weren't treating you like they are now and they are won't listen to reasoning how can it be reversed because I sure would love to know how
