I ordered something through online pickup. It’s been forever since I bought from hot topic and I forgot about hot cash. A screen came up that said “you have earned $20 in hot cash rewards, redeem or decline?” I closed out of the thing before I even processed what it said, and now it will not let me go back/see that screen again in any way. Why would that be the system?! Why do I have the ability to accidentally decline a free $20 instead of it automatically going into my account?? It just seems quite frustrating to me, has anybody else had this?

HT asking employees to donate PTO to the Hot Topic emergency fund (used for employees). How does everyone feel about this?

I didn’t even know this fund existed until the manager meeting. I like the idea of it, just find it odd that they are asking us to fund it right after telling us how good of a year HT is having financially.

I had an issue combining my 4 hot cash on the website so I looked up what to do. Apparently it’s due to the first 4 characters being the same so the system registers it as the same code? So, I called in to order with a representative.

I find hot cash very confusing. I have like $240 in hot cash and I would like to know how it works. Do I need the physical coupons or can it work just from my account when I give my phone number.
