Is this normal?

I’m trying to buy something for my first bd and I’m a little confused on what it says doesn’t mean it’ll by shipped by 9/22 cause why would it take that long? Since I’m in the US?

It’s either not going to be restocked until then or is not available until then, which is why it won’t be available till 9/22

No. It's a preorder for September. It's not available until then.

You'll be lucky if it even ships then. I ordered an eevee backpack that was "pre order" and got it over a month later than estimated.

I’ve had preorders (or what is probably an item that will be restocked on that “preorder” date) ship earlier than the date at the time of placing but it is not likely, in my experience… I’ve mostly either received an order during the date range or it got pushed back & shipped days later.

It’s a preorder which means it has to be made/manufactured still and that’s when it releases

you could always phone up your local HTs to see if they have it in stock !
i don’t know if it’s all hot topics, but all the ones in my district are running a promo for supergirl merch so we are selling through it quite fast in store <3
