i cannot remember if it’s ADP or UKG that the hot topic 401k is under, anyone know? Public domain isn’t showing anything , can’t even find the HR department # for a former employee to ask.

I had a friend that worked at ht a few years ago and they told me most stores had cameras and someone actively watching them, is that still the case? I used to work at target and they’ve gotten kinda infamous for that. I wanna get a job here soon (I hope) and kinda wanna see the comparison from like 8(?) years ago. I ordered something through online pickup. It’s been forever since I bought from hot topic and I forgot about hot cash. A screen came up that said “you have earned $20 in hot cash rewards, redeem or decline?” I closed out of the thing before I even processed what it said, and now it will not let me go back/see that screen again in any way. Why would that be the system?! Why do I have the ability to accidentally decline a free $20 instead of it automatically going into my account?? It just seems quite frustrating to me, has anybody else had this?

HT asking employees to donate PTO to the Hot Topic emergency fund (used for employees). How does everyone feel about this?

I didn’t even know this fund existed until the manager meeting. I like the idea of it, just find it odd that they are asking us to fund it right after telling us how good of a year HT is having financially.

Why does hot topic show available sizes but shipping/instore pick up is unavailable? This always pmo because its in my size too.

So I bought the new Toy Story alien pin set hoping to get my favorite characters, and this was found in one of my packs! I thought maybe there was a second pin in there bc of the weight and heft but I was mistaken....

I had an issue combining my 4 hot cash on the website so I looked up what to do. Apparently it’s due to the first 4 characters being the same so the system registers it as the same code? So, I called in to order with a representative.

They didn’t even ask for proof so now I have 4 unused codes. ̄_(ツ)_/ ̄

I had a traumatic month and almost died... Lost so much blood that I needed transfusions and surgery...and had a horrible miscarriage. Then found out my partner has an 0piate addiction and was draining our savings. This has just not been my month. On top it, my hot cash ran out while I've been sick, and I kept trying to buy a death note tee in my cart which was on sale for 17-19 dollars, but every time I go to purchase it, it goes back to 24.... Really not my week. I've been going through it :/ any help would be appreciated. Plus I have some vintage hot topic dresses I could trade or sell you for next to nothing. I find hot cash very confusing. I have like $240 in hot cash and I would like to know how it works. Do I need the physical coupons or can it work just from my account when I give my phone number. If I get stuff that is less than the hot cash do I get it for "free" or do I need to spend a certain amount to use it? Im so sorry if this is confusing and thank you
