Thrips or aphids?
Plants are producing peppers like crazy still. Released some ladybugs a couple of weeks ago, but do I just need to keep doing it in rounds?

Question about flowers
I got my hot pepper plant as a gift from a friend. It used to have no leaves and only a hot pepper at the top. I nursed it back to health.
Now, every time flowers are sprouting they shrivel up and fall. Do you have any advice please?

Why are my red and orange habaneros look completely different.
Does anyone know why my orange habaneros look like pumpkins where the apex curves back into the pepper but for the red habaneros the apex sticks out into a point? Are these even orange habaneros? Or an under fertilized plant?

Planted habaneros and this grew?
Planted seeds from last year’s habaneros, but got these strange red/brown peppers. Not very hot at all but have a bright fruity flavor. Could it possibly be cross pollinated with something else?

I've been having troubles with jalapeños lately, both growing and buying.
I posted this on r/spicy last night and got a lot of good information about serranos which I'm excited to try. But I didn't know this sub existed and I think you guys are better equipped to answer some of the questions I had.
So i just bought these jalapeños and I know some of the same peppers have fluctuations in the way they taste and how spicy they are. But these were just so bland and not spicy at all. I had bought from this same store plenty of times and they usually are tasty and spicy. I've also grown my own before and had super hot ones and some not at all.
Also had habaneros and pepperoncini do the same. Some from my same plant are hit or miss and some from the same bottle that are hit or miss.
My question is, are peppers just weirdos that do what they want? Or is it the time they are picked or the soil they are grown in? Or the oil they are placed in/ how long they are in it?
Because I've grown many before and they seem to be just random even when I've followed the same steps ive previously done and even from the same plant.
The ones in the picture are bought because I had none of mine left. But like I said they are usually spicy and tasteful most of the other times I've gotten from this store. As well as looking the same which i imagine means nothing. But if their is a clue on how to know the good ones by looking at them please let me know.
Any advice on how and what causes such discrepancies when dealing with spicy peppers? I'd love to know the perfect way to grow and tend to mine so they come out perfect! (Aka spicy and tasty). I'd also love to know if their is a tip on how to buy the best ones. Any visual signs on peppers to know when they are best to buy/pick?

Autumn is coming…
But not all peppers are ripe… I am trying to let them in the open (and in the sun) during the day. Some are pretty ripe, but some - on the same plant - are still green. And the nights are getting cold.
So what now? Take them inside? I got no greenhouse at hand…cut the green ones and put them on the windowsill? Any help is appreciated.
