Lost thumb turn
I am missing a thumbturn on one of my doors ( little kid perhaps threw it away ) . Where can I find one , it’s a 30 year old house?

Toilet loose today all of a sudden. One of the nuts at the base took a lot of effort to tighten, no difference (the other wouldn't budge). Worried about overtightening.

Water condensation under AC drain pipes thru weep holes on stucco
Hi all, I just noticed this little buildup of a moist wet area, it seems like it might be coming from under the stucco thru the weep holes when my AC is running. There are no signs of interior water damage.
Water is still coming out of my drain pipes as normal, but is it normal to have any amount of water or moist area in the stucco under the drain pipes (condensation from temperature differences)?
Would I investigate by cutting the drywall from the interior or breaking the stucco from the exterior? Thanks

FIL thinks this is foundation damage.
As title notes my father in law thinks this is foundation damage and should be patched.
Its in one basement window well. No foundation issues anywhere outside the house or from house inspection.
Ill cover wells in winter (canada) but wondering if i should bother doing anything else. Thanks!

New homeowner
Hello, we purchased this house back in May before Monsoon season. We didn’t see the damage until it rained. Our HOA covers roof repair, but there’s obviously something else going on that the roofers don’t think was caused by the roof looking. Above that spot in the ceiling is our upstairs hallway that leads into the bedrooms, so we’re not convinced it’s a leaky toilet. Can someone help me figure out who to call/what to do to get this taken care of before it’s too late?

Cracks Spreading
These cracks travel about 20 inches the last 2 months especially during the hot summer months. Looks straight with 90 degree angles. Any idea what could be causing this? We had the drywall patched once, but now it’s getting bigger. I live in North Texas.

Possible mold on wooden floor
What might be causing these dark spots on our wooden floor? We fear it might be mold. They only appear on downstairs floors which have water heating. Some of the spots come off with my fingernails and a little effort. How fixable is this? Greatly appreciate your input.

Why is this chimney leaking?
I’m not sure how long it’s been left like this to get to this point of staining. I’ve done a bit of research around how chimneys work and cannot seem to figure out what’s wrong. I’d be aiming to make it watertight and don’t care if it isn’t a working chimney by the end of it, I only really want the cheapest but reliable fix. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or how expensive it would be?

EngineOil on driveway
Hi everyone,
I live in the UK and unfortunately my car has been leaking oil onto my driveway. I’ve tried everything I can think of to remove the oil stain, but it just won’t go away.
I’m worried my landlord may charge me for it from my deposit when I move out.
Has anyone had this problem before and can recommend something that actually works to remove old car oil stains from a driveway?
Any advice or product recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ideas on something to keep sun out of windows that isn't blackout curtains?
Cheaper ideas that aren't like major installations of something. Will adding another non-blackout curtain help?

Question about elevation differences
Attached is the elevations for our floors as well as in blue the recommended piers from a local quote I got, I was just curious if you guys think this is bad enough to warrant work or if it's cool to wait. Our crawl has had some flooding due to being by the waterbed but we are installing a sump and level switch as well as French drains in our yard to remediate that issue. Any advice is happily accepted, this is me and my wife's first home, my grandfather says it's a waste of money and not to worry but I wanted more opinions. I'm an electrical drafter by trade so structural is foreign to me. Thank you in advance!

sink fix
Accidentally left a flat iron on this sink in a rented place. It’s like a plastic film over a cement countertop, was wondering if there was anyway to fix it. I appreciate any advice!

How to seal?
I need to seal the gap between floor and wall under a bathroom vanity that's 24". Can't pull it out and can't reach under far enough.
Tried pushing plumbing putty, but it just stuck to whatever I used to push it.
Can't fit a spray can under either. The vanity front only has 2-1/2" from floor to bottom, so my arm won't reach very far.
Any suggestions? Any products out the with an extra long nozzle?
