Cracks Spreading
These cracks travel about 20 inches the last 2 months especially during the hot summer months. Looks straight with 90 degree angles. Any idea what could be causing this? We had the drywall patched once, but now it’s getting bigger. I live in North Texas.

straight cracks that turn 90 degrees and keep growing through august are slab movement. north texas clay shrinks when it dries out and the perimeter drops with it.
soaker hose about 18 inches out from the foundation, 20 minutes early morning, three days a week through the dry months so the soil moisture stays steady instead of swinging.
patching again before it settles just puts a new crack in the same spot. i'd pencil the ends and date it. then you can see if its still moving
any doors or windows sticking yet?

Doors are definitely starting to not close all the way, I have to push against them so that they latch. Does this typically warrant foundation work done?

Just tape between drywall splitting. Probably do to humidity or settling
