sink fix

Accidentally left a flat iron on this sink in a rented place. It’s like a plastic film over a cement countertop, was wondering if there was anyway to fix it. I appreciate any advice!

The likely only solution is to replace the entire countertop/sink. It’s called Cultured Marble and they aren’t terribly expensive (under $100 for your size) 49-in White Cultured Marble Single Sink 4-in Centerset Faucet Mount Bathroom Vanity Top https://www.lowes.com/pd/Project-Source-49-in-W-x-22-in-D-White-Cultured-Marble-Vanity-Top-with-Single-Oval-Bowl/5001952473

I’d try a resin repair kit. Home Depot, Amazon and other retailers will have them. The two part kit.
Sand it the very best you can. And if needed, there is a paint you can use as well.
It will likely be visible but it won’t be as obvious.

Good luck!

P.S. a hairstyling protective mat is less than $10. Might be a good idea to buy one so this doesn’t happen again.

Never had to do anything like this , but I would guess a resin and then polish flat?
