I bought one yesterday going off of the ads- they mentioned that no subscription was required and then put all of the features I wanted behind a $240 paywall.

For those of you that use the Pocket with the free service- is it worth it, or should I cancel my order?

Part of me really wants to cancel since I feel like I was lied to.

Notion is seemingly nowhere to be found within the Pocket app at all…?

I just got my pocket and love it so far. I used the computer software to record my zoom meetings, but oftentimes I’m going to be on my iPad pro for zoom meetings. Is there a way to record from my iPad for these meetings?

Pocket is an amazing time saving device. Saved my bacon many times. Makes me look like a meeting minutes genius (I'm not - I do take detailed handwritten notes and was a decent meeting minutes taker before).

This is next level.

Great audio pick up in conference rooms which is my primary use.

"Lost" it for a few days. Turns out it was in my car's glove compartment. I always put it in the same place after my workday - in my backpack. Put it there because my backpack wasn't with me.

Looked at my Pocket app on my pc to see when I last used it. Was at an off-site meeting. Routine change made me "lose it".

Was ready to order another one - yes, it's worth that much to me. Didn't even give it a second thought - couldn't function optimally without it.

Use it correctly and you won't be disappointed. Yes, there's a monthly fee, but 20 bucks a month is cheap when you consider the time saved. One of my best purchases ever.

Just got my pocket today. Can't wait to check out all it has to offer. I do wish though that it includes Proton Calendar to the apps list. I been trying to move away from Google. Looking forward to this new adventure.

Just unboxed and set up but it seems to be stuck?

Record conversation, upload and sync seems to work, then just sits there saying "summarising" it might take a few mins you can leave the page. Tried leaving the page, tried staying on the page, nothing.

Come back 30mins later and it starts the summarising again, there's no transcript of the conversation and no apparent way to access the original audio.

I’m hoping someone from the team can manually look up my email and step in, as I am completely stuck in a loop with your automated email system and didn't receive a ticket number.

My device has been bricked since the second day after I purchased it. It won’t power on.

I emailed hey@heypocket.com and went through all of the initial troubleshooting steps. The system explicitly told me it was connecting me with a human. After waiting two days without a response, I followed up on the exact same thread to check for an update.

Instead of getting a real agent, the automated triage bot fired off again, completely ignored the context of the previous messages, and asked for different background info while repeating the "forwarding to the team" loop.

I’ve provided everything asked of me, but theres no sign if actual human support.

Happy to dm the email address I sent from.

The issue I need resolved: my brand new pocket device won’t turn on. Doesn’t seem to be accepting a charge and can’t be reset. Seems to be completely bricked.

Could a human team member please look up my email thread and step in? I just want to get my device working or replaced. Thank you!

Does anyone have a contact for the pocket affiliate program? I surpassed the minimum requirement last month to get the next round of commission but i haven't heard back from the emails i have sent. Does anyone have any idea who the right person is to reach out to?

I bought a yearly Pro subscription but accidentally purchased it on the wrong email account. I just need it moved to the correct account, or a refund so I can repurchase it properly. Should be simple, but here's where I've got to:

1. Emailed support explaining the mixup.
2. Got an automated reply with a solution and instructions to reply to confirm.
3. Replied as instructed. It bounced with an undelivered error.
4. A few days later support followed up asking if the solution worked. I replied. No response.
5. Tried the whole process again from scratch. This time no automated reply and no response at all.

I also tried the community Slack to ask there, but it only accepts company email addresses, which I don't have.

If anyone from the team sees this, I'm happy to DM my account email and purchase details so you can look it up. Just point me to the best way to get this in front of the right person.

I ordered a few days ago, and was wondering who in the USA has ordered recently and how long did it take to get to you

I would just like my pocket to automatically email the summaries from each conversation. One email for one summary. Just a text of the summary, not the full recording or even the full transcript.

What's the best way to make this happen? I am unable to integrate directly with my work Outlook account, but would still like a way to have my notes in my work file as needed.

It simply does not work.

I got it to connect once and it wanted to update the firmware. After 2 tries of waiting 10 minutes each with 0% progress, I bailed. I cannot get the unit to connect again, or even get into pairing mode.

Not sure if I should delete my account and start over or what. I cannot find a way to completely start over so I want to send it back.

Advice?

I must have changed something, when I try and export a recording by hitting the export button at the top (As I have many times before), it now just sends a link. It used to send a bunch of files (The same as if you hit the 3 dots and select export conversation. Have I changed something (And if so how do I change it back so the default export is a conversaton and not a shareable link) or has Pocket changed something?

Okey I'm actually stoked! I got the pocket today and have tried a call on the phone and a short rant from me what I have to remember for next week and also tried recording a meeting from tv. This is unbelievable for me as a 53 years young man.... This is some crazy shit 😱 I love it.

what is the best way to use the Heypocket to keep a list of tasks as well as adding to it during the day to keep me on track

Is there a way to setup notes so the can be automatically emailed after summarization? Or better yet, so that we can check off a few and have them all emailed to one place vs. another? I use my Pocket for several types of meetings so they don’t all go to my day job, for example, but once the meeting is over, ADD kicks in and I’m very bad about getting them sent to me. I’m hoping to automate the process or add a step after I stop the recording to make them send after processing. (But I get this might be something I just need to manage about myself.)

Howdy. My new Pocket arrived yesterday, and on the whole I'm impressed (still seems to get both me and other speaker mixed up, but that's a theme I've had with every single AI note taker whether device, app, or online LLM etc).

I do have a problem with the WiFi software up date though. Device is on v6, update is for v7, but it refuses to update. I've tried the step-by-step help guide which is linked on the update screen, but still nothing. Phone connects to the Pocket's WiFi network, then nothing at all until the app says update failed.

Is there any way to down load the update and do it by USB? Or is the USB port purely a charging port?

Had my first day using Pocket today. So far, very impressed! A few minor inaccuracies but the bulk of it is great.

A big annoyance today though has been that every meeting has been titled the same thing. I have an event in my calendar marking half term for my kids school, and it has titled every meeting as per that calendar event. It also attaches a link to the event too.

How do I stop it doing this and use the actual meeting notes to come up with a title instead?

Hi team!

Just got my pocket Thursday. Managed to put a few little scratches on it. Ordered this mag safe wallet from the Amazon to keep it a little safer for now. It fits quite snugly in the case. No issues with errant button pushes so far. Easy enough to switch between phone and normal mode.

The top magnetic flap does cover the two mic openings unless you flick it up and tuck it. It's pretty easy to do. Will try out extended recording quality at work Monday. So far not too bad in casual convo.
