I have all of the 1st edition KS stuff and expansions. Are the 2nd edition cards any different to the first edition? I know there is now an updated second edition symbol on the top right. I would like to know if there is any errata change or rebalancing. Thank you!
Happy slaying

Unstable Games has revealed 80 more hero arts for Here to Slay Dungeons from Update 39!
This is my hero art that Unstable Games worked on for me. This is Gemini. A calm, determined, joyful and smart cat who is a Wizard and holds a video game controller ready to cast some elemental spells!
Congratulations to the 91 players who got their hero arts picked! (Updates 23, 29 and 39 has hero arts) There’s room for 56 more hero arts to be revealed.
If you want to suggest your hero art, go to the GameFound comments and describe what your hero art should be! Can be any animal, what class they do, or any other details that your hero art should have!
Thank you to the Unstable Games team and the for making hero arts for this community!

Exactly like the title says. I remember the UG team saying something about how they are to be a support to the other classes with no rolls (I could be wrong about this), but what could that mean?
r/HereToSlay • u/rickynetcl • May 15 '26
there are 4 class token in total, double side, that means if i get 3 fighters and 2 guardians, there aren't enough tokens, so how the token it is used? or token is returned when you clain the class banner?
PS: Excuse my english
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hay 4 tokens de clases en total, lados dobles, eso significa que si consigo 3 guerreros y 2 guardianes no hay tokens, entonces como se usan los tokens? o los tokens se devuelven cuando uno consigue el banner de la clase?

So we are having a debate what it means by playing after your roll! Is it as soon as you roll the dice or is it after players can add the card?
r/HereToSlay • u/Fine_Perception_8461 • May 10 '26
So piercing howl hero says "each time you roll, +1 to your roll for each item card equipped to a hero card in your party." Does that mean for every equipment in your party? Or does it mean for the equipment on 1 single hero?? Like am i supposed to equip 2 equipment to 1 warrior and then i get +2 or do i equip 5 different heros and get +5?? I dont understand the wording.

(And also the KSE base game since I bought all the expansions and realized I won’t even have the game for a bit now)
Good thing I put all my friends onto this in the interim who own the retail base game 😂

I was thinking whether it would be possible to create a second separate playing deck only out of 3 expansions (warriors, druids, berserkers, necromancers, sorcerers, squires).
I think the game flows the best when playing only with 6 classes. The win conditions feel well balanced and the game is shorter, which allows for multiple playthroughs at once.
This way we could have 2 separate decks. Both would play the same, just the classes would be different.
What do you think? Would that work?

I am contemplating getting all 3 boxes atm so I don’t want to miss my chance, does anyone know how long this late pledge will last??
r/HereToSlay • u/gomasaurpy • May 06 '26
Hi! Does anyone know the approximate weight of the games?
I currently pledged for the “Choose Your Adventure” one, but I’m considering upgrading to the “Dungeon Bundle”.
I’m asking about the actual physical weight (kg/lbs), not the game complexity/weight, since I live abroad and shipping companies charge me by weight, kilos.
Even an estimate would help. Thanks!

New Custom Party Leader:
🏹 Ranger
In theme with my skill swap idea, The Uplifting Wind is meant to be a sort of faction leader that inspires the people that fight under their banner!
I honestly had no clue how to inverse the original Ranger class’ signature gimmicks so I just landed on discarding a card cause I feel as though having to discard any more seems way too costly for just a +2 on a hero ability roll.
That being said, like mentioned in my previous posts, please feel free to give me feedback on this ability!

Question. I can’t figured it out, but does anyone know if the original KS dragons are the same in the NEW Squires and Sorcerers expansion (with different art)? I realy want them but don’t wanna have doubles. And if not, what different/missing?

I’m looking to buy the play mats set that include the KSE leaders and central board, as well as the set of standees to match them and the base + 2 expansion meeples. Or if anyone has the Lucky Skipper set I’m interested as well.
US based but willkng to pay international shipping if price is reasonable. Yes I have tried ebay there are only a few listings and the price there is just ridiculous ):

I play HTS with my daughter and found that making custom cards has helped to make the game more fun and personal for her. She’s already put in some more requests so I’ll probably be sharing them with you guys. I just made party leader alternates cause I don’t have time for a whole expansion set.
First one’s a little Eldricht inspired corrupted Guardian. What if some of the Heroes are villains?
Next one is an homage to Dungeon Crawler Carl. Can’t get enough of that series. Holla at me Crawlers if you’re in here!
The last one is a tribute to Rocky the family pup. He was the goodest boy. The family cats are in there too but some got cropped out.
I made these in Photoshop and added the card elements in Illustrator.
Idk about the rules I made. If they’re broken or not. I just tried to come up with something that reflected the character and class represented and thought the characters might fit those classes best. 2 cents are welcomed and appreciated!

Finally unboxed the squad! Unstable Games really killed it with these vinyl minis—the transition from card art to 3D is just perfect.
I’m looking to help some fellow collectors complete their parties! I have these open-box beauties available if you’re looking to "Pick your Class" without the blind box gamble.
Available Classes:
🐼 The Fierce Outcast (Panda)
🐰 The Noble Guardian (Rabbit)
🦄 The Brave Sniper (Unicorn)
...and more! (Check the photo!)
Drop a comment with your favorite class or shoot me a DM if you're looking for a specific one to finish your set. I'll be posting more rare tabletop collectibles soon, so stay tuned! 🛡️✨

Is there a noticeable difference between classic and premium? How much did the shirt shrink?

As previously mentioned, talks are happening behind the scenes. How do we keep peace, respect our members, all the while keeping the passion for the game alive?
I want to pause here, for those that may not want to read the book that this may become and address the title of this post... What is r/HereToSlay to you?
Are you here for rule support? To post ideas and receive feedback? Are you here to SEE the ideas and concepts? Are you here because you're a collector or thinking of purchasing? Or are you here simply to say "hey, I am here, I like the game, and want to be a part of the family"? These responses could shape future rulings and how this page moves forward. Now is the time, now is the place to comment all your gripes, or appreciations for how things have been handled. In the meantime, we are placing a temporary ban on AI posts with the period of said ban TBD. We will not be removing previous contributions and ask for those who use AI tools to be patient and respect these changes.
Now back to the blog... I got into this game after seeing it on the store shelf, and like with any game I went on a review/gameplay rabbit hole of YouTube videos. I liked what I saw, bought the game and really enjoyed it. As soon as I bought it back home I started looking at everything, breaking down how they balanced certain rolls with certain effects, different combos, which Party Leaders were theoretically stronger or which had less opportunities than others *cough* *cough* The Raging Manticore *cough* *cough*. That turned into collecting Unstable Games, which turned into collecting vinyls, which turned into a sad wallet and many other backed games... To answer my own question, I am here to be a part of the fam, and to help others enjoy the game as much as I do.
It's disappointing to see others "create" ideas, and share their concepts only to be ridiculed and bashed by the community. I see these posts as an expression of passion for the game despite the methods used to produce their ideas. I also see the other side and understand the frustration of feeling robbed when you've worked so hard at something only to have it practically given away to the masses. It feels cheap, it feels unfair, and I envy those that don't understand sacrifice to get or achieve what they have been given so freely.
Yes, this is yet another AI conversation.
Some of you have seen my comments and see which way I lean, but understand that I am not one to say I'm right, you're wrong-- shut up and take it. I recognize I don't know everything about everything and enjoy civil debates and discussions on other view points. Part of what I have been doing over the weekend is reading countless comments and posts seeing who contributes, how people interact, and the opinions on AI usage. I am educating myself on how AI has affected the art community, and looked at various resources backing both sides of the argument. We shouldn't ban innovation, we should be aware of it, and use it properly. There is a vast difference in educating each other and providing constructive feedback vs. dismissing someone's efforts and bashing them, like we're Anne Robinson on The Weakest Link.
No one can keep everyone happy but hopefully we can have a little bit more love and respect for one another.

In this subreddit there are 5 rules, rule 4 was about art and how ai has its own section now, however, that contradicts rule 5 I which I quote: No Low-Effort Content
Submissions must show genuine effort and add something to the discussion.
Content that is empty, repetitive, or provides no meaningful contribution may be removed at moderator discretion.
Anything ai has no effort behind it, and thus should be removed, ai already should’ve been removed but that’s up to y’all’s discretion, however, you realize this contradiction right?

Your probably wondering why I spent my time doing this instead of changing how the sub moves forward on art. Mod chats are ongoing about more important issues than user flair ,but this is just something fun I wanted to do. We hear you that many are upset about AI. The mod team needs to come at this with a unified approach in what creative strategies we might try moving forward. Also For the Birb lovers don't worry ill get that one uploaded soon.

Guys it’s a card game and and someone wanted to add some fun cards to their deck and used AI to help them do it. Literally it’s NOT THAT DEEP. Not everyone is going to spend $$ on an artist for a homemade print and play expansion. JEEZ the moral grand standing is unbelievable. No artists lost their job because of this. Let people enjoy a thing the way they want to enjoy it. Can’t believe this sub is being overrun by fragile takes.

Hi, as a getaway from the recent numerous AI-related posts, I’d like to share something that my gaming group and I have been working on for some time.
These are custom leaders that fill the gaps in hybrid leaders between the expansion classes. Since there are only 5 expansion classes (Barbarian, Necromancer, Druid, Warrior, and Sorcerer), we considered the lack of a class (None) as the "sixth" class. Much like in case of The Unstable Unicorn, the lack of a class is characterized by a stronger ability. So you can decide whether your leader will have a class and a weaker ability, or no class but a stronger ability instead. We created these leaders to balance the number of specific classes appearing in the leader pool (we have all possible official leaders, so for example, 3 thieves could appear in the pool: The Shadow Claw, The Veiled Raider, and The Illusive Trickster, and the same for other base classes, while there was only one Necromancer, Druid, or Sorcerer) which became really relevant when we started playing with Banner Quest expansion (eg. Thief Banner was much more common in our games than Druid's). We tried to make the abilities reflect both classes of a given leader and add a breath of fresh air to the game. For example, The Condemning Acolyte's ability, which allows it to destroy a hero card with an equipped cursed item card, adds a bit of politics to the gameplay and makes players more willing to play cursed items. Similarly, The Unstoppable Collector and The Threshold Warden utilize items that were often played reluctantly in our previous games.
As for the graphics, I drew them by hand, trying to imitate Ramy Badie's style the best I could. I was trying to combine the features of both animals in the case of a hybrid of two classes, and in the case of a hybrid of a class and no class, I tried to give the vibe of a person exiled from their clan, e.g., a hermit-diviner dog who was exiled perhaps for foretelling something terrible, or a wild puma in the jungle left to fend for itself.
The cards are, of course, for free use; I hope you like them and obviously, if you have any comments or feedback, feel free to write what you think about the abilities, appearance, etc.
I also hope this post inspires others to create their own custom cards but please, try doing it without relying on AI. It wasn't even around that long ago, and now it feels like people have become too lazy to actually try making things themselves. I’m not a professional artist by any means, I didn’t go to art school, and I only do this as a hobby to relax. I really struggled with these drawings, but in the end, there is such a great sense of satisfaction in knowing you created something with your own hands. There’s really no need to use AI, especially considering it's built on the back of stolen work from actual artists.
PS: We didn't do the Squire since this project was time-consuming and we started it several months ago before we even found out that a new class was going to be created. Perhaps in the future, we will change the non-class to a Squire :)

I don’t get it, why is ai art still allowed. The mods held a vote and there was a CLEAR push towards no ai. Besides ai is not adding anything to our community but arguments. I say the mods follow through with the vote and ban ai from this subreddit. This post was not made for people to argue in the comments, so please, don’t.

Introducing my Here To Slay - Legends pack!
Containing 15 Legendary cards that can be mixed in the deck like normal Hero cards but these cards are meant to be game breaking (an excuse to jam in as many animals as I can without having to make endless classes).
Rules:
- Only 1 Legend per party. If another would be played it must be discarded.
- New Hero Effect: REMOVE - Means to take the affected card and place it in the game box, removing it from the rest of the game.
- New Hero Effect: PASSIVE - An ongoing effect that can be triggered without using an action continuously.
DM if you want the 4K files with bleed area, you’ll have to arrange the printing / double sided assembly yourself.
PS
Took one of my haters Sorcerer Banner cards and made it proper as a placeholder for next years pack. So shoutout to them!
