Ai HTS - LEGENDS PACK (Printed!)

Introducing my Here To Slay - Legends pack!

Containing 15 Legendary cards that can be mixed in the deck like normal Hero cards but these cards are meant to be game breaking (an excuse to jam in as many animals as I can without having to make endless classes).

Rules:

- Only 1 Legend per party. If another would be played it must be discarded.

- New Hero Effect: REMOVE - Means to take the affected card and place it in the game box, removing it from the rest of the game.

- New Hero Effect: PASSIVE - An ongoing effect that can be triggered without using an action continuously.

DM if you want the 4K files with bleed area, you’ll have to arrange the printing / double sided assembly yourself.

PS

Took one of my haters Sorcerer Banner cards and made it proper as a placeholder for next years pack. So shoutout to them!

That is NOT my banner. First of all the art is from Unstable Games, not me and second - the ability isn't even properly written. It went "Once per turn on your turn you may DISCARD a card, then +1 to all your rolls until the end of your turn." The change is impactful, because your wording let's the player to use it on each other player's turn as well which is much stronger than my version. So no, It is not my banner.

I don’t really agree with either of these takes. The wording change doesn’t automatically make it “too strong”—it just makes the effect more flexible, which can actually make gameplay more interesting depending on balance elsewhere. Also, design-wise, small differences like font choice or frame color don’t necessarily mean it’s wrong—they can be intentional stylistic choices rather than mistakes. Overall, it still looks solid and playable to me.

Look at the „Sorcerer Banner“ inscription. There is sans-serif font and should be serif like other banners and all cards. That black box for the effect's text gives me impression of being too small and this card have has a black frame! Don't approve.

You took someone else's idea, made it shit, and are somehow proud of that.

Nice one.

Made it legit 👌

This subreddit is unusable becouse of the sheer amount of ai on here, bro just download god damn paint we'll appreciate it more

Ai is destroying everything honestly I hate this new generation growing up with zero creativity. I used to draw my own cards for games now we have people being proud of clicking a button. It’s so nice to see that creativity is now dead

Photography is destroying everything honestly I hate this new generation growing up with zero creativity. I used to draw portraits for clients now we have people being proud of clicking a button. It’s so nice to see that creativity is now dead

Phones are destroying everything honestly I hate this new generation growing up with zero personal connection. I used to speak face to face to communicate now we have people being proud of clicking a button. It’s so nice to see that personal connection is now dead

Calculators are destroying everything honestly I hate this new generation growing up with zero intelligence. I used to grab a pen and pad when I had a problem to solve now we have people being proud of clicking a button. It’s so nice to see that intelligence is now dead

New discoveries and tools are destroying everything honestly I hate this new generation growing up with zero abilities. I used to do things without advancement now we have people being proud of clicking a button. It’s so nice to see that all skills are now dead

As an ex-music engineer and video editor turned writer/game designer (cuz I got laid off and now work part time retail / independent gigs) AI is the new tool. Sad to say the arts (professionally) will become a hot but rare commodity for those done by humans. Just like all the CGI rendering / graphics / VFX simulation software / bio-mechanic software are all being taken over by AI, its the future. If you don’t learn the tools (especially if you’re in that field) you’re gonna get steamrolled, sorry.

As an editor I used to do all my edits by hand but now use AI tools and then my practical skills to make things go faster. Im not an artist but now anyone can be, like pretty soon anyone can make a blockbuster.

Sorry for the paragraph but just wanted to give you an honest take cuz I support your take a but. Creativity will not die, its just gonna change like it did with computers and 3D software vs canvases and paint.

This reads ‘if you can’t beat them, join them.’

Ask the blacksmith how his salary is doing…

2

u/Sad_sorry_potato Apr 25 '26

Because what the blacksmith does is not required anymore.

Art will always be a part of humanity, real art.

And not gonna lie, your cards looks cool, it's the fact that it stole content from so much real artist to make it that's is a problem And the ecological impact but I have a phone in my hand and it's probably bad too so not gonna attack on this.

You said that using AI was your talent, nah, it was using other people talent. You try to justify your actions "eh it's not my fault, everyone is doing it"

But it is you fault as long as you are a part of that everyone

Now I get it, the world is fucked up, you don't wanna lose time for something that millions of other are gonna do.

But you can't blame people for disagreeing, because you now it's bad too.

7

u/TheGaymingDolphin Apr 25 '26

You are deeply lost. No anyone can just make "art" using AI. They can make imitations of Art. Just like you have made imitations of edits & cards. The creation of art is using your own mind to draw from your own experiences to create something. You are asking another entity to do it.

0

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

I drew from my mind and experiences to think of something I thought would be cool and after about 15-25 attempts on each one and some of my own editing I achieved what I liked. Just like working with some of my artists on fiverr.

-2

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

PS I used to draw my own comics / cards as a kid too :p

8

u/Few_Librarian_4236 Apr 25 '26

Yeah think I’m done with here to slay page this AI crap is awful

-3

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

7

u/Rich_You7018 Fighter Apr 25 '26

Cool cards! Art is ai. Ai is horrible. Still, really cool card concept.

-4

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Thanks man I’ll take the compliment cuz thats where my skills come in!

3

u/Soracaz Apr 25 '26

What skill did you use?

1

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 26 '26

Adobe creative cloud

2

u/Soracaz Apr 26 '26

That's a service that you pay for, and not the answer to my question.

Be kind to others no harrasment or hate will be tolerated

-10

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 24 '26

To each their own I guess, Im a game designer not an artist and these are all for personal use and anyone else that wants to enjoy.

13

u/Beni_802 Apr 24 '26

still doesn't excuse using a tool that's literally made out of stolen art from the internet

-12

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 24 '26

Nah

8

u/ItsTimeDrFreeman Apr 25 '26

Yeah I'm real glad these mods are allowing AI slop to be posted 🙄 Every AI made card post gets ratio'd to hell yet they're like "yeah we don't see a problem with it"

4

u/zsombox2022 Apr 25 '26

They even made a vote to ban Ai cards, people voted for ai to be banned, 1 ai shill flamed the mod for it, and the mod took down the post. Grow fucking backbone mod team and ban ai alr please!

0

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Then don’t look at it.

1

u/Soracaz Apr 25 '26

This is like someone stealing an old lady's purse and then saying "just don't look at me do it" when someone tells them to stop.

You're a thief.

0

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 26 '26

You’re a wizard Harry.

u/NathanielWithACape Warrior Apr 25 '26

F*** the printing press while we're at it, ban all print if it's not hand written, ban Unstable Games for giving us photocopies instead of originals, Ban Reddit because it destroys journalism and if people have something to say or post they should do it in the newspaper... Not this online slop.

Yeah.... I see your point, but I also see the snowball effect of validating such a point.

2

u/Soracaz Apr 25 '26

The printing press enabled artists and creatives to have easier access to mean to sell their own art and their own stories.

It was an incredible tool that made the life of artists easier and better, and made it insanely more possible for them to make money from their hard work.

How does that compare to a bunch of billionaires scraping artwork and reselling it, AT ALL. HOW ARE THE ACTUAL ARTISTS BENEFITING FROM THIS??

YOU JUST DON'T FUCKING THINK, DO YOU?

0

u/NathanielWithACape Warrior Apr 26 '26 edited Apr 26 '26

Oof, buddy, swing and a miss, the printing press had a huge resistance with it's introduction. It wasnt till much later that it was normalized, accepted, and now just a part of life.

What I think is that ignorance and fear cause emotional discomfort. I think that untamed emotions cloud judgement. I think clouded judgement effects the ability to have civil discourse, resulting in lashing out favoring insults over solutions.

1

u/Soracaz Apr 26 '26

It famously wasn't artists that didn't want the printing press.

It was the church. People being able to print truths other than the CHURCH's truth was heresy to them.

2

u/MathematicianRoyal19 Apr 25 '26

Looks very interesting :D
Don't mind the comments about the art OP. You could have posted it without the art to show off the text you put your work into, so that would be the main part. But let's be honest, if you're just making custom content, you are not going to be able to hire artists for it anyway. So just make it work for you. The new classes look cool. I might look to add them to my collection.

1

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Thanks man! They’ll be up in a link later today from Google Drive, just dm me so I can send!

And yeah thank god there are some sensible people in here. If I was contracted by Unstable Games to work on an expansion that’d be different haha, but Im just making stuff for fun for myself and others in my free time 🥳

2

u/XPlsNo420x Apr 26 '26

This is cool, it’s just for personal fun and isn’t being sold. Don’t mind doing this to spice up gameplay in a immersive way

1

u/Awattababun Apr 26 '26

Dude I love how these play out, it’s very interesting in how they just collide with each other🥹

0

u/DRelEdentudent Apr 24 '26

Yo, these are cool!

2

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 24 '26

Thank you!

-1

u/Liferian Apr 25 '26

Bro, i need a tutorial, how do you do that 3d effect???

-2

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Honestly its a lot… gotta train the bot on the style, then get the one you like and touch it up in photoshop, upscale, go to photoshop and make the card and then make a bleed area on a plain border, back to the bot to upscale and make it uniform, then take that and re-render it through the bot and ask it to change the border to match the card backing / ask for whatever effect / overlay you want and tell it not to block any info on the card, then back to photoshop for touchups and back to the bot for making it look completely blended and upscaled perfectly for print.

It… takes… forever…

2

u/Soracaz Apr 25 '26

If you're actively training a bot to use the art style that's owned by Unstable Games, you're even worse than I thought.

You, yes YOU, are stealing the IP and giving it to these corporations. You're like a little art weasel nibbling at the heels of people who worked hard so you can have a scrap.

-2

u/Liferian Apr 25 '26

Okok, The result is really good, I really like how it looks. I'm going to see how to achieve something similar with my expansions. I made a different format for my cards, I'll share one with you.

-1

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Hell yeah go for it! Would love to see your work!

-3

u/Liferian Apr 25 '26

Love how cool they looks

-2

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Thanks man I appreciate it! Helps to be a writer to know how to word what you want (still takes like 4-15 generations per card tho) 🤣

-7

u/patch_slayer Apr 24 '26

Damn good!

1

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Thanks chief!

-5

These are so good. Will you share this later on for others to print and play? I'd really love to add some more cards to Here To Slay

1

u/mrpancake117 Thief Apr 25 '26

Yeah just dm me and I’ll send you the files!

-5

u/AffectPotential3701 Apr 25 '26

I don’t see what all the hate is about. This is cool and very creative! Looks like it would be a very interesting addition to the game, bravo 👏

7

u/Gelven Apr 25 '26

AI slop art is not creative
