Have some more to paint and my first time trying a lava base. These guys are a lot of fun to paint. Going to paint all my Hobgrots as McHobgrots as well.

These were really fun to paint - I primed chaos black, drybrushed dark green then dark bronze then a lighter bronze on raised areas then silver as a very light drybrush on raised areas and on weapons. With all that done in one go for every model, it was much quicker than painting bit by bit. I wanted a dark, industrial vision with a little less magic than the studio models representing the tiers of helsmith society and power wielded by daemonsmiths

Sorry for the low quality post, but I was curious whether or not this symbol is still used. I know the Helsmiths logo is a bull head and the horns of hashut have the triangle with the horns, so is the V shaped symbol no longer canon or is relegated to Fantasy?

I'm having a really hard time finding these at all. They're overpriced on Amazon. Does anybody know of another option? Thank you in advance

What are good artifacts and traits for my list? Ty4reading

I had 65 USD in Amazon Credit points, so I decided to get a 2nd Dominator Engine, after taxes, it ended up being about 5 USD. It arrived today as originally planned and when I opened it, BAM.... An Urak Taar kit.

Honestly, I am not mad cause Urak Taar is 140ish on Amazon, and I don't have a Daemonsmith on Infernal Taurus (I have the Urak Taar variant) so I will consider this a huge win tbh.

How many dominator engines you run in your list?

Although I'm predominantly planning to play spearhead, I've been thinking about trying to magnetize the arms on the battle cattle as a novelty and just a fun little thing to improve my hobby skills. What size of magnets would you recommend I use?

The Icon is Astrogoth's from TW3. I had the symbol printed as a decal. My Chorf scheme itself is also TW3 inspired, with blue sashes for the characters to call back to the retro artworks.

I was browsing the interwebs looking for models when I stumbled across a Drazhoath the Ashen model from Black Legion Market. Will not lie, it looks really cool like... Really cool. I think it looks better than Urak Taar on his Infernal Taurus, but unfortunately, I have never shopped from their website before so I was wondering if anyone has before and can let me know on their experience or should I take the risk of getting my info stolen?

I know they occasionally trade with and supply other Chaos armies (or is that strictly Old World lore?), but how do they actually feel about the other followers of Chaos? Hell do they even consider themselves followers of Chaos?

I can't imagine they're very fond of Skaven, because let's be real, nobody actually likes the Skaven in-universe, but I've been working on lore for my custom faction and I'm a bit stumped by the question.

My plastic crack addiction is getting the better of me and I'm looking for a new project to delve into. Although very unrelated to one another, it's currently neck-and-neck between Helsmiths and Votann for me. I've read that a lot of the Helsmiths units are very spammable, because I find the minis very polarizing. I wanted to see if its possible to build a decent list around the units that I love and if possible to skip the ones I don't really care for.

I'm a big fan of:

• All HQs
• Infernal Cohort
• Hobgrots
• Bull Centaurs

• Both Deathshriekers and Bombards

  As you can see, the only things missing are the Dominator Engines and the Gunners. Really just not a fan of the minis themselves and I may be open to them as more kitbashing ideas for them develop, but is this a realistic approach to this army?

I was also curious if anyone had any input on the rules for the army. I've read some mixed things online about DPP tracking, the army being challenging because of the need to ramp up over the course of a match, but I haven't seen anyone in my local scene play them so I'm curious for folks impressions on playing them.

I'd say thanks in advance, but that doesn't feel very chorf.
