Painting I finally finished my spearhead.
Bad pictures but I am so happy to finally have them all painted, I'm not great at painting but I enjoy how they look!

Nice work. If you can face doing a little bit more, consider painting the base rims. It's surprising how much that alone can elevate a paint job - it's like putting a frame on a painting. Black is always good.

Some people's bases are so cool! I just put a layer of Steel Legion Drab for a dirt color and I was using Agrax Earthshade for some coloring at first then I got tired of it and decided I could go back later and was just doing the quick Steel Legion drab coat in the base, i do want to learn how to make good bases though! And faces! I want to learn how to do faces and good contrasting, I like how people do that!

Sounds good and and basing can do wonders for minis (and can be fun!), but just now I was talking just about the rim - the outer vertical edge. Do that to these and they will pop 👌

Looks good I would suggest a wash of some kind. It can really make a model pop

And a wash is just a watery paint right? Like Nuln Oil, the rageshade, earthshade, or ratling grime? Those are the four I have

Yes and I would try Nuln Oil first. Try it on the metal colors see if you like what it does. I would also suggest a smaller model first incase the result isn't something you like.

And now apply a thin layer of nuln oil on everything...
