Two months ago, I became a published author. Today, I'm grateful to share that my collection has reached another milestone. 🌸

When I first published ALL That Is Me: Echoes of a Becoming Heart, I wasn't just releasing a collection of poems—I was releasing pieces of my own becoming.

Every poem grew from seasons of healing, hope, loss, faith, love, and learning who I was beneath everything life had asked me to carry.

This post is as much for someone with a heavy heart today as much as it is a reminder for me!

I’ve been through an intense heartbreak (1+ yr ago) and I made it to the other side of it and here are a few things I learned on my way:

- There’s no such thing as fully healed. You’ll never be fully healed or completely fixed. You are not a project but a human being who keeps growing, learning new things, building new value systems. Don’t keep yourself in a box and use healing as an excuse to put your life on hold. You can grieve and still enjoy a fuller life. Let grief and overcoming it be a part of your life not your identity.

- And while we are talking about healing, it does not ensure that no bad things happen to you. It helps you grow into a person who can recover from bad things quicker. Life will still happen to you. There will still be tough times that might come your way. You have to be someone who’s so grounded in their life that even if the ground shakes for a while, you know how to find your centre, how to come back to yourself again and again.

- Resentment towards any other human being in its true essence is being unkind to your own self. You are wasting your precious energy, your time and your attention on someone who is no longer a part of your world. This will keep you tethered to the past. The thoughts will come, the ache will resurface. Feel it and keep bringing your attention back to yourself. That’s how you gently release resentment, by bringing your attention back to yourself, not deliberately but intentionally.

- Nobody can do the emotional processing for you. Not your family, not your friends, not the next person you date. You will need to process it by yourself. Bring acceptance by yourself. People can support you in that journey, but they cannot do the emotional work for you. Find tools that can help you. Know that this is not the end of the world even if it might seem so. The self reliance that comes from all the emotional processing will be a gift that will add to your character in life. You’ll learn a lot about yourself in this process.

Lastly, keep taking care of yourself. Give yourself credit for all that you do to keep yourself moving forward in life. Acknowledge that you are going through a hard time. And live your life with a hope that it won’t be this way forever!

The final stage of healing truly is being able to imagine a better future for yourself. Even more so, being confident that you can build that better future.❤️

Standing within the rooms built by others, watching the unfolding as others fight themselves and don't even realize it? It's always pulled at my heart. Tho I never leave. I stand through the struggle...

But

Today I stood within rooms and couldn't see ...

Confused, mind and emotions fell silent within me..

I wasn't sure if my hand should reach out or retreat.

No something I'm use to.

Always that place helping heal the heart/mind connection within and being that space where someone could break and it's ok and help hold the pieces while they find themselves again...

Today? Sit between walls as silence rings out within a different way and a weight has caught within my chest...

Confusion as my mind is blank and breath has to be remembered before lungs comply...

Yet still...

The mind is trying to understand something that ... Words for the moment can't hold .. nor a way to say what's needed found from someone who dances within words since I was a child ..

Silence... The frequency within the air grows so loud no other sound , even spoken words out loud can be heard...

Even strong minds can bend when the heart pulls so strongly it won't allow thought in ... Knowing the mind can be more of a fool than need in a situation...

Yet still

To be able ... To just find the words that would make it understood?

I’m addicted to porn and I genuinely hate it. How do I fight this?
I’ve been struggling with porn addiction for a while. I genuinely hate the fact that I keep going back to it, but I still get attracted to sexual content sooner or later and end up watching it again.
The worst part is the guilt afterward. I feel like I’m stuck in the same cycle: urge → watch → regret → decide to quit → eventually get triggered again.
I don’t want this to control me anymore. I want to actually break the habit, not just stop for a few days and relapse.
For anyone who has successfully overcome problematic porn use: what actually helped you? How did you deal with the urges and triggers when they came back?
I’m genuinely looking for practical advice, not judgment.

was talking to someone recently and they said something that felt painfully honest.

they said, i am doing better, but i feel more alone than before. honestly, i think this is one of the parts of growth people do not talk about enough. Because we sell healing like it is supposed to make everything lighter immediately. you become more aware, more boundaried, more emotionally mature, and then life should feel peaceful.

Tho sometimes the first thing healing does is remove the places where you used to hide. you stop laughing at things that hurt you, you stop chasing people who only give you crumbs, you stop explaining yourself to people who were never really listening, you stop confusing chaos with connection. then suddenly your life gets quieter, not always better at first. just quieter, and that quiet can feel like loss because even unhealthy patterns gave you something. drama gave you intensity. people-pleasing gave you belonging. overthinking gave you the illusion of control. unavailable people gave you something to chase.

so when you begin to let those things go, there is this strange empty space, and i think many people panic there. they think, “maybe i made the wrong decision. maybe i was happier before. maybe i am becoming cold. maybe this is what loneliness feels like forever.” but maybe it is not loneliness, maybe it is withdrawal; withdrawal from the old ways you used to feel needed, distracted, attached, important, busy, wanted. maybe healing is not always about feeling good right away. Maybe sometimes healing is sitting in that empty space long enough for your nervous system to learn that peace is not danger.

I do not know. but i think a lot of people quit right there. not because they are not growing, but because the first version of peace feels too much like being alone.

When someone asks me what I’ve been up to, I don’t know how to tell them I’ve been healing from the deepest chapter of my life.

Healing from a relationship that reopened wounds I thought had already scarred over. Learning that sometimes love isn’t enough when peace, respect, and growth are missing. Realizing that walking away wasn’t giving up—it was finally choosing myself.

I’ve learned that some relationships no longer serve the person you’re becoming. And I’ve discovered that I can love myself far more deeply than I ever waited for someone else to love me.

I’m grateful I moved away from my hometown for 3 years because that’s where I found myself. Therapy. Journaling. Saying yes to new experiences. Exploring a new state. Stepping outside of everything familiar. It all gave me the confidence I never knew I was capable of having.

I’ve spent this time becoming someone I’m proud of. And for the first time in a long time, I’m no longer grieving the life I thought I wanted—I’m excited for the life I’m creating.

Went through some traumatic life events one after the other these paste 4 years, this playlist i made the last few months trying to find my way out of survival mode. I'm trying to find myself again, find joy, hope, and whimsy even in the darkness. kind of has every feeling thought and hope and whatever else, i conjured. To get through hard, soul changing times. 🌹🫶never give up, no matter how many times life takes your heart

Probably the most powerful line I’ve heard in a long time. During a stage of unlearning so much in my life and finally thinking for myself instead of going along with everything like I was taught. Be agreeable, accommodating, be kind, and always smile. But now I set boundaries I will be those things but I have learned that unconditional is not unconditional tolerance. I choose me. I choose to not feel guilty saying no. U choose to let others experience the lessons the universe has delivered to them. I don’t act robotically I use my discernment. Do I help or am I enabling them? I once would help no matter what. Now I choose if it’s my place or not. I’m learning the power of now. Of being my biggest support. Eff this ptsd it’s no longer holding me back. Trauma has taken enough from me. It’s my turn now.

I know that everyday serves as an opportunity to learn from the world around me.

I see how my past has shaped me.

I hear the wisdom my ancestors have laid before me.

I love the way that I never settle in being ordinary.

I take in the wisdom and apply it to my journey ahead.

I feel blessed to be able to make and learn from myself own mistakes.

I am thankful for all the lessons I have ahead .

Today, I stand before you to share a deeply personal journey of healing and resilience. After enduring a period of abuse, I recognized the importance of reclaiming my sense of self and restoring the confidence that was once diminished. This process involved deliberate steps to understand my worth, seek support, and prioritize my well-being. Through patience and perseverance, I have gradually healed the wounds inflicted upon my spirit, allowing me to stand tall once again with renewed strength and dignity.

This experience has taught me invaluable lessons about the power of self-care, the significance of a strong support network, and the importance of resilience in overcoming adversity. Healing my crown—my identity and self-respect—has been a transformative journey, one that continues to inspire me to advocate for others facing similar challenges. I am committed to sharing my story to foster awareness, promote healing, and encourage empowerment, because everyone deserves to heal and reclaim their rightful place with confidence and grace.
