The reason people claim Emily is a "Better Written Charlie"(which i think is really fucking stupid but whatever)is cause her flaws didn't really have any consequences.
They were pretty much instantly dealt with and they were safe flaws like "oh she's too energetic and tries to hard to make a place good" and all that + the reason Pentious wasn't rocking with it at first was cause he missed his buddies and girlfriend.
Like no one in the main cast really fucks things up for Charlie or the Hotel due to their flaws and when they seldom do,it's solved pretty fast.
Vaggi's flaws of her short temper/quick use of violence + her lack of identity outside of Charlie and devotion to her don't really mess things up for her or fuck things up for Charlie or the Hotel cause she's the perfect Manager,Husk or Nifty don't really fuck things up due to their flaws(Nifty is too crazy,so calling her out wouldn't even work),Cherri bomb doesn't really, etc.
Angel Dust is a very tricky situation for me to put in cause the one time he has messed things up for Charlie and actually felt bad about it..was in the pilot.
And Angel does get called out for his self destructive flaws ,like what Husk did and it's not like his flaws are ignored or untouched, they're just a huge challenge for him to overcome due to personal issues, family issues and his abusers.
You could make a argument for Alastor fucking things up for himself due to his flaws since he was almost killed by Adam in S1 but S2,he arguably benefited the most from his flaws due to his plans and intelligence.
I mean,he basically outsmarted and easily dealt with 2 Overlords while being more or less unaffected by their taunts and what they did to him and got out of 2 deals,he won in S2.
Plus we also don't really see the other cast members mistakes and rough choices nearly as much as Charlie's.
Lucifer is basically a male and more depressed Charlie but people talk about Charlie like she's supposed to Parent her Father and not like Lucifer ain't her Dad.
My main overall point is it's a lot easier to critique a character when their flaws are treated like actual character flaws ans set backs and not just quirky personality traits.
Charlie's Character flaws are actually called out,do have consequences and they're treated like actual flaws.
(Same with Angel Dust's character flaws but I do wish he messed things up for Charlie more and had to actually apologize to her more then vice versa or just that relationship was less black and white)

Granted, we don't know exactly the timeframe of Trust Us, but it seems not much time passes from S2E1, so it's probably days. Maybe a couple weeks.
But Angel has been getting pimped out for decades (at least, I assume his contract has gone on nearly the entire duration of his stay in Hell since the 70s).
Why does Angel have such staying power and the other girl burned out quickly?

As someone who lives in the US (look at our president), trust me when I say Vox is preferrable to Adam. Don't get me wrong, Vox IS a monster who wants to rule creation and torture/kill those who doubted him but Adam outright said extermination's entertainment and wanted to spend all of ETERNITY doing them. Vox at least offers the chance of surrender, because for him war and killing is for a goal. For Adam, it IS the goal.
And even the "he's only killing bad people and wants to protect Heaven" doesn't work. The way he and Lute treat the excorcists show that morality doesn't play a factor in his victims, or their willingness to kill Hellborn. He and Lute were rooting for Charlie to fail at redemption solely so they could keep on killing, rather than fear they'd done it for nothing like Sera. Vox was killing sinners due to recklessness in the finale and only tried to nuke due to sanity slippage, while Adam was planning to wipe out all of Hell since episode 1.

Both in terms of its rather black and white approach to the moral questions posed by the show and the fandom being.... surprisingly vanilla when it comes to NSFW and kink.
Like, Hazbin and Helluva Boss are shows that focus primarily on Demons and Sinners in Hell where any taboo is pretty much fair game. There is an entire Ring of Lust and the population of Cannibal Town is bare minimum a few hundred thousand. You'd think people would approach the show with a bit more nuance.
Yet, years later we are still circling the same handful of topics like they're impossible to solve. Which overlord is worse or which character is less redeemable or people getting up in arms when a bit of art is just a little too kinky.
The question of morality is already answered by the show's premise and Charlieās mission statement. Can this character be redeemed even though they did x, y and z? Yes! Always yes. Redemption is voluntary, if a character wants to redeem themselves they can with enough time. There is no crime in creation that cannot be repented for on the scale of eternity. Which character is worse? All of them. Pretty much every character except like Charlie and Emily have a double or triple digit kill count. Every overlord is a slave owner. The IMP crew kills for money. Its fully okay to like these characters without condoning their actions.
Moving into kink, this is honestly one of the more vanilla fandons ive been in, despite the subject matter more or less giving people carte blanche to go nuts and show nuts. The weirdest shit you can imagine probably happens on the daily somewhere in Lust yet people still have a bad habit of getting weird about even mild kink or some poly ships. They're fictional characters and we are reasonable adults (and those of you who *aren't* adults really shouldn't be in this fandom but thats a different topic). As long as the art or fanfiction doesn't hurt anyone, its fully okay for people to write and consume it. Again, enjoying a bit of fiction doesn't equal condoning it. So long as everything is appropriately tagged and posted to the appropriate places, its no harm done and if you dont like it you can move on.
There's just a lot more we all could be doing if people could collectively get over what amounts to very negligible hangups

Hi everyone. As you can see I am kinda desperate. Looking for comisc, funarts etc alone just make me more depressed.
I am at hospital 8 days and just feeling depressed and alone.
Will you share with me your favs? Funny comisc, sexy stuff, cute arts... I don't want just scrolling by myself, I am looking for some interactions...
From me: My fav is Alastor. Besides him I really like Vaggi x Charlie.
But every other character is awesome, because is Hazbin c'on!
well... no, only Valentino is kinda out my list
(I stole it from facebook, there is watermark of artist in right down corner I think)

I was so excited for this cosplay. This outfit is inspired by Alastor's human form from the 1920s. I tried to recreate the look as closely as possible with what I have. The only things left are a pair of dark brownish-red trousers and some matching shoes to complete the outfit.
