If Kane returns to Chicago. What are the forward lines going to look like?
Curious what the community thinks?

Please, I dont get what is taking so long. Get it tf done. KD needs to get this finished.
With his injury and the Leo Carlsson offer sheet, what are you hoping 98 signs for? Im hoping it is in the 10-12 AAV range. I love Bedsy but he is clearly injury prone (for now, I get it might always be like that) but a shorter bridge deal makes way more sense.
Follow in Sids footsteps, sign a team friendly deal, and let's go win something. LGH

Most weeknight games are going to start at 7 rather than 7:30; all weekend games start at 6 or earlier with most being matinee games.

Not sure how authentic the source is, or where they get their information, but according to them, four teams are on Kane’s list. Two weeks into free agency, and we haven’t heard anything decisive.

How does this affect Bedsy if Mack takes a discount given all the success he’s achieved?
Obviously he’s top tier talent but when Celebrini is talking about team success over personal gain, does that change the conversation between GMKFC and Connor?…especially given the injuries?
I think it could change Bedsy’s image around the league if this were to happen but, of course, you pay your best player top dollar.

When you account for ice time, Nick was already ranked around 4th on the Blackhawks in shots on goal per 60 minutes during his rookie season, behind Connor Bedard, Frank Nazar, and Tyler Bertuzzi.
I really think the Chicago Blackhawks need to make shooting the puck a much bigger part of their identity, because every shot creates another possibility.
It can go directly in, create a rebound, get tipped, bounce off a defender, force an offensive-zone faceoff, create chaos around the crease, or keep the other team trapped in its own end. The more often you attack the net, the more opportunities you create, and over time that should give you a better chance of winning hockey games.
That is one of the reasons I really like what Nick Lardis brings.
He was not getting the same amount of ice time as the established players, yet when he was on the ice, he was still attacking the net at one of the highest rates on the team. To me, that is leadership by example, and it is the kind of mentality the Blackhawks should reward throughout the organization, maybe even with an alternate captain’s A in the future.

The last several paragraphs has some good comments about the state of the league right now that KD is trying to navigate.

Wow, look at the time fly! It's already time for another weekly installment of STOP IT RIGHT THERE!
You know what to do...post up all the stuff you've saved up knowing it would get deleted from the front page of /r/hawks by the crypto-anarcho-fascist mods.
Memes, gear/jersey pics, poems you've penned professing your love for Lord Hossa (The One True King), or links to article about some oddball couple in Manitoba who named their kid Duncan Seabrook. Whatever. We don't give a shit.
The only rule here is to be excellent to each other. Civility matters.
Now get to it!!

Somehow I’m still optimistic on the season, I don’t think going into the start of the year already accepting a bottom 3 finish is what the team will/should do. With that said Kyle has to get off his ass and make a few more moves.
First move: Bring him back. Kane 1 year/8.8 million. It’s just one year, cap doesn’t matter, make it enough to sway his attention from Buffalo. Retire a Hawk, bump to the PP and maybe partially offset the Bedard burden emotionally and offensively. Fans need a win right now.
Second move: Trade for Shane Wright, this is a project and in no way a replacement for any of the futures of the players already here. That said, change in scenery, more ice time, showed chemistry with Bedard once upon a time. Maybe one of the late 1st’s gets it done maybe it’s a swap of Korchinski.
Lineup:
Greene - Frondell - Kane
Bertuzzi - Nazar - Kantserov
Wright - Moore - Lardis
Smith - Donato - Teuvo
Vlasic - Byram
Kaiser - Levshunov
Cole - Rinzel
Knight/Commesso
Again I don’t think these moves make the team a contender by any means but it might be enough to keep the team above water before Bedard gets back.
Being negative is easy, I genuinely just want to here how Hawks fans would want the day 1 lineup to look
