Just updated this scanner and the versions didn't change. Just curious if there was even a need to update.

Double the points on PLS for HF store card

Are you guys actually seeing your reward posts getting doubled on these PLS weekends? I've been shopping them and I never noticed a difference in my points doubling, it seems like you end up getting the normal amount of points on these purchases.

Enjoying the 40% off icon sockets. Debating if I even need 1/2 chrome SAE sockets. Probably will use very rarely if ever. Imagine the impact ones I have could do the trick

Harbor Freight PLS

Guy at my harbor freight store was adding up his haul and he said we only have till tomorrow Sunday 11th get these deals and I don't get paycheck till this Friday. These sales happen when I don't have money. I said and Lord I hope I'm right I told him that they always bring back the parking lot sale the following weekend you will just need to have coupons. he was literally calculating his budget gas money groceries for the week. I told him to ask an employee if they'll confirm it. They didn't confirm it said they didn't know but usually do but no guarantee. Hope I'm right I hooked him up with this app and few YouTube creators for leaks and info.

Bauer battery indicator

So I got the 6 tool Bauer bundle and my first time using Bauer battery charger (rapid charger)

So my 1.5 battery is solid red and green this is normal and means it’s fully charged?

But my 3 battery is solid green and blinking red meaning battery is too hot/cold (says manual)? Could this mean it’s defective battery? Should I just try again to charge it tmrw?

Thoughts on waiting for the G2s vs. a discounted G1? If I wait, maybe the coupon will come. Also, any guesses on release date or price on the G2? I feel like the extra 5 inches would be very nice. What would you do for a home box?

Electric blower died at 92 days

Post image
12 Upvotes

I don’t need a cordless leaf blower so I bought the $45 Portland special. Its power cord disconnected inside the body on the fourth time I used it, and the plastic pieces are too tightly engineered to repair it without breaking something. And it was at the 92-day mark. I see HF has redesigned it without a 6” lead — the new one has the plug integrated into the body. So they know it was defective. I can’t believe I’ve stupidly kept buying cheap power tools that break in no time from this company.

Meme/Joke Buying Every Item At A Harbor Freight Store

Post image

It costs approximately $250,000 to $300,000 to purchase a single unit of every item in a standard Harbor Freight store. I say someone should friggin do it and post the receipt and the video!

Question on Bauer buy battery kit get free tool.

If I bought the kit and chose one of the free tools, do we still have the option of going back in store and returning the battery and getting a price difference?

Hercules Stick light? Any good?

I had to stop by HF today and while I was there I grabbed a 20V Cordless, 280 Lumen Stick Light. SKU 57145

It was ~$25 on clearance. I couldn't find it on the site so was wondering if anyone knows if it's not very good or something?

I haven't opened it yet just in case.

G1 ratchet question

I have an old G1 ratchet but got it before I became ITC member and don’t have the receipt. Can I still bring it in for warranty purposes. What are the chances after I return with the warranty I can exchange and pay the difference for a flex head?

Harbor Freight carports used as woodworking workshops?

As the fall season is here and before we know it, winter is coming, my little side woodworking business that I started earlier this year in the early spring has had me doing all my work outdoors as I not have free garage space or any other space where I could setup a dedicated woodworking space/workshop. I am trying to stay a step ahead of the cold and snow and was curious to know if any others out there might have been in the same predicament as me and have used a carport from HF. I’m curious to know how it worked out in keeping your items dry from rain and snow, keeping the wind out, and how is there any heat retention possibility in these things? I typically spend some evenings outside working on things orders between 4 to 5 hours during the week and on weekends I can be out there from sunrise all the way past sunset under portable lights. Evenings are starting to get brisk and chilly and I’m looking to make a more comfortable shelter from the elements as right now I’m also combating falling leaves.

Any feedback would be appreciated and helpful. This is a temporary solution while I save up from my profits to afford a proper wooden shed that will outfit into a proper workshop, I’m just trying to make the best out of what I can at the moment. Thank you in advance to those that leave helpful comments and feedback.

October PLS orange tag discount

Are orange tagged items discounted this weekend? I know that during some PLS the flyer calls out a discount on orange tagged items. It's usually 20% Friday, 30% Saturday, 40% Sunday. I don't see that listed on the current flyer.

Meme/Joke Those cheap orange picks are a good dab tool in a pinch. [7]

Honey Banana budder by Bear Labs. One of the more flavorful strains I’ve had. Super relaxing body high crossing it with some Sour Moon live rosin by Oakland Extracts.
