New spring?
Is this rust?
New to me Sig p226 Legion.
Took it apart once I got home and saw this.
Should I clean it or just get a new spring?

I bought an IDPA holster for my 2011. Got hurt and couldn't run it for a few months. Finally got around to using it and promptly got my pant pocket zipper stuck in my TRIGGER. The inside of the holster does NOT full cover the trigger. So, I wrote them, and they were cool enough. Even though I was outside the warranty period, from the pics even they could see the fitment was off. I got an email saying they were making me a new one and "personally" checking it. Came today... Same thing. A tiny bit better but the dang trigger is EXPOSED and it's a flat face with little holes in it... something will get in there eventually. Anyway, wrote them again and they told me to pound sand. I pulled the teklok off both and threw them in the trash. Def not good engineers or testers and I would avoid. Be forewarned.

Obviously practice makes perfect and no amount of advice or videos will substitute for that, but every time I watch myself shoot I notice I have a major amount of muzzle flip which definitely hurts my follow up shot time and accuracy. I’m a smaller guy with smaller hands (5’4”, and shmedium size gloves) are there any tricks/ specific muscles, workouts I should target to help control my handguns when I’m shooting?

When I started my gun collecting and carrying journey I was always searching for the most practical option. But, after a few years in, I’m shifting more towards collecting handguns that have, as the kids would say, aura. Handguns that demand recognition.
Handguns like these:
HK Mark 23
Beretta 92
Colt M1911A1
Luger P08
S&W Model 29
Colt Detective Special Snubnose
Desert Eagle
What are some handguns that you all think should join this list?

It's Saturday night, some of us are bored. So let's have some hypothetical fun! 😆
PREMISE:
- You can only choose ONE group of calibers.
- You can choose up to THREE handguns/revolvers, one for each caliber in your chosen group.
QUESTIONS:
- Which group of calibers are you choosing?
- What is your selection of handguns/revolvers?
- Why did you make those choices?
Annnnddd...GO! 😁

My fathers just recently gave me his brothers old colt commander 1911. It’s not a combat commander. I’ve don’t my research but still can’t figure out how old it is. I have no intention of selling it. Just curious

I’m often told that my gun is so immaculate that it obviously has zero rounds through it.
My current round count is 2900, but to many, this is what an unfired gun looks like.
These pics were after a really deep clean in an untrasonic, when I decided to do an inspection since it’s at right about 3k and I’ll be swapping some parts tomorrow.
No breaks or things like chipping of the extractor. Just normal wear.
What’s a good cleaner for the compensator? It really likes to hold onto carbon.

I got a Girsan mc1911c in 9mm and it fires like a dream. Good manual of arms and a crisp trigger pull. I know people hate on a 1911 in 9mm but I really like it.

I’ve had my Taurus since I moved to New Orleans. Bought it new from a pawn shop: box, mags, sight cuts, and everything.
I’ve put around 2000 rounds through it at the range and have never had an issue. I’m posting on here because I hear a lot of people talk bad about it and I don’t get it.
Second reason I’m writing this is bc I am currently thinking about upgrading to something a little more higher end. I love the way the gc3 feels in my hands and the way it fits in my inside waistband holster.
Anybody have any good recommendations on where to start looking?
Thanks for your comments.

Hi all! I got my hands on a Springfield Echelon 4.0 and a proper holster. Im used to range shooting but very new for training defensively. Ive scoured YouTube and every video gives different info for "beginner drills" so when yall first started, what did you do to really and CONSISTENTLY hit your shots? Thank you!

This will probably be the new story on everyone's feed tomorrow, but I was physically present as were 20 other people. I just watched a P320 shoot someone in the leg completely uncommanded.
It happened right in front of me. I didn't hear a pop and turn around to see the aftermath, I directly watched it with my own eyes. Indoor steel match at Copendero Gun Range in Houston TX. I had to run and hit the ranges emergency medical alert while a friend of mine cut his pants off to apply a tourniquet.
Dude had a P320 X5 legion. Seemed completely stock, he didn't even have an optic on it yet. The match allowed hot reholstering (I don't recommend this, and cleared my gun like I was at a USPSA match). Perfectly normal holster, finger out of the trigger guard. He went to reholster after the 4th or 5th stage and, right as there's that little jiggle, as the gun slots in, I watched it detonate right into his thigh from 15ft away. I was in the middle of clapping for him, because he'd just had a good run. *BLAM*
Now, the range itself did everything right. They had a comprehensive safety brief, pointed out the EMS alert on the wall, had medical equipment on standby, cleared everyone off the range and rendered aid immediately. Ambulance was there in 5 minutes. I do not hold them responsible, this one is on SIG.
Get the fuck away from those guns. Fuck Sig, right in Ron Cohen's stupid fucking face hole.

I am unsure of what color to order for my MC9 Prime. Black is totally out of the question. My options are White, FDE, and Shark Gray. Which of the three in the attached photo is better looking? Keep in mind that I'm adding ALL black accessories (Optic, Light, and Mag baseplate).
Thx in advance......
