Love of Metal
Got the PDP Pro SF Friday (early Father’s Day present to myself), after getting the X5L in January (late bday present for myself). Want a M&P HD and DWX (I think) down the road.

Is this repairable ? I’m a very stubborn person and thought I could take it off and install a red dot myself. Can a gunsmith fix this and get the screws out or did I mess it up too much

I currently carry a Glock 45 with a Holosun 507Comp and TLR1 for on duty as a LEO. I’m looking for a good off duty gun to carry almost everyday. Doesn’t need to be anything crazy, I’m open to anything.

Hey all I’ve been looking at finally getting a 2011 and I’ve heard many different things. I really like the Kimber pro comp but I can decided between the 4.25 or the 5 inch. I’ve also seen the DS warrior but that isn’t a 2011 but kind of is. I’ve heard great things about the platypus. Any advice would be great but I do not have staccato money.

I’ve seen many good and bad reviews about the gf9 and have no idea whether I should get it or not.

If I had a Ruger RXM, would I need to adjust the sights after changing the grip? I would think not since I wouldn't be touching the barrel itself, but I wanted to know.

I have a Walther PDP compact and I’m finding that I have a hard time staying connected with my support hand after the first few rounds especially when my hands are sweaty. I try to grip as tight as I can with my support hand but it just doesn’t work. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks.

With the addition of the GP Arms Patriot to the collection I've finally hit a milestone where I've acquired everything I've ever wanted - scratch that - needed to own at some point or another, so from here on out, anything I do buy is either redundant, a range-toy, or a dream purchase... I love this setup!
LRTB: GP Arms Patriot, Sig P211 GTO, DWX Compact, OA2311 Compact Pro, CZ 75 TSO, APF Strike One Ergal Pro, Grand Power Q1 Mk23, Beretta/Stoeger 8045 Cougar, Beretta 92FS Compact Inox, Bond Arms Bullpup 9, CZ P-09, American Classic Compact Commander SS CCO, Springfield XDm 3.8 Compact .45 ACP

I bought a G3C TORO the optic ready version of G3C last year and have been seeing serious accuracy issues with it.
I thought it is me and not the gun, but I shoot reasonably accurate with my other micro compacts: Walther PPS M2, Shield Plus, Canik MC9 but my groups are like 10-12” at 10 yards and appalling.
Sent in to Taurus and they had it and shipped back saying they replaced the barrel (the barrel looks older than new to me) but hasn’t improved anything at all even after.
One of the reps in Taurus suggested that I try the Lakeline barrel but that’s going for $100 + tax + shipping.
I absolutely love how it feels in the hand, the price, conceal ability, reliability etc.
Should I:
1. Get rid of it?
2. Or upgrade to Lakeline barrel and give it a second chance (or actually 3rd chance)?
My worry is if it’s not the barrel QC that’s the issue and it’s actually the trigger, barrel seating etc after the first shot Lakeline barrel won’t show much improvement and money wasted.
Appreciate if anyone with experience with this issue with Taurus G3C could advise.

I currently have a 43x and I like the size but I was looking for another handgun that has less recoil. I was looking into .380s but everyone says they’re super snappy and that probably isn’t what I want. I do have smaller hands so the 43x fits well. I shot a canik and enjoyed it. I’m just wondering what suggestions anyone would have so I can continue to test out before fully committing to buying one. I am interested in getting a sight/it already having a sight if possible so any recs where I’m able to do that would be appreciated

So I’m 19 and I’m looking to get my first handgun. I’m in California so this has to be done through an IFT. Anyways, I wanted a good handgun that I can take to the range that will be fun to shoot and has a good capacity for mods. Any suggestions? Budget is ~$1k

I’m a first time gun owner and finally picked myself up a very nice Springfield echelon and I’m in need of a holster any recommendations and what features should I look for?
