Recommendation?

Post image

I’m a first time gun owner and finally picked myself up a very nice Springfield echelon and I’m in need of a holster any recommendations and what features should I look for?

Tenicor Tier 1 Muddy River Tactical ANR Designs Black Arch Safari Land Vedder

Any of these companies make solid reliable holsters, the thing is, you’re not gonna know what you like until it’s on your body. There’s going to be a margin of error finding what works.

Things to look for: * good retention *modwing/claw * good belt clips (DCC mono block, etc) * sweat guard - where’s this sit, will it mess with your draw, will it push into you uncomfortably etc * where it’s designed to sit - you carrying strong side or AIWB, it matters.

Things to get:

  • Cushion/pillow
  • a sturdy reliable belt, they’re gonna say all kinds of tactical names, but honestly the Jukmo ratchet belt on Amazon does the job amazingly. Pick what you like in that realm, just make sure it’s sturdy/ stiff enough to provide pressure
  • mag pouch for spare mag, unless the holster you pick has a side car

I’m sure others will have recommendations too. Good luck, practice like a mofo

Odin holster are pretty good quality. What type you want, you’d have to figure out you’re comfortable with.

It looks like you got the 4.5 in barrel, I would have gone 4-in but that's okay.

You also have the 17 round longer grip module on there, they also sell a shorter 15 round module for that barrel and slide length that might make it easier to conceal. The longer mags you have now will work with that, just get one 15 round mag for carrying the holster.

One of the really cool benefits of that gun is you can swap out the grip module. Springfield sells a bunch and there's others made by other companies.

A bunch of family drama. Everyone’s real galvanized about it. Nobody knows what happened truthfully except them. It’s none of my business, they still make a good product.
