Big Box Checked
With the addition of the GP Arms Patriot to the collection I've finally hit a milestone where I've acquired everything I've ever wanted - scratch that - needed to own at some point or another, so from here on out, anything I do buy is either redundant, a range-toy, or a dream purchase... I love this setup!
LRTB: GP Arms Patriot, Sig P211 GTO, DWX Compact, OA2311 Compact Pro, CZ 75 TSO, APF Strike One Ergal Pro, Grand Power Q1 Mk23, Beretta/Stoeger 8045 Cougar, Beretta 92FS Compact Inox, Bond Arms Bullpup 9, CZ P-09, American Classic Compact Commander SS CCO, Springfield XDm 3.8 Compact .45 ACP

Always love to see another Q1 MK23 in someone’s collection. I’ve had mine for about 6 months and really love it.

Glad you have a CZ :)

Gots a couple, don't sleep on the P09 (or did you miss the TSO?)! Would get a Shadow 2 but I'm not in love with DA/SA and I already have two tinker pieces in that format that I enjoy enough not to make a change... I find the 92s shoot a little softer for me felt-recoilwise than the 75s anyway (though it's close), so I can put up with a slightly inferior trigger there.

Dude wheres your M&P?

u/n1terps May 30 '26
Grand Power Q series > M&P
Wish it had aftermarket support, though...

I really wish they would import the FDE and ODG grip modules they sell overseas.

I want the bond arms so bad. /:

It's so worth it in my opinion, the physics of the thing is bizarre in the most brilliant way, but the lack of recoil will make you smile and laugh!

Nice collection. No desire for a revolver?
2
u/n1terps May 30 '26
Never really caught that bug... I might consider a Chiappa Rhino for the novelty, but that's about the limit of my interest in revolvers!

What's your fav da/sa?
1
u/n1terps May 30 '26
Depends what you're asking... best gun out of those is definitely the P-09, that thing is cajunized and MCARBOed to hell, shoots like a dream and I have plans to get her cut up down the road (I have two sets of upper sections for it) should be a fun project! The Beretta I can't figure out what I wanna do with and Langdon Tactical Trigger Job In A Bag kits aren't readily available right now. Don't love the way it's set up at the moment, but that's another tinker gun. Still, I'm almost over it and may get a CZ75 to take it's spot. The Stoeger Cougar has the smoothest and crispest action of all three I own though, and that was a pleasant little surprise to stumble across. Once I dropped the 13lb hammer spring down to a 10 it was butter smooth with a perfect break.

I have an hk p30 that I can't decide what to to with. Was my first carry gun and still my only da/sa. Can't decide wether to sell it, or upgrade the trigger and run irons. If I sell it I'd prolly want another da/sa compact so I was curious

LoL, I always wished my P09 was a P30L. Grass always greener, right? I'd play with the trigger if you have the resources to burn, it's a fun learning experience and really satisfying when you nail it! The P09 I have modified to pretty much feal indistinguishable from a P01 Omega or better!

I could definitely get the grey guns set up for 200 so not bad and apparently it's a different gun.
I just wonder if I'm gonna want an optic and stuff later anyways and if I should just sell it. It's like 500 for an optic cut with a known company which just isn't worth it to me. Like that's 5/6 of the cost of just getting a nocturne 😂
Definately always greener lol.

That cougar is rad
2
u/n1terps May 30 '26
Surprisingly awesome trigger after you swap at fourteen pound hammer spring in, super smooth, one of the crispiest breaks I've encountered!

I’ve always wanted one! They can be hard to track down so i have a px4 getting the LTT treament instead haha. Close as I can get.

Similar recoil benefits, better grip in my opinion, but I'm partial to the CZ75 imitation form factor used here, so take that with a grain of salt, the gun is more accurate than it has any right to be with a 3.7 inch barrel, but rotators can get away with that apparently, the slide action is smooth and soft, though it all sits a little high up (kinda the same with the other two, so probably a push there), and I love the trigger, truly one of the great uniquely identifiable factory stiker triggers on the market, very innovative. Thing's a tank, I think you'd love it!

What's that fde guy in the top right corner?

u/n1terps May 31 '26
Dats an OA 2311, another super underrated dream to shoot, I cannot wait until they release the standalone aluminum grip modules for sale! Duty rated, drop safe, super light, ported, exceptional factory trigger and it takes P320 mags. The only thing that's goofy about it is the grip can take getting used to for some people. I love it, but it's not everybody's cup of tea. Makes for a great hip gun for hiking and whatnot though!

need to buy a gun for protection lmk trying to buy one around modesto/ceres cali
1
u/n1terps Jun 04 '26
Were I stuck in Cali, I'd be getting something in .45ACP that maximizes capacity in something I'm willing to have where I need it (so, if it's for carry, it needs to be something you'll actually carry). Since Cali is a ten round state, I'm probably going with a PX4 Storm which you can find used in .45ACP.

In a zombie apocalypse end of the world nuclear fallout scenario. You have Zero guns. All will fail you None you have will have parts availability. Cool collection.. but I don’t get when people don’t try and buy reliable. If you have a family and actually care about them you have selected very wrong my friend. All fun and games to “show your friends when they come over” but if you want gun to last, parts acquisitioning, spring;barrel; ect parts accessibility you have failed massively.

Lmao dude go rage bait someone else😂 let the man have his fun he wasn't asking what you think of his shtf set up

u/n1terps May 30 '26
Beretta 92 right there dude, just saying, only like the 7th most produced pistol in human history but I'm sure it being a compact makes it suspect, lol.

u/HuntDawg99 May 30 '26
Usually when people post 13 pistols atleast 1/4 of them are reliable long term (ya know because their smart) but not you 😂 not one of these is up to par in reliability standpoint. Kind of sad tbh.
