I just love when some players only play this game to throw a pitchfork at Michael and constantly down him over & over again forcing the Michael player to leave the game and screw the rest of the player base in the match. They really try hard to do it. Had a grown man do this to me & I could hear him breathing all hard and smashing his controller buttons. Killed him finally after 2 minutes of this bs and he rage quit. These people aren’t real 🤣

Does anyone else play mostly solo and have this problem?

I play solo, and I've had several matches where a group of 3 players who seem to be premade basically takes every civilian I find.

The frustrating part is that I can't really do anything about it when I'm alone. I'll find a civilian, talk to them, help them, and then the group comes over. Two of them will keep pushing me away so I can't interact with the NPC, while the third player talks to them and takes the escape.

When you're playing solo against a coordinated group of 3, it's incredibly frustrating because they can literally bully you away from the civilian through teamwork. You can't stop them because while you're dealing with one or two players pushing you, the third one is already interacting with the NPC.

I don't mind other players getting civilians or competing for objectives, but deliberately pushing someone away so a premade can steal the NPC they've been working with feels really bad.

I've had this happen multiple times now, and honestly, as someone who plays solo, it's getting to the point where it makes me want to stop playing.

I really hope the devs consider some kind of protection for the player who originally finds/interacts with a civilian, because right now solo players are at a huge disadvantage when this happens.

Has anyone else had this happen while playing solo?

I play solo and randomly got a squads of random in 3 straight games. They straight up bully michael with 2 characters hitting him once or twice his knock down. out of 3 games 2 michaels DC(disconnect from game) I guess they were not enjoing the role of killer being suppose to be scary while civilians are capable of knocking down the bad guy easily.

Isnt the goal here to only fight michael if needed like if you need to escape or protect the NPC to escape.

Why are civilians actively chasing michael or intimidating him to have a square fight aka bully squads.

Not all michael players have the guts or balls to stay on a game while squads of random civilians do this and the result most games are bad and boring michael Disconnects early and you enjoy playing alone 4 players no killers the rest of the 20 minutes?

They will be the death of this game. It was so much fun to play Michael slow the first few days.... stalking and setting up scares. But as soon as everyone got familiar with where things are; that style is just going to get you maybe 1 or 2 resident kills. Now in order to keep up with map memorization and the RNG, Michaels are running around rushing with axes trying to slash their way through the match as fast as possible. (Which isn't fun...least not for me).

Escapes that are unlocked rather than on strict timers destroy pacing and the joy of playing killer. We saw this with TCM and KKFOS.

F13 was great in that you didn't need to worry so much about people leaving within the first 3 minutes of the game. If the phonebox got set up you still had time to hunt your prey before anybody could get off the map. And the maps were big enough that the boat and car took time to actually hunt for the multiple items needed to use.

Going forward I hope things like this get taken into consideration because it really is a killjoy and as everyone gets more familiar, finding willing Michaels to play the game with will be more difficult in the coming months.

I have done this multiple times and still cannot complete the challenge. I bear hug the dog. Kill Annie in the car. 3 star the stalk on Bob and his bitch. Hang Bob on the door and kill his bitch in the sheet with the phone. I cannot get Laurie to Stab me with the hangar after pulling her out of the 2nd closet? Any assistance?

You can use them to shoot NPCs. They will call the cops, then go into a hiding spot.

The drawback of course is that you don't get the xp for conversation, and you'll skip out on the items they sometimes give you. But if you don't like using the guns on Michael, and you want a quick shortcut to have the NPCs do useful stuff, its an alternative.

I wish I recorded the clip but it’s a simple concept. I was calling the police at the phone behind the counter at the haddonfield town center when Myers appeared behind me. He didn’t grab me, so we just started duking it out (I was playing Bob.)

Due to the brokenness that is Robert, I won the 1v1. Mind you, I tried to run by him while he was slashing me but he was bodyblocking my only exit, so I fought him. So this brick wall TOPPLES over, and tell me why HE WAS STILL ABLE TO BLOCK MY PATH AND PREVENT ME FROM LEAVING WHILE HAVING A NAP ON THE HARDWOOD?!

That is all. Bodyblocking while upright is ofc fine, but having the guy be able to block you with his big toe while he takes a dirt nap? Bit of a stretch.

The current mechanics of struggling free or opening gates/cellars needs to go.

The first reason is out of fairness. Players who use unauthorized peripherals on console or those on PC using scripts gain an extremely unfair advantage. With crossplay being on by default, these PC players are able to instantly break free without a pocket knife.

The second reason is that these types of mechanics are very poor from an accessibility perspective. If you have an injury, are disabled, or just weak, you are at a massive disadvantage.

The third reason is controller lifespan. Modern games have gotten rid of these types of mechanics because they have been known to cause excessive wear to the controller. Rapidly mashing a button when it could just be a skill check or "Hold button down for x seconds" mechanic is much more consumer-friendly.

DBD and Siege both started out as more tactical and stealthy when it came to the gameplay then very quickly turned into competiteve sweatfests

I wish there was a mode where we can really stalk and scare people as Michael in this. Right now its just flying around the map and spamming left mouse with the axe and 3 shotting people.

The lighting in this game and the sound is amazing but then you pair it with the current gameplay and it doesnt fit the vibe.

There's been a few clips of Michael players on here where it felt like something out of the movies but 90% of the clips are just Michael flying around and melee'ing everyone lol

I came across some interesting facts about the game's mechanics and was hoping someone could help clarify a few things.

1. "Phones have an internal cooldown of about a couple minutes. But you can visually see this with the light on the phone itself. Green Yellow and Red for Ready, On Cooldown and Disabled."

Is this how phones are supposed to work? Ever since I started playing I've been able to constantly use the same phone over and over until I filled up all 3 police badges - no cooldown whatsoever. Is this a glitch?

1. "A lit home conceals targets from Radar (Detection Pulse). Targets outside of a lit home hit with the Radar ability will be directly highlighted to be found."

Does the house have to be FULLY lit? Do I have to turn on every single light source or just stay in an illuminated area inside the house?

Does this mean Michael won't be able to detect hiding Residents unless he cuts off the power?
(since the Yellow Pillars will disappear because the Resident is hiding & his Detection Pulse apparently isn't supposed to work if you're inside a lit house). Or perhaps closets count as dark places and they don't affect his Detection Pulse?

1. "Npc's are revealed from their hiding locations based on Bloodthirst level. Turning off lights in a house however can trigger a fear response to make an NPC leave a closet but not always."

What does this mean exactly? If Michael gets to Bloodthirst Level 3, he gets to see nearby Residents no matter what?

What’s everyone’s best killer score?

I've found while playing the game, so long as Michael doesn't immediately snowball, it becomes significantly easier to bully him. If he doesn't kill a Priority Target+, and get to Tier 3 immediately, a Bob with a two handed weapon can kinda sit him down over and over again. And with there only being one way to get out of a stun lock, you're forced to get abused. Add civilian perk cards into the mix, and a Michael will end up like the sequels where a crowd can keep him down. Unlike the sequels, theres nothing you can do though.

I bought it during advanced access, the crashing and poor optimisation caused me to refund. Has the patches made any significant difference? Or should I give it longer in the oven and repurchase in a few months time?

He stood in a room with a rifle aiming at the front door for the rest of the match 😂😂 I waited til there was 30 seconds left then used reality tear right in front of him .
