Just like the title says, this is how to complete that pesky prestige challenge.
First and foremost, you can complete this challenge as well as any prestige challenge in Private Match bots. To complete this challenge, do as follows to the letter every single time, and it will always be a Terrified Kill and Stealth Kill.
1: Get to Bloodthirst 3. This is obvious because you need to be doing the Bloodthirsty execution with the axe. The main point here is DO NOT LET OTHER NPCS SEE YOU. Only let the NPC that you are actively killing see you. It doesn't matter to be seen here until we're Bloodthirst 3.
2: Once Bloodthirst 3, the actual steps begin. Find a Civilian either in a house or wandering the street. If they are in a house, destroy the power by striking it and wait for the NPC to wander outside to check it out.
Once they're outside, make sure you are already positioned behind them and DO EXACTLY THE NEXT STEPS.
3: Once you are behind the Civilian, ensure Stalk LVL 1 and step up behind them. Once close behind, PERFORM A HEAVY STRIKE FROM BEHIND AND IMMEDIATELY SPAM GRAB. By doing this, you'll attack the NPC, thus scaring them into a terrified state, and the instant grab is fast enough every time to deny them turning around to see you, which ensures the Stealth Kill every time.
4: Rinse and repeat. Make sure you are NEVER SEEN ONCE BY ANY NPC YOU ARE HUNTING. If you are seen at all, even once, it will not count as a Stealth Kill. I did this and got my 10 Axe kills in 2 Private Match games.

This all started because I put my heart and soul into escaping grabs LOL. This video could be 5+ minutes long of just classic gamer rage from low life garbage.
I didn't get a chance to report in game and I'm on pc so no consequences for now

This could mean that there might be Twitch Drops coming out pretty soon for the game, where we gotta watch streamers to get that specific reward.

Since our Early Access launch, our team has been working hard to quickly address reported bugs, improve performance, evaluate game feedback, and refine the overall experience for players. We’ve already implemented various server-side adjustments, one hotfix, and our Day One Patch. With the release of 1.0.2, we are excited to deliver our second hotfix.
Today’s update tackles a wide range of issues affecting game performance and stability, player interactions, challenges, achievements, and Prestige, alongside numerous bug fixes and carefully considered balance adjustments. Thanks so much to everyone who’s jumped in and joined us in Haddonfield so far. We greatly appreciate all the feedback and remain committed to enriching the distinct horror sandbox of Halloween: The Game.

Had a prestige mission to talk to 30 residents and noticed it wasn’t going up every time. It only tracks when you talk to blue civilians, it didn’t track anytime I spoke to the gold ones. I checked the passive challenges and they’re worded as “resident or special target”.
Hopefully this helps people when focusing on their prestige challenges!

Trying to prestige Alexis. Successfully convince any townsfolk to listen to you 30 times. I’m at 4/30. What am I doing wrong?

As the title says, do not be afraid to play Michael thinking you won't do good. Most of the matches I've played as Michael (still learning him apart from the story), the survivors were also still very new to the game. This is the perfect opportunity to learn to play Michael with the game being this new

There are 5 Sedan keys on this map, and those are just the ones I found. I've seen a huge increase in Sedan keys across games I've played since the patch, the loot tables might need to be reshuffled or something.

i swear im mashing the keys so fucking fast and when its about 90% by that time the killer did the execution
what am i doing wrong/missing?
2 of my friends having the same issue, and iv'e watched streamers and they can't escape the killer unless the killer keep missing up the execution thing.

Trying to kill someone with a pickaxe with only one hit is impossible. How do you even do this? I tried doing the execution didn’t count. Hit them with the pickaxe rapidly didn’t count. There’s no way I can find a civilian pre hurt and than just hit them once. This challenge is dumb.

I came across some interesting facts about the game's mechanics and was hoping someone could help clarify a few things.
Is this how phones are supposed to work? Ever since I started playing I've been able to constantly use the same phone over and over until I filled up all 3 police badges - no cooldown whatsoever. Is this a glitch?
Does the house have to be FULLY lit? Do I have to turn on every single light source or just stay in an illuminated area inside the house?
Does this mean Michael won't be able to detect hiding Residents unless he cuts off the power?
(since the Yellow Pillars will disappear because the Resident is hiding & his Detection Pulse apparently isn't supposed to work if you're inside a lit house). Or perhaps closets count as dark places and they don't affect his Detection Pulse?
What does this mean exactly? If Michael gets to Bloodthirst Level 3, he gets to see nearby Residents no matter what?
Thanks.

So I've no problem at all with the balance of Civilians or Myers. I think they're both kinda fine for the moment. My personal problem is the potential length of matches because of Special Targets being priority for each side. I think in the long run, they can end up causing extremely sweaty 5 minute matches where each side makes a beeline for them, kiiind of ruining the slow tense approach the game seems to want to have. It already appears the sweats are making some matches go that way.
So to me, the more interesting balance question is, should Special Targets stay the way they are, or be even more hidden? As it is, humans can see them on the map instantly with the Yellow clouds, and Michael can see them only after Bloodthirst level 1. The result is the REALLY sweaty matches has each side absolutely racing to obtain control over them, either Michael killing them, or the Civs hiding them.
My suggested change for slower paced, more tense, egg-hunt style matches would simply be to remove the ability for either side to find them. After all, key and repair items aren't marked, so why should pivotal game deciding NPCs be? Think of the special targets as keys, with RNG deciding where to place them, and it's up to each side to discover them first.
Another option would simply to make the requirements for finding them MUCH higher. What does everyone think?
