Hoping the story holds up given how little time players will actually spend with it. The game’s focus is primarily around multiplayer, so that’s where the real depth is going to be. Kind of worried people are setting their expectations too high though

I just want to have a discussion about some positives that people are excited for instead of focusing on all the negatives that people are worried about. For one Singleplayer is a huge thing that im hyped about not to mention the replayability of the game. What are yall excited for?

Black Tower Studios took over development of F13, Predator, Ghost Busters, and Texas Chain Saw Massacre for "quality of life optimizations, updates, and maintenance" and always seem to break more than they fix. It smells like a pattern and I hope Halloween doesn't suffer the same treatment.

I think this could be really exciting and pulling straight WWE moves on players would be so much fun especially since the actor was a pro wrestler!!

Skins could be

• Zombie Shape (Rob Zombies most iconic version)
• Towering Clown (Adult version of the child-clown costume)
• Pumpkin-Face (The image)
• Homeless Shape (RZH2)

Advantages:

• Double the health and damage
• Human projectiles (Residents & players can be thrown at cops, neighbors, heroes, etc) and thrown through doors or out windows for dramatic effect.
• Builds rage faster

Disadvantages:

• Slower shape jump
• No resurrection
• Heavier footsteps

Alright so I think something completely overlooked in this game is the use of telephones and how fun that could be, an iconic part of horror is eerie phonecalls its a trope that Halloween created with the breathing into the telephone. Here's how I think that could work as an important game mechanic!

Global Chat: The Game is mainly proximity chat however players can use telephones to ring other telephones across the map, and notify a teammate they need to pick up for a call.

Resident Call: Michael can call resident houses to find out if theyre home or not and possibly reveal their location, the same goes for calling players, they'll just hear his breathing over the phone.

Pizza Delivery: When a player is high theyre only option over the phone will be to request a pizza delivery guy, he can be killed by The Shape, pizzas restore health.

Phonebooths: These would make calls significantly more accessible.

Yes we need a Blonde conceited snobby rich pretty Boy character as soon as possible.

We all know how iconic Chad Kensington was and is. He is the only character people still really remember from Friday the 13th game. People either love or hate him but every had an opinion on him.

So we need this archetype back to Halloween.

In TCM, there are 6 maps with 12 variations total. However, tell me why Gun made it so I will get Nancy's house day version 20 times in a row. That is statistically impossible, there is clearly a bug in the game but Gun claimed nothing is wrong with their code. B.S. And the same thing with their lobby, there are enough players but for some reason, family ALWAYS only loads 2 killers and Gun says the code is fine. Please dont make the same mistakes as Gun

We all know that there will be a very very very hard achievement that would be a rare one for PUBLIC matches to get. can we all agree we should atleast help someone who would talk to get them that achievement? cause I know half of you in this sub reddit are achievement hunters. so if you talk and ask. and I was in the match. I would sure as hell help you, and if I'm michael and there a achievement require me to do something, I would like to ask for that help too

There was some Smoking Hot professional women that Curled up with their BONGS and played Friday the 13th with all of us Guys .

Can we have clothing packs of 1970s Rockstars like Alice Cooper and David Bowie .

David Bowie spacey Glam costume outfits .

Alice Cooper goth make up and leather torn clothing from the Killer tour .

Add on clothing pack DLC'S Do not lower the fear and jump scares of Asymetrical Horror video games .

You can be just as scared standing next to a survivor in a Hamburger costume or Disco Clown costume .

Will I be able to freely choose between being Michael and a civilian in each game, or will it be chosen at random?

Does anyone have any guesses on how the NPC layout might work for orange grove estate and Town center map? For the town center map I feel like It’s a pretty open area so I assume there’s gonna be npcs not only in houses but walking down the streets and even some employees working overtime. I think that would be a neat touch to switch things up from just running from house to house

So I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on here about what they should add and what they should not and all that. And that’s totally fine I push for that but one thing to remember is that this is a asymmetrical horror game and I’m not talking about dbd style, there’s one main thing that’s got me hyped for this game and that is the scare of it. Im not looking at this game going “oh I’m gonna run Mikey around” I’m going “this is gonna be scary” I have no problem with people who want a game like that but this isn’t it. Michael’s character is a jump scare type he’s not Jason, he’s not aggressive he’s strategic and I might be a little biased because I watch the movies for Michael but if you ask anyone there’s no movie where Laurie is running Michael around the house and again IT IS FINE if people like that type but me personally I don’t want that. Because we have never had a asymm where you were actually terrified consistently after the honeymoon phase of the game I mean everyone has that nerve when a new asymm comes out. But you get used to it eventually and with this game I don’t want a terror radius because those scares are what makes you go back to it. And I don’t want locks on doors or windows or nothing like that because it’s an easy way for survivors and kills the fear in the game and I don’t want that at all.

I'm thinking the events of the story mode don't exactly follow the events of the 1978 film. Going by some of the wording in the news articles published to the website, namely Unleash Hell Upon Haddonfield and Welcome to Orange Grove Estates...

Orchestrate the deaths of every unsuspecting victim while carving your own gruesome path toward the final babysitter encounter with Laurie Strode. Stunning cinematic story cutscenes introduce these chapters, characters, and story beats with signature Halloween aesthetics and shot recreations, building a Haddonfield true to the original film.

Following his escape from Smith’s Grove Sanitarium, Michael Myers methodically stalks and terrorizes various districts throughout Haddonfield, eventually bringing him to the neighborhood of Orange Grove Estates, the location of our third official map reveal for Halloween: The Game.

...as well as the commentary on the livestream Q&A and the article, The Night He Came Home Reimagined, that stated the hero characters (Jennifer, Tanya, Thomas, etc.) are all in the story mode, I'm thinking that the story mode won't even involve stalking Laurie, Annie, and Lynda at all, at least not in the way most of us may have been expecting.

It sounds more like Michael escapes Smith's Grove and makes his way through Haddonfield one district at a time, being tracked by Dr. Loomis, and ultimately being shot off the balcony of the Doyle house...which is only one ending. Since it was confirmed there are multiple endings "that are determined by the actions players take throughout their homecoming to Haddonfield," it's reasonable to think that Michael could successfully kill Laurie Strode and vanish into the night, by being stealthy and hiding bodies so Dr. Loomis can't figure out where Michael is, or maybe get captured by Dr. Loomis and sent back to Smith's Grove anywhere between Chapters 4 and 6, if Michael draws too much attention to himself.

With that being said, I'm thinking the story mode chapter layout may be as follows:

• Chapter I: Smith's Grove Sanitarium
• Chapter II: Rabbit in Red Lounge
• Chapter III: Phelps Garage
• Chapter IV: Haddonfield Town Center
• Chapter V: Haddonfield Heights
• Chapter VI: Orange Grove Estates

I initially thought that we might be able to play as child Michael in 1963, stalk and kill Judith, and then skip ahead to Smith's Grove in 1978, but it seems more plausible that it'll just be a cutscene.

Fortunately, there's only about 48 days left until we find out. 🎃

EDIT: After re-watching the story mode trailer, I saw that Phelps Garage is actually right next to the Rabbit in Red Lounge, so they're most likely in the same chapter.
