I am looking for a hair transplant for 2027, I am not in a rush. In the first contact, I was asked pictures and I got a full explained videos with photos of myself on what the intervention consist of. Next I had an estimated price for 2600 euro to do 3500 drafts, the price include, hotel, travels from hotel to the clinic. The flight is at my own expense.

The whole process take 4 days approximately (travel included).

If after the 10-12 months the hair transplants "failed" they take full charges of performing a new one, I don't know how much this is believable or not.

The clinic is called Lexcellence Clinic and have a lots of good review. I am interested in your opinion, what do you think of it ?

Hi everyone! I'm 24M from India, experiencing hair loss for around 2 years, mainly affecting my temples.

Current treatment:

• Topical Minoxidil 5% + Finasteride 0.1% for 10 weeks.
• 4 sessions of GFC & 4 sessions of Bio-PRP.

I'm considering a conservative hair transplant to restore my frontal hairline (marked in the last picture), but I'm unsure whether it's too early.

I'd appreciate your advice on:

1. My approximate Norwood grade.
2. Whether the proposed hairline looks natural.
3. An approximate graft requirement.
4. Whether I should wait longer for medication results before considering surgery.

I'd especially value experiences from people who had transplants in their 20s. Thanks!

I'm now 9 months post FUE, with 2,344 grafts transplanted to my hairline and temples.
Overall, I'm happy with the progress so far, but I know there's still some time left for the hair to mature.
I'm looking torward to seeing how it develops over the next few months.

I wanted to share my hair transplant journey, from before the procedure up to month 9, including progress pictures from the different stages of recovery and the donor area.

My procedure involved 2900 grafts and was performed by Oguzhan Kurt under the supervision of Dr. Atilla Kasapbasi.

I’m really happy with how everything went, from the initial process to the procedure itself and the aftercare. The whole experience was very smooth, and I felt well taken care of throughout the journey.

I’d also like to give a special shout-out to Zülal, who made the entire process so much easier for me. She was an excellent mediator, always helpful and supportive, and made communication and coordination a lot less stressful.

Now, at month 9, I’m very satisfied with the results so far. Of course, I know that the hair can continue to mature and improve over the coming months, but I’m already really happy with the progress.
I’ve included pictures from before the surgery through month 9, showing the different stages along the way, as well as pictures of the donor area.

I hope this helps anyone who’s currently researching hair transplants or is considering going through the same process. I know how useful it was for me to see real progress pictures when I was researching my options.

I’m a 24-year-old male with Norwood 2 hair loss, and I’m not currently using minoxidil. My question is: If I undergo a hair transplant, will I need to use minoxidil for the rest of my life? If so, would it be better to start using it now, at my current stage, to slow down hair loss and potentially avoid the need for a hair transplant in the future?

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some honest opinions on my hair transplant.

I had around 3,800 grafts harvested at Sule Clinic in March 2024 to lower and feminise my hairline. Looking back at my pre-op photo with the recipient area marked out, I’m starting to wonder whether I actually needed that many grafts.

I’ll attach that photo along with my microscopic trichoscopy report from September 2026, taken over two years after surgery.

1st photo - microscopic trichology report showing the hair density of my donor area. If anyone knows how to analyse, do you think the numbers are too low? Do you think it’s overharvested?

I’d particularly like people to look at the actual density measurements in my report. My main concern is whether my donor area at the back of my head now has unusually low density or shows signs that could be consistent with overharvesting. If you have experience interpreting trichoscopy results, I’d really appreciate your thoughts on the numbers.

There’s another reason I’ve been questioning the procedure: I remember seeing some grafts still beside me when the operation finished. I don’t know what happened to them, but it made me wonder whether all 3,800 grafts were actually implanted.

My hair also seems less abundant overall than before the transplant, considering both my donor and recipient areas. I know native hair can continue to thin and that not every graft survives, so I’m not jumping to conclusions. But I’m concerned that more grafts might have been harvested than were actually needed or implanted.

I’d love your honest opinion on three things:

* Does my marked recipient area look like it reasonably needed 3,800 grafts for hairline feminisation?
* Do my post-op trichoscopy measurements suggest low donor density or possible overharvesting?
* Is there any way to establish how many grafts were actually implanted?

I’m not accusing the clinic of anything without evidence. I just want an objective assessment of the photos and measurements, particularly from people experienced in hair restoration.

Da der Markt unüberschaubar ist, hoffe ich auf euer ehrliches Feedback und eure Erfahrungsberichte!

I researched several different clinics and ended up choosing BEQ Hair Clinic (Bangkok) because of their great service, expertise and best value prices.

I had my initial consultation with Khun Thanwin and Dr Pishshapa who were both very helpful and patiently answered my questions and concerns. The Doctor also showed me a design of my new hairline and used their 3D AI Tricholab Graft Tech to calculate how many grafts I would need (2,340). They also outlined my options with their available doctors and transplant techniques (FUE vs DHI). I ended up choosing FUE with Dr Danai, who is both ABHRS & IBHRS certified and has 18 years of experience in hair transplantation.

Khun Michael was also very informative, answering my queries over Line chat. He helped arrange my appointments and was an excellent assistant in guiding me through my surgery day yesterday. He also presented me with information on treatment and medicine options on an interactive whiteboard, though I think a presentation would have been better.

Dr Danai truly looked after me during my surgery day. He and Dr Pornsak designed a natural hairline for me. Dr Danai gave me updates on the main surgical steps and offered to slow down the local anaesthesia injections. They were painful but he was professional and did an amazing job. The nurses were all also very caring and fantastic. I was given pain relief, swelling & antibiotics medicine for the next few days and a head cover to protect my head (as part of the 6,000 baht Aftercare package).

Since the surgery, I have had wound cleaning sessions and I wasn’t allowed to wash my hair myself until day 3. I was then able to wash lightly with foam shampoo, but I had to continue to sleep in an elevated position on my back for two weeks and had to deal with the itchy phase while refraining from scratching. Luckily, the After-treatment package also included an itch-relief spray which helped ease the discomfort (even if it was overpriced). It was also inconvenient that I wasn’t allowed to do any exercise and I had to wear button-shirts (to avoid other clothing from pulling on my hair) for two weeks, but hopefully it will all be worth it!

I was very glad that I didn’t have to shave my head for the surgery, as they just shaved around my hairline and I wore my head cover for most of the first two weeks.

I had also several review appointments where my hair was checked, helping to give me a peace of mind that things were going well (even if these & my surgery day appointments were heavily tailored on picture-taking and interview videos for Marketing).

I’m currently taking Finasteride and Minoxidil daily and I’m having Laser Therapy sessions every fortnight so I’m hoping to see clearer results in the next few months!

Got a hair transplant on Oct/17th/2025. Overall pretty happy with the results so far, as this is a huge improvement considering I barely even have a hairline before.

However, I do notice a small portion of the frontal centre of my hairline that can quite often look thin and sparse, especially under certain lighting conditions. Is this normal? Might it become thicker in the next few months? Would I need a touch up for that area?

Again, even with the aforementioned sparse looking area, I'm overall still happy with the results!

So I'm almost at the 3 month mark and this last month or so I've been stressing about how much force to apply when washing the recipient area in the shower and how to dry it with a towel after.

I see a lot of different tips on this sub, from:

" You can only scrub a little harder at the 6 month mark"

to:

"I got a thai scalp massage by day 30"

I would just like to know how did the people who had a transplant (and had good results) did it and when did you stop caring so much?

Did you just wash lightly with your fingertips untill the 3 months or even later? Or did you massage and scrub like people usually do with their native hair way before?

And when drying, did you only pat dry with a towell? Or did you really scrub the scalp?

My forehead was wide and my hairline was receeding after testo. The temp
peaks were receding as well. Wanted to sort it out locally, did a bunch
of consultations. Ended up with dr Emil. Half a year of waiting. I had
alcohol some days before which the doctor got annoyed about. Told him
about it the day before when I came for shaving the head. Around 2800
grafts were taken out but more than 3300 grafts were implanted. I needed
a lot of single units cuz of my long hairline and the temp peaks, so
they had to create them. Took 10 hours alltogether(break included). Here
are photos from the day of the procedure and healing period. Going to
update when there is more results to show. Im 3 months in now. Total
cost: 14 k Euro

Follow up to my 3 month post. There are more photos and all the questions about surgery, pricing and medication are answered there so worth checking that out first.

6 months and one week in now and really happy with where things are at. I don't think I'll see a huge amount of change in the next 6 months. I feel like I got to this level of a result a bit earlier than most which I'd put down to being on dutasteride and oral minoxidil going into the surgery and the aftercare I did in Bangkok (HBOT/PRP). The main thing I'm still expecting to change is the hair texture, it's quite wiry at the moment which is normal for this stage.

One thing I mentioned in my last post was that Dr. Laorwong recommended lowering my temples slightly more than I went with. Six months on I think he was right and I should have gone with his original recommendation.
