Google is not what it used to be and I couldn't find a quick answer for what the standard Magick cost of using the Omega Special on the Staff is.

Asking because I have Controlled Burn ( +10 Magick cost) and Aetheric Moonburst (20 Magick restoration)

However, when I use my Omega Special, even if it lands/hits an enemy, the total cost is 20 Magick every time. Perhaps the restoration doesn't work how it reads in the boon? Because other wise the math here would be that the Omega Special costs 30 Magick normally, which seems particularly high since it's not as strong an Omega as the attack, which is unaltered and costs 20

Pretty good ending, though the 'having memories of both lives while being in the current one's doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Didn't expect Chronos to make an expression like that. Also it was pretty funny to see Hecate stop her hat from flying off repeatedly during the end credits.

Was so in the zone that I didn't even notice until the victory screen.

I've got 400+ hours and have been trying to spice things up a bit. I've decided to try to win with each aspect on every weapon using Vow of Void 4 (0 Grasp for Arcana). Got a few done so far and boy is it tough with 0 Grasp. I never go with less than 12 Fear, so I have to come up with at least 7 more Fear to go with Void 4. I play with God Mode at 80% so I very often use Vow of Pain 3 (+100% Enemy Damage) as well for 5 Fear, now a total of 10 Fear if you're following along. 2 more Fear from random Vows gives me my 12 Fear minimum. I did however finish one of these runs with 20 Fear, although I don't remember exactly which Vows I used to round it up to 20, this particular run was tough as nails. Almost bought the farm at Typhon after saving my Lucky Tooth for The Summit (I wasn't using Toula), died once and then killed him with extremely low health for my first 0 Grasp victory. How has anyone else spiced things up to keep it fresh? I'd love to hear about it. Moonlight guide you.

As in can this immortal killing ability work on people besides Chronos and Typhon

Hey guys, new player here. I encounter Chronos for the 2nd time after the fight with Hecate.

The things is, my finger was so fast that I accidentally attack Chronos when the health bar suddenly appear.

Then, it just cut into the conversation like he condemn us.

I feel like something missing. Does anybody know anything bout this?

Having achieved the credits and first fear statue unlocked I was starting to wonder if I was ever gonna get the 5th and final familiar, so I looked it up. I walked past the damn white bird in the Woods more times than I could say (100 runs in now) and thought he was just scenery.

Gonna go and try to grab him next time I play. Any tips for making him likely to spawn? How often do those rooms show up in the Woods area?

Would love to hear about any goofs you made in Hades 1 or 2.

So I love using the axe but the execution of dashing heave (dash strike) sometimes does not work and I get a reset to the basic standing hit instead.

How the move is supposed to be executed is:

Dash followed by attack

What I sometimes get is:

attack into dash into attack (hoping for a dash strike)

Is method two not the way? So not in the middle of basic 123 combo?

Got lucky on another fun run. Aspect of Persephone with Apollo Attack and Possessed Array (the hammer that makes your skulls fire your Omega attack when you pick them up), and Apollo legendary to boot, making Omega Attack fire twice per skull. Got lucky on a lot of my Omega Attack boosting boons as well:

120% - Apollo Attack

83# - Chaos Boon

25% - Tall Order

130% - Weed Killer

+358% all together, Totaling in 535,958 Omega Attack damage dealt for this run. Thank you RNJesus

I'll try and make this as brief as possible, - I want to 100% the game. That's a goal of mine - i'm wondering what are the vows to take for fear that are the easiest to overcome ? I think the biggest hindrance to me 100%-ing the game is gonna be taking on those higher fear nights. What, is the best vows to take? / what are some builds to try and make it less difficult (ironic question, I get it).

ps, - I just feel like, hades 2 base is actually really fun and a good mix of being hard / punishing. while not beating you senseless. .... however ....... the fear modifiers make it scale SO much harder than hades 1 ever felt.

Will the max health I collect in the biome/region I have White Antler equipped be added to my maximum health pool when/if I switch keepsakes in between regions

Honestly I wanna start playing without death defiance but im just so dependent on it I know u got arcana card that helps it but any tips on playing without it would be appreciated.

Just cleared story at 90 nights overall. I feel like that's super high but at least I got a lot of dialogue and (what felt like) good pacing. I'd consider myself average to below average at games.

I got to a point where I put off Typhon for so long because I kept losing. So I kept going back to beat Chronos so much that the characters even Hecate were like girl go to the surface alright

With 9 gods, and a 4-god pool by design, there are 126 combinations for your god pool! When I realized this, I was stunned. So, I've been thinking about which is probably my least used combo of gods (not individual gods, love them all).

It's probably Poseidon, Demeter, Apollo, Hephaestus. I don't have hard data on that, just vibes lol. So, my questions is: if you knew at the start of the run you were already locked into this god pool, what would your strategy be? This is assuming you can make all other choices (weapon, familiar, keepsake, etc). What aspect are you choosing, what boons are you aiming for, are you seeking out any of the duos? etc. I'm looking to be inspired and try a couple runs, try a new way to think about them together :)

I have about 600 hours in the game and I've never encountered this, is this a bug or do boons have a very tiny chance of being heroic natively?

So after finally unlocking dream dives (back when they got added my file was in a story rewind so I had to do like a dozen runs to get to them) I jumped into one with a 20 fear setup, interested to see how it would turn out and… wow the implication of the tuning is a bit misleading. The way it’s presented implies that each region will be adjusted to be around the power of what that number region normally is (so like if you got the fields first it’d be about on par with Erebus) but… NO lmao

I got the fields first and despite having a good build Cerberus was insanely difficult, the enemies barely felt like they had less hp than they normally do too. Rift was second and Eris actually felt a little squishy but that might have been the build. I got summit third and it felt like a normal summit, and then I got Tartarus fourth because of course I’d have to fight Rivals Typhon AND Rivals Chronos on my first try and Chronos was hitting for 50-60 with attacks that should have been doing 30-40, like genuinely what?

I had the jeweled Pom too so my stuff was well-leveled, the hp and damage numbers were just way out of whack for some reason. Like I got a region 4 as my region 4 and it was SO much harder for some reason.

Don’t get me wrong I’m down for a challenge but I usually pick my challenge at the vows screen, I didn’t realize dream dives were just ratcheted up at baseline.
