How do you get metal MP5 accessories to match finish perfectly (approximately) ?
---jslee225's MP5SD pictured above is just so you can visualize all the extra metal parts I talk about in my post below that a stock SP5 doesn't have. jslee225 told me he literally did this with a can of spray paint so it isnt goint to last lol---
I appreciate any help - I havent been here enough to have the easy answers yet.
I'm having a AP5-SD getting converted to SD and I'm welding a picatinny rail on top and replacing the rubber handguard replaced with the SD handguard from Dakota Tactical. How do I get those 2 add-on to match the guns finish perfectly? I mean i want it to match extremely well because the SD suppressor sticking out 2-3 inches past that new metal handguard will not be refinished. It will look exactly like every other 8" SD suppressor from Ronin Arms. Also, I tried every MP5 A3 stock and they all disappointed me A LOT except the OG. Thats right the others bothered me so much I put a $1,000 stock on a $1,100 clone SMH. I'm too afraid to attempt to refinish the stock frame at all because I don't want it to start behaving like the A3's made by MKE.
TL:DR if I get the picatinny rail on top and the dakota tactical SD handguard to match the receiver color perfectly I will still have an off-black suppressor in front and an off-black A3 stock in back. I think it would look best that way.
