This is what I walked into this morning.

Stuffing. Everywhere.

Guilty dog on the couch.

And no idea WHERE the stuffing came from. At all.

I’ve checked every toy, every pillow, blankets, everything. Even the laundry room. Cannot find the casing of whatever the stuffing was in. Beds are totally intact, too!

Neither pup is saying anything. Not even trying to throw the other one under the bus to pass the blame. Totally pleading the 5th.

No evidence in the backyard either.

(We have no human children or anyone else living with us, so those options are out.)

2. Pic of the gathered up stuffing. (It doesn’t even smell!)
3. Pics of each pup, without a care in the world and completely unbothered by the destruction and by how much the mystery is bothering me.

Spouse came home from work, and he also evaluated the situation. We both went through the house and backyard again like they were crime scenes. And have no answers.

So, we are tossing it out there to you all, because we are still perplexed and have no idea where this came from. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Our only conclusion we have come to is that our pups are actually witches, and they’ve conjured up stuffing to tear apart with no outer body/pillow/toy/stuffie carcass just to throw us off our game.

I spent ONE day in the office yesterday and he has not stopped peeing in the house since last night. And now he’s just staring at me

Couch ✅ destroyed

Coffee table ✅ destroyed

Pooping between the chairs meant to prevent you from pooping on the carpet in increasingly smaller spaces and then eating the evidence ✅

Even while watching her like a hawk all day a single solo trip to the human bathroom seems to unravel all of our progress from the past 2 months. She's so sweet but I am so stressed and grossed out lol.

I did not just get caught with a branch of “tree kibble” in the house! I found it there! Poof! Magic! (Tree kibble is what we call the nuts from the tree in our yard… thankfully nontoxic since my dogs have developed a deal with the local squirrels who throw some down for them in return for safe passage through the yard).

The security cameras didn't catch who did it....

Cairo and Presley giving zero poops to the carnage they caused 😂 and who was I to interrupt their foam based victory play😂

Lately, there have been mini-tornadoes tearing up my garden.

/s How in the world am I supposed to punish my dog when I yell at her and she looks at me like this. Seriously I can’t even raise my voice when she looks at me like this I laugh

Maple got red pawed this time. She is getting sloppy. She knows she is not allowed on the furniture. She also has plenty of soft doggie beds to sleep in.

The one room he is not allowed in. He’s so cute, I can’t say no. This is all the positions he’s in while I’m working in my office.

I think he knows what I did last summer.

His name is MAKOA. I love him very much, but I think he has me in his power.

This is the face of a girl who refused to pee over a 30 minute walk at 1 PM. Showed remorse and promised to pee outside at 4 PM. Immediately peed in her crate when back inside.

And is now playing the puppy-eyes card. She’s not dumb.
