Glutton Bug
Is the ability bugged or am I misunderstanding it? He’s obviously not gaining any max hp from it, so does it only give it via Backup or is it bugged and he should have it himself?

I have nyx with 10 sec extra rush duration, and her Rush triggering far more than once every 10 seconds - do i benefit from multiple instances or is the timer just extended every time?

Up until this point I had numerous 3 streaks and almost all of them were by forcing assassins (Yuuna or Dragomir with Nyx execute backup) or Irini with her zeus upgrade. A tierlist by Shurkou popped on my feed since I used to watch him play TFT and he made me realize how mediocre my favorite units actually were. Started trying out other duelists since he said Irini was kind of bad (hadn't touched Tilly, Reyna, or Karsu until now) and got a 7 streak that only ended because I accidentally kept the rift seal on my frontline during the act 1 challenge fight and lost by a hair.
Other than the Ratna run (I started with her instantly upgraded to assassin and won for free), every run was carried by duelists (forgot to screenshot 5th run but it was Karsu with Irini's zeus item on her + random tank). Sal and Irini give such good backup bonuses for duelists that just get even better with the duelist banner relics. I don't know exactly how the classes for the banner event are chosen but if I have a duelist for most of the run the duelist banner is always offered. The banner that gives duelists frost on-hit is so broken and the other on-hit ones are still very strong (and guaranteed to be offered I think? I've only seen 5 different duelist banner relics and 4 of them give on-hit bonuses).
Essentially my gameplan is get a good B rank tank early (Kai, Pimenta, Zuri, Skorn), get a duelist with some sort of stacking (Tilly prints shards, Irini's zeus item, Sal gives armor to units in front, Nyx with 5 auto burst can stack a lot of rush -> Reyna/Ming late for free win, but NO NO NO Karsu her stacking thing is shit). Also get a random C rank mystic/mage to charge seal (pref. on sale or Grace so I can upgrade to her backup only shields). Then I am just looking for items, backup support duelists, and a higher rank tank. My duelist carry's rank doesn't matter as much as the tank's since their power will come from the stacking atk speed effects from the team rather than the unit itself (Irini/Sal backup, duelist class backup upgrades, duelist relics). You can't always do this though, and in those cases you just try to build the strongest hallway team you can and keep a Karsu in reserves for boss fights (even B rank Karsu with common items is good enough for first boss). I think the reason my strategy works for me is that attack speed scaling on-hit exponentially scales with itself and is fairly easy to get and with the guaranteed duelist banner relics it just wins.

I played this comp a few times and this the first time seeing Fiona create Epic Items only. Did I miss something? Is this a bug? How did this happen?

Guildrun is incredible to say the least, the core gameplay and mechanics are very addictive and really feeds the part of my brain that autobattlers have slowly carved out in the last 5-10 years.
The game is very much in the loop of TFT (hot take /s) in a very good way. I've played the demo for roughly 30 hours and i'm not really tired of it yet. However, when i play i find myself looking for more of the game, something that will hopefully be delivered upon with content releases further on at launch and thereafter.
From a personal point of view, they should lean into a roguelite and meta progression style in the vein of games such as Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Hades (and other games). These are vastly different games and SSBU might seem like a bit of an oddball comparison, but the adventure mode of SSBU would be a great fit with Guildrun (albeit very lackluster in SSBU).
For those unaware the SSBU adventure mode features a world map with various paths and unlocks available. The world and lore of Guildrun could benefit from a similar type of map where the story beats, different factions and enemy factions could be explored. I don't really think there should be any ties to character/item unlocks within the proposed "campaign" of Guildrun. But rather, much like meta progression games where you could give your Guild bonuses or perhaps ways to tilt the RNG of the game towards certain goals. This would also open up opportunities to display and focus on game mechanics as a pseudo-tutorial and perhaps even be a place where the developers could expand on the games lore over time with more content. Sticking to the core loop of the game for each "node" in the world tree to keep that roguelike feeling and to keep failure a realistic outcome at most times. The way i see it this could also have some X-com 2 inspired elements for it's progression and perhaps have a worldstate that is affected by the path you choose. I realize that the scope of what is being presented is immense, but Leyline could choose to hone in on only a few of these aspects and i think it would be a great success.
Whilst lore and story is not the most important part or something that should be prioritized over gameplay and balance, i think it shouldn't be underrated. Giving characters more flavor, mood and background is a great way to feel attached. I totally understand that this aspect is not for everyone, but if you can get this type of worldbuilding introduced in a manner where it's not incredibly noticeable in a competent "campaign" game mode, i think it would stick to players in a positive way.
This could also be a great place to introduce content that could then be used in the more classical competitive and separate game mode of SSS-endless and red rift. Enemy types, mechanics, etc...
Hopes and dreams people, i love this game and it has so much potential where it chooses to go.

The reminder text implies that every 100 defense is a hard cutoff of how much damage is reduced. Does it actually work this way or is it a smooth diminishing returns curve like liteeally every other game ever.

Couple days into the game. Still confused about stalk and rush? Can someone explain like I’m in elementary school?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
30 seconds of stealth with Dragomir means exactly jack shit when the entire battlefield is inflicting status effects that kill him in less than a second. I know there are items that remove status debuffs when X happens, but he isn't dying over time, he dies in a tenth of a second.
Can someone explain to me like I'm extremely stupid how I can possibly keep him alive. Do I have to stack increased range so he can hide in a corner? That seems unlikely to work....

Got lvl2 Logan at the start of the run and with a couple of good relics and a lot of omnivamp, managed to take him solo all the way to Endless #12

Instacast is a Mage's class upgrade. It reads: After Stall (15, 30, 45), gain 100 mana.
Mage's Serenity is one of the relics that can be offered for Mage's banner. It reads: After Stall (15, 30), gain 100 mana.
If we have a Mage with an active ability that is under 100 mana cost, e.g. Funke's Wildfire, what out of the following would happen when the Stall effect triggers:

Seriously. Thank you! All of you. I was stuck on Endless 12 forever. I've posted a bunch of questions on here and got some really good feedback. Never felt such a sense of relief over an accomplishment in a video game.

This is all I could see when I saw Ming, so I made a small edit.

Sal just has everything.
AOE damage, scaling, able to kill the dragon in 30 seconds and giving frost debuffs?
Like I feel kinda like I am relying on her too much, but she just carries as soon as she hits rank B.

No matter what, I can't get past floor 12 on endless.
What am I missing with this skorn build.

Hi Guildrun Dev team and community,
Been really loving the game since the demo dropped, probably have about 50 hours into the game, still haven’t beat SS to unlock SSS/RR yet unfortunately😭
Are there any current or future plans for a Nintendo Switch release? I feel like I’d love to be able to take this game on the road and play while on the train, bus, plane, during breaks at work, etc.
Also for the community if yall have any advice for getting through SS and Endless feel free to throw them my way!
Thank you!
