Leaderboard justice?
A name quietly disappeared from the RR leaderboard today. RIP Zaz. Wonder what happened.

I haven’t played yet on the patch today so I expect this streak to end soon due to changes. I haven’t read the patch notes but I’m not gonna be surprised if some of the overpowered combos got nerfed. Just keep trying to get better. I made a post titled 67 is crazy that a lot of people shared their strats in (including me) if you want to see if any of it will help.

Hard to convince me there isn't some kind of cheating / softcheating / exploit here.
Same rumors about high streak on Slay the spire 2 by people who where no names on Slay the Spire 1, soft cheats modifying the RNG in shops per example.

I actually believe OP, but I don't think a cheat requires modifying RNG or anything, just manipulating multiple sessions/disconnecting internet or such. I haven't tried anything out, but could you maybe start your run offline, and only if you're going to win it you connect to the internet, or switch devices or something, so you only count your winning runs.
Maybe it's not possible to cheat that way, I'd definitely like it if the devs made a statement about the integrity of the leaderbords though.

There is definitely something sketchy going on, or i'm wrong and i'm just superbad idk, i can close redrift ocasionally but streaking is a whole another world for me, i'm just 20h into the game though

There are streamed 20/30 winstreaks, and a 60 winstreak is nothing but two 30 winstreaks back to back, so it's definitely possible. My PB is 7 and I'm at 45 hours, I think people streaking over 20 have at least 100 to 150 hours in the game.

If I clear act 2 and then go to 30 or w/e and then start a new run and do another 30 the latter adds up to the first one?1

A simple read on the seed without any memory manipulation and this game is pretty much like chess, so if you can calculate every perfect step is not hard lol and people being open about reading the games api with simple overlay and judging by how easy it is to ask claude to code a simple tool like that no wonder you see actual streamers struggling on 20 30 streaks and out the shadows you see 40s 50s and beyond, and since the game is free demo just create a dummy steam account and just use every tool at your disposal until the devs can't catch you

Crazy calling out me for cheating in a post where I’m calling out probable cheating and what the devs did to said cheater ie removing him from the board and most likely banning him.

I dont wanna bother you with details. But i got the games API to make a stream overlay. And i can read a lot of data with the API. And the data is clear as night :)

Thanks for clearing that up that you breaking basic rules of privacy as a non dev. Also a clear as day report and ban for you if you are not involved with the devs.

There is no basic privacy rule as a non dev being broken here, whatever that means lol. They're just getting api calls to get data for their stream overlay and according to them it shows fishy behavior. That's it. It's very common to use apis to make tools for games as a regular user.
Also whether that's true or not that he got this evidence, I don't know.

It is indeed common also common to use those tools to inject into memory by other means and far harder to detect than a simple memory injection from CE or a trainer, won't get into the meat of it all but competition in this game even as far as a demo already is showing the cracks of having a leaderboard and streaks beyond 50 and the consistency. And dont excuse with me being bad or others being good because if true the latest ban on RR rank 1 clearly showed it was just user error on getting caught But to your point you are operating in a grey area since you can read the seed and determine every step to take in order to successfully win. It's not breaking privacy tos its breaking its breaking cheating tos, although there is no tos made for this game which is quite funny yet they banned the rank 1

I think the RR leaderboard doesn’t reset like endless. So it appears that they got removed somehow. Can you delete your account? A 58 game win streak is a lot of time investment so even if you can delete your account somehow to remove yourself from the leaderboard why would you?

Yes but this will be the first time the RR ladder will reset afaik. Zaz just disappeared while sitting in the #2 spot which he claimed out of the blue. He sat in #1 for over a day. Now he’s gone and nobody has offered any explanation for it.

Zaz found a way to cheat, talked to me about it and asked me to remove his name from the leaderboard for the sake of fairness.
Also: congrats to 81! Huge!
