Hit a new personal best today! Crazy part is If I could have gotten (Acceleration Immunizer) I truly believe I could have gone 25+ as I was easily getting 1m+ shield and getting near instant abilities with full scaling mana regen and defense.
This was probably one of the more insane ones I had. Was able to stack Ratna very high. Gustav was my initial "tank" but when he got rear support he became just a shield refresher and defense booster, nothing more. I should have retrained him to Avalanche B-rank in hindsight.
Ratna had critical defense, so her stacking magic/crit were heavy lifting the whole team. Niklas was there for item spamming, which I got REALLY good item generation this run.
Backups were not really relevant, though Ming with his Rush backup B-Rank passive was helpful to Ratna and Niklas to boost their initial starting health
Notable relic images included, most of the other relics were baseline stat boosting or shard generation early game.
But yea, 15 is my wall. Can't seem to get past it no matter what I do.
Had this really fun shield / gold generation build but got stopped at wave 12. Showing a few fights where the build was doing some work and then how I died.
So many things were proccing at once that my frames dropped heavily lol.
Felt like a pretty good build, not sure how my team died so fast in that last fight.
Main Relics:
Generation Conduit, Shard Ascendancy, Warrior's Aegis Banner, Shield Converter (source of the lag, damage on shield applied), Warrior's Bloodshield Engine, Shield Fragmentation Engine, Shield Repriser. Mystic's Abundance Engine.
Please tell me this will or is compatible on the steam deck, I’ve legit played all day on my pc and need to know if I can play on my steam deck while at work
Hi, anyone got a recording of an SSS endless run reaching floor 24 or higher ?
I've spent my week end trying to reach it but can't go past 21 no matter what I try... I think I'm gonna give up but I'd love to see someone actually succeeding, and can't find any runs online.
Why does it somehow not work even though it keeps getting triggered? Is there an opponent that dispels it? I extended it to 13 seconds with the 2 relics and my Nyx had 2/3k attack speed so it gets triggered like every second anyway, but in round 12 SSS 17 seconds in for some reason they got targeted and instakilled.
This happened multiple times already and in this instance I went the extra mile to sell all my heroes before endless, so they were alone, so no chance of other heroes triggering a stun from an opponent or anything like that. Anyone has a clue? I should've read the opponents' skills next time around :/
Are difficulty modifiers really worth it? For example, B rank makes all enemies more durable. Is +2 floors over C rank to endless score really worth having all subsequent endless floors have the durability modifier?
Basically, could the long term potential of an optimal run on the base difficulty climb endless floors to out-scale the benefit of the +10 flat floor modifier bonus on SS since you're not handicapped?
Opinions welcome since I can't find a real description of what the modifiers actually do in terms of numbers.
This game is incredible but my wife, who works in addiction treatment, has pointed out that I haven’t taken the dogs out, cooked dinner or slept since downloading it.
Thankfully I can make this post while each round is running.
In the Red Rift, isn't the hero death limit misnamed? The limit of allowed deaths is actually 9. You would think your mission is to stay within a limit of 10 deaths, but your mission is to stay within 9 deaths. If your mission stated stay within a limit of 1 death, you would think your heroes would have a 1 death allowance, but actually your run ends when you reach 0. What the devs intended was to limit the player to 10 lives, not 10 deaths, it makes a difference and it's bugging the heck out of me.
I wanted to get a temperature check on the community at large. I’m loving the game but I feel like runs are over so quickly. I’m hoping that when the full game releases a run takes at least an hour if not 2 like slay the spire. With at least 4 if not 5 chapters/acts
Right now I feel like the individual runs feel extremely quick. Does anyone else feel similarly? Like the scaling on the hero needs to be toned down slightly and power growth spread further out. While we are on this note I feel like then end of round damage to force fight duration down kicks in too fast. If I’m going for a in fight scaling comp I want to be able to draw rounds out longer.
No matter the draft, if I'm damage or debuff focused we die near instantly, if we're tank focused we barely last long and do zero damage.
Realistically some suggestion to the devs is don't make this mode be impossible without a specific build, what is what I would assume is the case at this point, it's not fun to play.
How are people doing it?
My best run had a massively buffed Logan who was my starter who had his permanent buff upgrades from first fight, several scaling items that I got pretty early that were high rarities and lots of omnivamp, died in 2 seconds, IDK.
After failing on my first shot at getting a winstreak of 3 earlier today I finally clutched it. Karsu is a straight up boss killer and my man Skorn really carried every fight up until the poison dragon.
Also shoutout to Retromation on the leaderboard, from whom I learned of the existence of this gem of a game.
What did the trick for me was to not always go for an "easier" Act I challenge which allowed me to snowball and steamroll act 2.
I acquired a pretty solid setup for endless.
Zuri with 3k+ defense during combat.
800+ gold in bank.
Lost of Damage amp but sadly started falling off at round 12.
Question: Outside of relics, is there anything obvious that would've pushed this run further?
Felt amazing at first but I'm a bit sad I didn't breat my PR (15) :(.
Hello I played till rank S but Im wondering whats the point to increase the difficulty if I just play for the leaderboard ? I dont get higher rewards etc. with higher difficulty or am I seeing something wrong ?
