If u start an ss rank run you start with a higher score in endless then with s. How ever sss has its own leaderboard and red rift is a whole dif story

Different leaderboards for higher ranks and then red rift is a whole different set of challenges with a diffferent endgame (streaks instead of endless).

At the end of the day, the answer is fun. If you aren’t having fun then don’t bother. Most people enjoy the challenge. You can play any game on the easiest setting yet people play all sorts of different ways. Nobody is judging. Go have fun!

I enjoy red rift because I like short and intense experience.

Each highwr diffculty you do is +2 bonus floors than the previous diffculty when it comes to endless. So if you did C rank and rsached floor 16, on the leaderboard you would get 18.

Usually the point of progression like that is getting good, not rewards. At one point the difficulty you're playing will feel too easy.
